He cleared his throat nervously,

"This is Michael actually... my walkie talkie ran out of batteries. " I was surprised to get a call from him, especially after how I acted earlier. I became very apologetic,

"Oh! I'm so sorry, I thought it was... my sister told me... I didn't think it was you... sorry about that." Jeez I sounded like a fool, tripping over my words like that. He didn't seem to notice and asked,

"How are you?"

"I'm alright... Michael, I want to tell you something."

"Ok. Go ahead."

"...I'm so sorry for the way that I acted earlier. I was out of line. I shouldn't have-" He cut me off mid sentence to say,

"No, you do not need to apologize. You had every right, and that's what I called to talk to you about." I was silent, but he still continued,

"Would you meet me outside?"

"Oh," I was not sure about what he wanted to talk to me about, but he deserved my cooperation,

"Ok, can I come down right now?"

"Yes. I'll be waiting for you." He said whimsically. We said goodbye, and I booked downstairs, determined to beat him out, but when I reached the street, he was already there.

"Hey." He said, looking at me intently.

"Hi." I averted my eyes from his stare.
