It's passing time, Mai and her friends are walking to their next class. Pilaf started blabbing about his "successful" ideas of how to be the ruler of the world even though his ideas are stupid and will ended to be complete failure. "I am gonna start by hiring some henchmen" Pilaf said. "I don't want to be rude but how your gonna find some people that would be loyal to someone whose plans will end up into disaster like always" said Mai. "Hey! I know this time I will achieve and will finally would rule the world and be rich than everyone would obey me! Me! King Pilaf!" Said Pilaf as he raise both his arms up in confident. "Isn't that what you exactly said about taking over the school?" Said Shu. Mai laughed, "Yes he did then he ended in the trashcan." "Can you guys at least be supportive for once" Pilaf growled. "No offense but I wouldn't support someone who has the stupidest plan like taking over the world with no skills or knowledge" said Mai. "It's okay Pilaf, maybe someday you'll take over the world when your plan finally succeed" Shu patted Pilaf's back, smiling. Pilaf growled, "W-why you!" Pilaf grabbed his textbook than throw it at Shu, but Shu dodge it. The textbook end up hitting Black's head. Pilaf got terrified than hid behind his friends, "uh...g-guys help me.." Black rubbed his head than pick up the textbook. "Okay whose the funny guy that throw this book at me?" Black said in Anger. Black look at the three group and saw one small guy, hiding behind his two friends. "Are you the one who threw this book at me?" Said Black to Pilaf as he walking towards them.
"Y-you g-guys...." Pilaf stammered as he hiding in fear behind Mai and Shu. Black stop in front of Mai and Shu. "Move now, so I can beat this midget up" said Black in a angry tone. "It was an Accident, he didn't mean too." Said Mai in a softest and gentle tone. "Shut up" said Black. Pilaf step out behind them and laughing nervously, "yeah it's true Im so sorry I-it was an accident...it was supposed to go to this idiot *points at Shu* but he dodge it and....land...it...to you. So let's shake on it haha..." Pilaf smile nervously at Black than raise his hands up to shake his hand but Black doesn't give a damn of what he said. "I don't care all I know is that your gonna get beaten." "Black, please leave him alone. He said he was sorry. Can we please move on and forget this happen" Mai said politely. But Black ignores her. Black smirked than raised his fist up to punch him but Mai grabbed his wrist. "I said...leave him alone..." Mai looked at him. "He apologized to you so you shouldn't hit him" said Mai seriously. Everyone stares at them and shocked how Mai is brave enough to stop Black by holding his wrist. No one had ever stand up against Black before. Black turned his head slightly to Mai meeting her gaze. He yank his hand from her, "Who said you, girl" Black said in a deep tone. "And who said you can hit my friend after he apologizes to you so please leave him alone " Mai in a almost softest tone. Black chuckles, "That's hilarious well if I were you I would leave before you get hurt." "I am not scared of you, Black. I am not gonna let someone like you hurt my friend" mai said. Black look at her, "You can't even fight back. You can Stand up for others but you won't put up to a fight because your afraid." Mai's eyes widened a bit than looks down. Black turns around to beat Pilaf, but Mai throw her book at his head. Everyone gasped in surprise. Pilaf and Shu never seen Mai behave like that before. Black stopped for a second than turned around, "Why you little...." Black was stopped my Zamasu, "Don't waste your time on her, let's this slide for once. Class will start any minute we don't want to be late." Black sighs and looks at Pilaf, "You are lucky but next time you won't be given mercy..." Said Black In a serious tone. He looks back at Mai with a serious face, "Same with you..." then left along with Zamasu. Everyone was surprise at the situation that they were seeing than left to class. Mai look at Black for a moment than Shu interrupt her thoughts, "Mai! Are you alright? That was the most scary thing you did." Said Shu worried. "No the better question is that are you stupid!? What were you thinking you could have been hurt from him? Don't you know what would he do to you if he haven't give us mercy!?" Pilaf shouted angrily. "Well I'm sorry but I just save your butt before he beats you! You wanted me to simply stand there and do nothing while he beating you up!?" Mai shouted back at him. Pilaf's eyes wide open of how Mai speak to him like that. The bell ring. "You guys get to class before you guys are mark tardy" said Mai, calming herself down than walk straight to her class. "Wait Mai!" Pilaf shouted at Mai but she didn't respond back. "Come on Pilaf lets go, she probably needs some alone time." Said Shu. Pilaf and Shu went to their class and still shock of how Mai reacted. As Mai walking to class, tears are pouring down to her cheek.
