Bina POV

"I don't think that he's coming." Asha said to me. Nelson was already here, in fact he arrived early, but Michael wasn't. I called, but no one answered.

"Maybe he's out. He wouldn't do this intentionally, he probably forgot." My sister said trying to comfort me. I hadn't noticed that I was desperately nibbling on my thumbnail, and now it was a stub. Asha noticed though,

"Jeez you must really be nervous. You never bite your nails," She whispered and then grabbed my hands.

"C'mon, let's start the movie." I took one last look out of the window before obeying her command. We walked back to the theater and found Nelson in the small lobby equipped with a drink and candy.

"Where's Mike?" He asked.

"He's a no show." His expression was almost imperceptible, but beneath the flash of surprise I saw a hint of satisfaction and then feigned disappointment. We got our candy, and as we took our seats, my father started the film. Nelson sat in between Asha and I, and got comfortable putting his arms around us. As I sat there, I couldn't focus. I wondered if I did something wrong, because our last encounter was quite awkward at times. I sighed and just let it go. Michael York and Liza Minnelli danced across the screen, scene after scene, but that didn't catch my attention. We were a third of the way through the movie when I felt a hand on mine. I turned and saw Nelson, smiling at me and blushing. I didn't want to admit it, but it felt nice having him admire me and look at me the way he did. But then there was this nagging feeling that I ignored that said,

"You wish it wasn't him..."
