I will always love you chapter: 34 Michael POV

"Oh no..." I breathed feeling my skin grow hot and prickly. Joseph wasn't looking at me initially, but he slowly directed his gaze from the floor to my face.

"Well boy... What are YOU thinking about doing on Saturday?"

"I... It's just some friends were going to the movies and I was invited. It's after rehearsals so it won't be interfering with my work."

"Hmm... I'll let you know when you can go out. You should have asked me first, but I'll get to that later." He said, then got up and approached me to say,

"Now about this girl. You know the deal." His grey blue eyes piercing into mine making my muscles weak. I know what he is talking about. The pact to not get involved, but that is only for girls who interfere with work. It is agreed that we won't let the girls get in the way, but 3 of my brothers already broke the pact. He started to chuckle with a slight tone of amusement and then said,

"If she is just a place to sew your oats, then by all means... do. It's about time you become a man." His statement disgusted me. If that is what his idea of a man is then he can count me out. I am a gentleman. But I cannot say that.

"Yeah..." I replied to him in a squeak, I didn't agree but I didn't want to disagree because I already had enough trouble. He grinned at me and then said,

"That's all this little fling will ever amount to." Raising his eyebrows and motioning to the window. It was sort of a question, but I did not respond. He patted my back and said,

"Get some sleep, I'm taking you somewhere tomorrow." 'Oh Gosh' I thought and tried to gulp down that lump in my throat. I hope he isn't trying to teach me the 'game.' He left my room and shut the door. I smothered my face with my sheets and then exhaled out of relief and then distress.

"Just when I find someone I like..." I crawled beneath the sheets and fell asleep.
