Yibo watched the temple from a good distance, till now nothing was out of the ordinary, but his peace did not last long as he saw Cassandra and not just her, she bought an entire battalion with her.

Yibo's eyes widened, and so did Haoxuan's. , he took out his sword and was about to get for the attack but Haoxuan stopped him. "duke where are you going?"

"I am going to see what is going on."

"No, duke you can't with that sword out, at least lord Simon can get into trouble."

"He is already in trouble if Cassandra is there."

He said and was about to, but his hand was grabbed by someone else and he was pushed back. He saw Zhan and was shocked to see him all drenched in blood and sweat. Zhehan was with him as well.

Zhan stumbled but Yibo supported him, "What happened? why are you here and why are you hurt? who did it?"

Zhan spoke, "We have to get away from here."

"What do you mean?" Yibo said and looked at Zhehan who answered, "The Queen has found out about the rebellion and she has already captured my master, she attacked your mansion as well and somehow we managed to come out alive, we need to run duke!"

Yibo felt like the ground under him had vanished and he was struck by thunder, "Simon...."

He said and was about to run to get back his son but Haoxuan grabbed him, "LET GO, MY SON IS IN THERE"

Haoxuan and Zhehan both grabbed him, as Hoaxuan spoke, " Duke please we need to go, we have to go!!"

"I am not leaving my son, no way."

Yibo said and fought harder. Haoxuan and Zhehan did their best to hold him back, "Go without me leave me."

Yibo said that his worries were eating him alive, however, Zhan came before and said, "Listen to me Yibo."

"No Zhan I..."

"I SAID LISTEN TO ME!" Zhan said, "If you go in there, you will die and so will Simon, but you know you will die a quick death or perhaps they will use you to make Simon willingly die.

They know that Simon is not on their side and he will not help them hence they are going to transform him into a weapon for which Simon has to surrender his soul and willingly die.

They will torture you in front of them, and perhaps torture Simon in front of you... Yibo we have worked hard and Simon will not like it if his plan fails.

They will not kill him, at least not till he surrenders, and don't forget Simon can heal faster than any of us hence he is safe and now we have to lead the rebellion. Before it's too late."

Yibo closed his eyes and clenched his fist, his jaws clenched before he said in his firm voice, "Okay... let's go."

When Yibo, opened his eyes they were murderous, they were sinister and the only thing he wanted was blood, the blood of the people who tried to harm his family.

They walked away from there but before that Zhan said, "We need to change our appearance. And reach the temple of Nirvana."

Wen Qing was trapped inside a small but cozy room.

She was in the Queen's garden and was heavily guarded. 

She sighed as she sat back, she hoped that Zhehan was safe and she also hope that others were also saved.

She suddenly heard some commotion from outside and she got up she went to the door and banged against it, "Open it!"

She said but who was she kidding, this was of no use but she had to do something she had to say something, or else she will go mad because of the silence.

After a few minutes of trying she sat back on the bed and thought about her next move, she has ahd been here before and so she knows the exit, but there can be hidden exits and passages that she has no ideas about, but if this place is like palace then it can help.

As she thought about the plans and everything she suddenly heard the door open she looked at the door and she expected her mother or maybe one of her guards to come.

But the one who came made her terrified and nauseated.

She kept her hand on her mouth and looked away.

There was Lilith, black hairs, pitch-black eyes with one red-eyed with a black pupil on her forehead and her pitch-black hands with a cluster of holes on her arms,

Now that Wen Qing sees her from close she can see how terrifying she is, this is a monster that her mother created.

"Hi..." her voice was deep almost demonic.

Lilith said as she moved towards Wen Qing and she moved back, "A..re you scared?"

Obviously, you monster

"Mother told me that you are my sister, It's nice to meet you... I have always been here and never been outside... the people who come here always due because they are food.

But you and that man you two are the only ones my mother takes care of..."

Wen Qing looked at her, or tried to look at her, why is she talking like this? she is a monster.

Wen Qing looked at her and this time she saw Lilith's body language, Lilith had her hands behind her back and her eyes down, she looked innocent.

She has been here since she was born so that means she has not seen the outside world then which means Lilith has no idea about the scheming, plotting, and anything.

She is just a child, isolated from the world and her sister.

Wen Qing slowly got up still feeling a little scared but she still spoke, "Hi..."

This made Lilith look at her with enthusiasm and this time she smiled Wen Qing had to close her eyes and look away because of how terrifying Lilith looked while smiling.

"Hi... What's your name? mother didn't tell me she only told me that you are my elder sister."

Wen Qing smiled forcefully, "My name is Wen Qing... and yeah nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"Can you tell me who was that man you were talking about?"

Lilith spoke, "His name was Cheng, ten years ago mother had bought him here and locked him in the dungeon I thought he was food but then mother said that he was her toy and he was precious to him.

So one day I was curious about him so I went to see him and he told me to free him he begged and pleaded I did it because I was curious about him he was the only person from the outside world who talked to me, but he ran away from here."

Wen Qing tried to digest the information, food... she thought Cheng was food but he was human... Wen Qing closed her eyes as she felt nauseated again.

But looks like Lilith is really innocent but her food is human meat. 

Wen Qing smiled forcefully again, "Lilith... can you help me get out of here too?"

Lilith's smile dimmed and she said, "No, I cannot... last time Cheng ran away and my mother scolded me a lot and told me to never do anything without her permission."

Wen Qing clenched her fist, she is terrified of Lilith but at the same time she feels somewhat sorry for her, and also her innocence touched her heart.

Is she really a monster or Cassandra?

"Well done Lilith," a third voice was heard and Cassandra walked in, "I see that you have taken my words seriously... I hope that you had a conversation with your sister right?"

"Yes, mother,"

"How is she? do you like her?"

"Yes  mother I like her a lot, she smiles at me and she is kind and she is so pretty."

Cassandra smiled at her and caressed her head, "Alright now go and  prepare food."

"Yes, mother."

"And Lilith your sister does not like slaves make her chicken or ducks okay?"

"Okay."

Lilith said and left.

And once she was gone Cassandra looked back at Wen Qing, "now let's have a mother-daughter talk shall we?"
