I will always love you chapter: 39 Bina POV

"So..." I said, looking a little confused.

"So won't you feel a bit awkward, you know, that I invited him over with Michael coming?"

"What's a little bit of awkward if it pulls you out of the dumps huh?" She laughed.

"Thanks Bina."

"No problem Asha-Kash." That was her nickname since we were little. It just stuck for some reason. The TV finally warmed up and I knelt down beside it to turn the dial. I flipped past 2 news channels, a rerun of "Maude" and a rerun of "Good Times." Asha had already finished her cereal by the time I flipped through all 13 channels.

"Do you wanna take a walk instead?" I asked her.

"Yeah, 13 channels and nothing's on, sheesh!" After we got ready I creeped into my parents room. Their loud snores indicated that they were in deep sleep.

"Mom, Dad." I whispered loudly.

"Uh huh..." They said in sleepy tones.

"Me and Asha are going for a walk okay?"

"Yeah sure..." My dad said while turning away from me. They both started to snore again. Asha and I started down the block towards the stores. But when we turned the corner, we saw Nelson walking in our direction.
