"Duke." Amias came in and Callum barked.

"WHAT!" he was still mad at the disrespect shown to him by Yibo and his son.

That bastard that spawn, Callum wanted to grab him and crush his neck and see him suffer like a chicken about to die.

"The duke of the north has sent you an invitation to join the hunt organized by count Ralf."

Callum snatched the invitation, and tore it open, "What the hell is he trying to do!!!"

"Are you going, duke?"

Calum threw the invitation on the ground. "That bastard has said that he will come to pick me up! How can I say no to such a powerful person?"

Amias looked down, "If you want I can tell him that you are sick."

"No, no, I had to meet him any way that day I wasn't able to talk to him because of that bastard child of his but not anymore."

"I will make the preparations," Amias said and left.

While Callum collapsed on the seat.

While Yibo was getting ready, Simon came into his room.

He had already read Yibo's mind so he knew where he was going.

'"Father."

"Yes."

"Father this is for you," Simon said and gave Yibo a small bottle.

Yibo sat down in front of him, "What is this?" he took the bottle and it was filled with red liquid Yibo's face became straight again when he saw what it was and he looked at Simon who had his hand at his back and smiled innocently.

"It will protect you."

Yibo sighed, he didn't really like using Simon's blood like this, "Simon... you will not waste your blood until and unless it's a life-threatening situation."

"But father it does not hurt and I can heal quickly."

"What I said you will follow that got it?"

Simon nodded and kissed Yibo on the cheek, "All the best."

Yibo finally smiled and ruffled his hair, "You better behave with your master."

"Yes, sir!"

Once Yibo reached outside Yanli was there, she was the one who will go with him.

While Haoxuan and Zhan were going to execute the plan and Cheng, well he had no interest to go out in broad daylight.

Yibo got on his horse and so did Yanli before he heard towards Callum's residence and once he reached over there, Callum was already ready and waiting for him.

"I am glad that you accepted my invitation duke Callum."

"How can I say no to you duke of the south. and my greetings to marchioness Yanli," Callum said and bought his wife and children forwards, "meet my wife, and my daughter Mia and my son Santos."

The two children greeted him and Yibo gave them a small nod, "shall we go, duke Callum?"

"Sure."

 Callum soon departed with Yibo and while on their way Callum spoke, "Duke during our hunting competition I heard that you were attacked by the bandits I am sorry for what happened, and thank god the first princess saved you."

Yibo smiled, "You don't have to worry about that, Duke Callum."

Callum nodded and he glanced at Yibo's hand, "How is your hand?"

"Oh perfectly fine, I was really injured by the bandits thankfully I survived."

Callum nodded and smiled maybe Yibo does not know about the poison but how is it possible didn't the doctor tell him?

What was going on?

While he was in his thoughts he didn't realize that he had already reached the destination.

Count Ralf and his son welcomed him and thankfully Dennis and his son were there as well.

Aval the target he seemed to dislike this event and was forced by his father.

"Greeting Duke and Marchioness."  They said Yanli and Yibo also greeted them back.

Alice and Aval the two people that Yibo wanted to bring on his side greeted him as well.

Alice and Aval both had huge respect for Yibo. His sincerity and his bravery and the power that he held were impressive and unlike their parents, he treated everyone equally.

They also greeted Yanli with respect the power and respect that she held was immense

Yibo smiled at them, "It is an honor to meet you two I have heard a lot about you."

Alice smiled, "honor is ours, Duke."

Fabian Ralf's son and the prey interrupted them his arrogant attitude and rude behavior made Alice and Aval scowl, "It's nice to meet you duke my father used to send you so many invitations I am glad you finally accepted one, I think you are finally bored after isolating yourself."

Yibo nodded and smiled at the arrogant bastard, "And your son... what was his name? Sim? Simo?

"Simon," Alice said firmly.

Yibo smiled, "Thank you, miss."

Fabian scoffed, "Yeah whatever, I heard he is being taught by a mad man?"

Alice and Aval were irritated now while Yibo just let this glutton speak. After all, it was his last day.

