Kyle Vespera had assaulted a woman from a noble family and nearly killed her younger brother.

That was the talk of the day, on the streets in the houses and Zhan made sure to make it big. 

He was casually sitting in the garden sipping his tea when a servant came and told that to him.

While A-Yuan and A-Xiang taking the rounds of the grounds, Simon came and sat down in front of him, "Gosh, these kids are so energetic."

Zhan smiled, "You are talking like an old man.

Zhan poured him some tea, while Simon sighed and drank his tea, "I am the oldest here by the way, out of everyone, of course, I will feel like an old man after all."

Zhan laughed, and watched the two kids happily running, "They look so happy even after such a harsh training."

"Hmm...they see to truly enjoy it. And they always ask me to teach them something new every day gosh!"

"Brother you have also troubled our master a lot."

"what are you saying I was a very obedient child."

"Yeah, yeah, you were so good in everything that you wouldn't eat yourself, you would keep on training till master came and took your weapon away, or you would spend hours trying to train azure, and once again master would have to come and forcefully drag you away.

What a bothersome child you were."

Simin laughed, "Shut up, I have trained so hard that's why I am better than you."

Zhan cannot say anything against this statement, "Indeed brother you are the best, no one can defeat you in being the best."

Meanwhile, Baron Vespera face huge problems the customers had stopped coming to his shop and his business was declining.

No matter how hard he tried no one wanted to invest and no one wanted to do any business with him.

So much stress was taking a toll on his health, no matter what he did wherever he went everyone would just look at him with disdain.

It was no better for his family, his wife couldn't even go out and even Adeena would have to go through harassment.

The matter soon escalated when Kyle told the police that how vicious and scheming Adeena was and it was soon revealed to the public as well, and then more gossips spread because Adeena was once a candidate for the saintess.

She can't even raise her head in front of the crowd.

Her family wanted to ask for help from Zhehan but he was not in the town but his mother did help them but it was not enough.

And it would never be enough because Zhan had made sure that no one would help them.

One day Baron Vespera just collapsed on the floor he completely broke down and cried his heart out, "Father!!"

Adeena held her father's hand as she saw him cry Adeena's mother was there as well.

Her father cried, "My years of hard work, have gone waste, ah!! I had worked so hard to raise my standard and become a baron, "The baron slapped his head again and again, "everything is gone!! my life's work my savings haaah!!!"

His wife who was beautiful and a kind woman cried as well, she had been with him since the beginning and she had seen her husband work day and night before he can stand up on his own feet.

Her husband had to work for years and years before he gained today's success but now it was all gone.

Adeena couldn't see her father like this, "Father let's go to duke WeiXiao, maybe he can help us."

His wife also agreed, "Yes, Duke WeiXiao is a kind man and he also has good ties with Zhehan and the third prince."

The Baron saw a ray of hope and wiped his tears and nodded, he has done everything he could maybe he should try this last option as well.

"Go and ask the people to prepare my carriage."

"Father I will also come with you," Adeena said and went out with her father, she was sure that the one who had a grudge against her was Zhan but if she can reach Simon and ask for his helo she was sure that Simon would definitely help them.

Simon is the duke and not Zhan, she has to reach Simon.

Meanwhile, Simon was in his study doing the paperwork, he was busy with his work while Zhan was in his room, reading books.

"Waah I enjoyed so much today," A-Xiang said as she happily sat beside A-Yuan.

"Brother Simon and Brother Zhan have taught us so many things! and his highness also behaves so nicely with us."

"I can't wait to meet his highness."

"Me too," A-yuan spoke when they saw a carriage entering through the gates of the mansion, and Adeena and her father stepped down.

"What are they doing here?" A-Xiang spoke.

A-Yuan stood up, "Maybe she is here to meet Brother Simon, We should go and tell brother Zhan, this woman had made him so angry that day and now she is at his house."

With that the two siblings quickly ran towards Zhan's room, meanwhile, a servant came to inform Simon about the Baron's visit.

"Baron Vespera?" Simon spoke, "Alright I will be there in a minute."

While A-Xiang and A-Yuan burst into Zhan's room startling him, "Brother Zhan that lady and her father is here?"

"Which lady?"

"That lady...Adeena" A-Yuan spoke.

"And she is here to meet Brother Simon."

"WHAT?!" Zhan immediately said and that startled the siblings before Zhan ran out of the building.

Why didn't he think of this before, unlike others Simon was not narrow-minded, Simon had money power, and influence, of course, his help will bring them back on their feet.

Simon is a good guy and he will not say no to the Baron and Adeena knew it that's why she came to him, Damn that woman, Zhan ran faster and thankfully he found his brother just leaving the study.

"BROTHER STOP!" Zhan panted, "Where are you going?"

Simon who was startled Spoke, "Baron Vespera came to meet me, so I am going to see him."

"No don't go, you do your work I'll go and see him."

"No Zhan he came to meet me it will be rude to send you... leave my way."

"I have to talk to you it's urgent."

"Whatever it is it can wait."

"No it cannot brother please."

Simon sighed and spoke in a cold voice," Zhan get out of my way, I am going to meet him, and well will take after that."

Zhan became quiet but his face had a worried expression while Simon went past him.

Now what to do, Zhan can't control Simon as well, because Simon has not drunk his blood.

Zhan placed a hand on his head, shit.

"Baron Vespera," Simon said with a smile and warmly greeted the baron, who almost cried after receiving kindness after such a long time.

"Lady Adeena"

"Greeting duke" The father and daughter greeted him

"What brings you here?"

The baron spoke, "Duke, please we need your help"

"Help? with what?" Simona sked they seated in the living room and Zhan had also joined them, he had a straight face.

The Baron then told him everything and Simon nodded, "Well your son has indeed done a heinous crime and should be punished."

The baron and Adeena looked down they also thought that Simon was not going to help them, "But I think you should not be punished for his crime...hence rest assured I will help you." 

Adeena and her father were overjoyed while Zhan just looked at them with a straight face.

Adeena looked at Zhan and smiled, "I thank you duke WeiXiao, you have done us a great offer."

In the meantime, A-Xiang also came with two cups of tea and served the baron and Adeena.

Simon smiled, "Have something before you leave Baron Vespera and Lady Adeena."

"Thank you for your generosity duke."

Simon just smiled, while Zhan clenched his fist and Adeena took a sip of her tea and glanced at Zhan before smirking which made Zhan even more furious.

Soon it was time for them to leave but before leaving Adeena came to Simon, "Duke, I have no idea how to thank you."

"It's alright Lady Adeena just take care of your father."

The baron was talking to Zhan while Zhan was listening half-heartedly he was really pissed today.

Adeena looked at Simon with admiration, if in the future Simon can support her house like this then how good it would be, going with the empress was a mistake she should have gone for Simon from the start.

"Have a safe trip," Simon said before the two left, "Why do you look in a bad mood?" he asked Zhan.

"Nothing I am going to my room."

Author's note: Wow I must say Adeena is quite smart she had the guts to go and ask help from Simon who is the real older brother of the very man who ruined her family, she may be evil but has a brain and also had the audacity to smirk at Zhan in his own home no wonder he was pissed.

I love a smart woman like her too bad she is the villain, but then all the characters here are evil
