I could have stayed there in his arms all night, but something told me to break away, so I did. He looked concerned, but I reassured him with a smile and wordlessly waved goodbye. Even though I knew I should go, I wanted to stay in the moment a few seconds more. I turned back surprised to see that he was still watching me; his eyes sparkling and affixed to my face, and hands stuffed in his pockets. I held his gaze for a moment longer, but then I heard shrieking. My eyes darted in every direction looking for trouble. Then I heard someone behind me scream,

"There he is!" In an instant, girls were pushing and shoving past me, and I was knocked to the ground. Being well practiced in quick get aways, Michael had already outrun the girls in hot pursuit. Without notice, our moment was over, and I thought,

"What have I gotten myself into?" I went inside of my gates, unable to see Michael past the crowd of girls any longer. When I got back to my room, I saw that my purse had fallen on the floor, and all its contents splayed about. As I was filling it back up, I picked up the movie ticket stubs from "The Exorcist" last week with Nelson. All of the sudden, all memory came flooding back to me, and I realized the dilemma I was in. What was I going to say about my date with him this Saturday?
