Claude and the other's heartbeat stopped.

Cassandra looked at Yibo, who looked down and gulped. His face still had the makeup, making his skin darker and full of scars.

However, Cassandra looked t him for only a second before she looked at the dead bodies. Simon's face was down and since his body was covered with blood just like everyone else's he blended in perfectly fine, "Hurry, take them out." She said and walked towards Simon's cell.

Without wasting any more time, Yibo pushed the cart and ran outside. Zhan also came out and shut the door behind them.

This time, this passage had a sliding route and not stairs, so Yibo and Zhan pushed the cart with all their might before they came out and pushed harder to walk towards the gate.

Claude stayed there because he was sure that if he left, the Queen will doubt him.

They ran faster and came to the exit at the same time Cassandra also came to Simon's cell and saw it was opened she hurriedly ran in and saw that Simon was gone.

She then quickly ran out of there and climbed up the stairs, she saw Claude unconscious near the stairs as he was bleeding from his wounds but she did not care as she ran out. "HURRY UP SEAL THE EXITS HURRY!!" She said and the guards got to work however it was already late because Zhan and Yibo were out now and they quickly took Simon.

Yibo sat on the horse and with the help of Zhan he made Simon sit behind him Zhan also gave him his jacket that Yibo put on Simon.

Before they hurriedly rode their horses and ran away.

Meanwhile on the other hand Aurelia, Yanli, and Miles had prepared the setup.

"Aurelia." Yanli asked one last time, "We are going to burn this place if you have a problem tell us now."

Aurelia shook her head, "I am ready."

Yanli nodded, it was her plan to burn this place so that the Queen won't be able to come and look for Austin since Austin is dead it would be better to remove all the traces and everything else and Aurelia will also fake her death.

"Miles, let's get to work," she said and the three began they set fire to different parts of the mansion, one by one and after an hour at least the fire began to spread, soon the mansion was engulfed in fire while Yanli and the others left.

But before leaving Miles bought the dead body of a maid and Aurelia made her wear her ring that was the proof that she was Austin's daughter this should be enough to prove that Aurelia is dead.

Yibo and Zhan didn't take Simon back to Aurelia's mansion.

Instead, they went to a cottage, Aurelia had told them about.

This cottage belonged to Aurelia's mother and over time had been forgotten by others, and vanished from the documents but Aurelia never forgot it and took good care of it.

That's why it was in a good condition to this day, and the only person who lived here was Eva, Aurelia's mother's maid, who looked after the cottage.

Yibo and Zhan came in and made Simon lay down on the bed.

It was a small bed not so comfortable, it was a thin bed.

Zhan asked Eva to bring some clothes and warm water and a towel.

Eva quickly went to get those things while Yibo took off the jacket from Simon's body to examine his wounds.

His hands were trembling as he went through the injuries of his son.

Zhan sat beside him and gently opened Simon's mouth to see what was wrong with his mouth, but when he saw that Simon's mouth was actually burned from the inside he hurriedly let go.

Simon looked like a corpse and the only thing that was the proof that he was alive was the faint up and down movement of his chest.

Zhan then slightly opened his left eye to see but it was not in a good condition either.

Eva bought the water and towel as Zhan said, "do you know if there is a doctor somewhere here?"

He asked and Eva nodded, "Well, take me to him." he said and was about to leave but Yibo grabbed his hand, "Is the doctor necessary?"

Zhan knew what he meant Simon's injuries heal faster than other people so what was the need for a doctor? because Simon's blood was itself a medicine.

When Zhan thought about he sat back down beside Yibo, it would be dangerous to call someone from outside or even go outside.

Yibo let go of his hand and spoke to Eva, "We also want some clothes for him... and some bandages."

Eva nodded and got to work.

Yibo took the towel and wet it with water before wiping Simon's face, while Zhan worked on his chest, in the meantime Aurelia and the others also arrived in the cottage.

Aurelia was told by Eva that Yibo and Zhan were there so she ran into the room followed by the others once she entered the room she paused at her place and covered her mouth, she had to look away because she cannot bear to see the sight.

While Yanli's eyes were fixed on Simon, as if she cannot believe what she was seeing, it was horrifying. Simon's private parts were covered with a sheet.

A few seconds later Eva came to the room again and this time she came with bandages and medicines.

Zhan and Yibo cleaned Simon before they applied for medicines and bandaged his wounds. 

By the time they ended tending to his wounds which took them hours, Yibo gave the dirty water to Eva who threw it out, while Miles and Yanli helped to clean everything, while Aurelia was too disturbed that she only stared at her son.

However, Yibo looked at her and spoke, "I think you should go out, I have to put on pants on him."

Aurelia looked at him but did not say anything she just left but not before giving Simon another glance.

The pants that Eva had bought were very loose and comfortable.

After they were done with Simon's dressing Zhan went to wash his hands, which were covered with Simon's blood, they were hovering as Zhan glanced at his hands, Yanli looked at him and took the mug of water before pouring it on his hands.

Zhan washed his hands but they won't stop shivering.

After washing his hand Zhan also washed his face, before he sat down on the ground under a tree.

Yanli sat beside him, and kept her hand on his shoulder, after a while, Zhan finally spoke, "how will he recover from this?" his voice shook as he clenched his fists.

Yanli could not answer and Zhan spoke, "I went their own there, it was a horrible place, it was a terrible place, it reeked of death and decay...and he was holding there for one month..." Zhan stopped before he spoke again, "our little brother Cheng was held there as well, two most precious people of my life... I did not understand the severity when Cheng told us his story but now I do.

And it's horrible. It was horrible not even people like Callum should go through something like that."

Yanli sighed, as she tried her best to control herself, "Cheng and Zhehan will be here soon. All of us will be with Simon, we are not going to leave him alone."

Zhan nodded, "Never."
