The two were still staring at each other before Zhan spoke, "What brings you here my lord, I hadn't expected meeting you here and in disguise."

Yibo sighed, refusing to back down, "As the one responsible for the northern region it is my responsibility to looks after my people."

Zhan spoke, "looks like you paid too much attention to your people and neglected your own son."

If looks could kill then Zhan would have been dead by now, Simon looked back and forth between them before Yibo sighed, "Let's go Simon."

"No father, stop." Simon said in his childish voice and Yibo listened as he looked at him, "What now?"

Simon gave him a small smile, "Father can this man come with us please."

Yibo kept on looking at his son, most people would look down or cower in fear when Yibo stared at them with his cold gaze and in the past, Simon would do the same but not anymore, "Pwease father."

"No." Yibo said as he looked at Zhan, "He is just a trouble a headache, nothing else,"

"But father he saved me, please, please please can we take him with us please."

"Simon I said and you are getting very stubborn nowadays."

Simion pouted, "Father...I am sick and what if I die aren't you going to fulfill my last wish."

"Don't talk nonsense Simon or else I am going to slap you really hard, even if you are sick." he is just bluffing, in reality, Yibo can never lay hand on his son, he just loves way too much to ever hurt him.

"Father please I am not going anywhere till he comes with us," Simon said and Yibi sighed while Zhan scoffed.

Yibo looked at him, "What's so funny?"

Zhan smirked, "Nothing Duke I am just saying that this is what happens when you spoil your child way too much."

 "Says the one who has never been a father."

The two glared at each other before Simon said to Zhan, "Mister can you come with us please."

Simon asked with hopeful eyes and almost pleading however Zhan looked at him with a straight face, "No."

Simon's face fell, "Why?" he asked in a timid voice and Zhan replied, "Because I don't like brats."

Yibo saw how his son's face fell and so he glared at Zhan, "Hey you, how dare you say no to my son, no one has the right to say no to him and he gets what he wants if he says he wants you to come then you will come."

"Father, I love you," Simon said and hugged his father but he sighed internally, no wonder why he was so spoiled in his last life, Yibi really does not know when to stop giving him whatever he wants.

Zhan rolled his eyes, this man has really spoiled his son way too much, and when Simon looked at him with a smile Zhan felt really annoyed at this little brat, he gets whatever he wants and then he starts acting spoiled.

Don't get him wrong Zhan has no problems with kids but he hates spoiled brats the most.

"My apologies duke but I am afraid I cannot come with you..."

Before Yibo could speak anymore, Simon spoke," please mister come with us, or is that you hate me."

Zhan looked at Simon and said, "Yes."

Simon posted and almost made a crying face and Yibo was going to explode with anger but before anyone could say anything Simon started violently coughing and this time once again there were patches of blood on his hands.

Yibo's heart clenched and Haoxuan wiped Simon's face while Zhan's eyes widened.

He quickly moved forward and asked, "What's wrong with him?"

Simon smiled and said, "I am going to die."

He said and Zhan looked at him with a somewhat shocked expression while Yibo glared at him, "Shut up Simon don't talk nonsense."

Simon smile internally of course this is nonsense he didn't get reborn just to die so easily.

"What's wrong with him?"

Zhan asked Yibo who shook his head, "We don't know the doctor was not able to find any problems with his body."

Zhan then looked at Simon and his pale face, "The is there something wrong with his internal energies? shouldn't you take him to temple."

Simon replied, "We are going to the temple."

Zhan frowned, "This was is not to the temple."

Simon smiled and signaled him to come closer and that's what Zhan did and Simon whispered, "We are going to the temple of nirvana."

Zhan looked at Yibo with more confusion, "Duke why are you playing with your son's health? I understand you have some complaints with the temple but is it worth putting your ego before your son's health?"

Zhan spoke firmly and almost yelled at his stupidity. And it was for obvious reasons because the temple of nirvana is nothing more than a ruin.

There is no human in that area, and moreover, that place is situated just beside the ocean, for the historical purpose, it's fine as it tells the story of the empire but other than that what was the use to go there?"

Yibo looked down, and couldn't say anything while Simon hugged his father, "Don't scold my father mister, I was the one who told him to take me to the temple."

Zhan sighed and kept his hand on his forehead, "Duke are you really listening to a child now, who has no idea what's right and what's wrong for him?"Zhan paused and sighed before he tried to take Simon, "If you can't duke then let me take him to the temple."

Yibo backed off and Simon sighed oh boy looks like he fucked up.

"Mister please come with us, temple of nirvana is not as bad as it seems."

"You shut up brat," Zhan said to him but his voice fell flat he couldn't be hard on a supposedly dying child.

If only Zhan knew why Yibo can't take his son to the temple.

Taking Simon to the temple is living handing over Simon to death, he already called the best doctors to look at his son but even if they couldn't do anything then the temple of Nirvana was his last choice.

"Let's go, Simon," Yibo said, he cannot tell Zhan anything he cannot tell anyone anything, not even his own son.

"MISTER PLEASE COME, MISTER PLEASE."

Simon saw his father's conflicted face and he could see the sadness in his eyes he also noticed how Zhan's hands were clenched as he was glaring at Yibo as if waiting for Yibo to stop and come back to him.

But in the end, none of them said anything to each other.

And Zhan walked the other way.

Idiots.

These two are such idiots. 

If only they had stringer communication in their last lives and probably they wouldn't have fallen so easily.

Lack of communication is a lack of trust and this happened with Simon as well Yibo never expressed himself in his last life and was never really vocal about his thoughts all this led Simon to think that Ybio was evil and he was keeping him away from his mother,  in this life Simon cannot let this happen.