However, their talk didn't last long when Ralf ordered his servants to bring the slaves, Alice and Aval's smile vanished and disdain covered their faces.

When they saw the slaves they felt bad for those slaves and wanted to help them.

Ralf spoke, "The game of the rules is simple."

But Yanli interrupted him, "How about we change the rules today?"

Ralf's son Fabian spoke, "But how, the rules have always been the same."

Yibo added, "Actually, I recently did that with Duke Callum it's actually quite fun! the rules are simple let's divide two teams one that will hunt the slaves and the one that will save them.

If after two hours the number of slaves saved is higher than the number of slaves dead then naturally the other teams win and vice-versa. The slaves that we save will have a cloth around their hand and will be sent out. of the forest."

Ralf and the others looked at each other wanting to protest, but before they can Alice spoke, "I agree I will be in Duke of North's team."

Aval spoke, "Same goes with me."

Yanli was already standing beside Yibo.

While Ralf, Dennis, Philip and Fabian are on one side.

The only one remaining was Callum, "I will be on Count Ralf's team."

"Release the slaves. " Ralf ordered and Fabian and others smirked he was determined to defeat Yibo.

After five minutes everyone ran inside the forest.

Everyone was in full form, they were determined to defeat the other team. 

Fabian smirked when he saw two slaves together a pregnant woman and her husband he got his bow ready and shot at the woman but his arrows were hit by a rock and fell to the ground.

Furious Fabian looked at the person and it was Ynali who smirked and tied the cloth around the slaves and the guard took them out.

Alice and Aval also found many slaves and send them out. 

While Ralf and his team mercilessly killed the begging and crying slaves while laughing mercilessly.

After one and a half-hour of the competition when more than half of the salves were either dead or saved, they reached the end of the competition.

With all of them going after the remaining slaves.

A father and his son were trying to escape, terrified, starving, and dehydrated, the father's foot was injured while the child was hungry and would definitely die if he got no food.

The father walked extremely slowly so as to make no noise, but alas the luck was not on his side.

"Found ya!"

"Found ya!"

Dennis's cold voice and his sickening voice gave him chills and like everyone, the slave went to his knees and cried, this was the end, this was the end. At the same time, Yanli also came there.

Dennin and his entire team came to the scene.

And so did Yanli's.

Dennis smirked, "Marchioness Yanli... I am the one who found them first."

"That seems to be a misunderstanding Duke," Yanli spoke.

"Of course."

"Of course it is."

Aval spoke, "This seems to be a tie."

"Then how are we decide who won?" Fabian asked

Callum smirked and took out his bow and arrows, "I will shoot them, if Marchioness can save them why not."

Yanli nodded, "Bring it on duke."

Callum shot two arrows and so did Yanli, one arrow hit one of Callum but missed the other one, but before the arrow can hit the father Yibo's dagger collided with it and this saved the slaves.

Callum looked at him and he clarified, "We are a team, Duke."

The time ended as well.

Fabian spoke, "Let's go and count the number of slaves."

Everyone agreed however before anyone could move an arrow that came from out of nowhere hit Fabian right in the chest piercing his heart.

"FABIAN!"Ralf spoke and the other's eyes widened however Fabian fell on the ground lifeless.

And out of nowhere, the bandits jumped into the scene grief-stricken Ralf didn't pay attention and so he was beheaded by a bandit that none other than Zhan.

The bandits attacked Yibo and his team as planned but surprisingly no one came after Callum and Dennis and when they accidentally came in front of the bandits, the bandits actually bowed in front of them that Alice and Aval noticed. And eve Philip was attacked because he was attacked despite being one of the supporters.

Aval who was Dennis's son was shocked.

However, the bandits fought them for some time injured Alice, and ran away.

Leaving behind a very terrified Callum and Dennis and shocked Alice and Aval.

"I will go after them," Yibo said along with Yanli.

"What was that? Dad?" Aval asked while Dennis spoke, "go back."

"But dad,"

 "I said go back both of you!!!"

Without any more argument Aval and Alice went back but what they saw today shook them
