I sat through the meeting with CBS silently. I could not help but think about what I had done to her. She was so angry and what she said hurt. But, she doesn't even know that I have been on such a tight leash since that night on the roof. I can't take a breath without Joseph knowing first. And to see her with him! I felt a frown drag across my face. I was shaking with my anger. Tito nudged me and mouthed,

"You okay?" I guess I had been smoldering, and staring off into the distance for too long. I nodded yes, and within minutes, the meeting was over. I wondered what else she and Nelson were doing. They looked happy coming out of the studio. Was she signed to CBS? Or was he? And who was that other man with them? Why was she there by herself? So many questions were running through my head. I finally concluded that I would talk to her tonight. I don't care if she is still angry with me, I have to do something. She thinks that I forgot about her when thoughts about her crisscrossed in my mind and crashed into each other. Tonight I'll make sure that she knows.
