This version of "I Was Owen Stewart" is a major revision of the original story that was posted.  The plot is all the same but some parts have been polished up, and some of the areas that were glossed over in the original have been extended.

I want to thank all those who commented and critiqued this little story.  By letting me see it through your eyes, you helped me understand it far better than I ever did on my own.  I sincerely hope that the version up here now, demonstrates the lessons I learned and improves the experience of reading it.  I could never have come up with this without you.

I plan to develop more stories to add to the Times of New Hollywood anthology.  To date I have four works in progress, but I’m having a tough time figuring out their individual plots, although the larger story arc is starting to come into focus.

I am completely open to suggestions or requests. So if there is something you would like to see in the upcoming books, comment or p.m. me.

In recent months, I've had a few new people read this now old story and wonder when will there be a second part. Unfortunately, nothing has materialized for me in the New Hollywood world. The problem consistantly becomes that I get ideas for characters or concepts but no strong stories. I always felt there were more tales to be told here, but maybe I was wrong. Although, if given the opportunity (that is if I get the time) I plan to give this an overhaul and clean up what I've written.  Perhaps emersing myself back in the canals and waterways will help spark some new ideas.  Until that day...
