"i can't be with you! you're so depressing" Nick said to the girl, who was making herself smaller "you-you said you would help me i--"

Nick groaned "well i guess i cant! i gotta focus on soccer and you're being a horrible girlfriend! no ones gonna like you-"

"that's enough Nick" Matt mumbled, leading y/n away

"n-no hes..hes right i..i i am depressing"

"see! all she ever talks about is her brother and how she misses him. she told me she hurts herself and that its her fault, good for her"

by now y/n had tears in her eyes and Matt had his back towards her, shielding her from her boyfriend "Nick! stop it. what the hell happened to you man?"

he shrugged in response "whatever. i'll see you guys around"

"hey..y/n you okay?" Matt turned towards her "y-yeah.. all, all the things he said they-" "they're wrong. you don't deserve to be treated like that."

y/n shrugged "but-"

"no buts here y/n. someone will love you, and it's not him. i know you feel this..this love for him, but he's not the one. i'll help you okay. and you have Ned. you'll be okay, you'll be loved i promise." he turned her arm over to show her, her wrist "see.time is still ticking" she nodded as he helped her up

"come on, Neds been waiting for you and he's pretty worried"

"y/n! that bastard-uh.. s-sorry" Matt shook his head "Nicks a dick, we'll get him out of your life"

--next day--

"Hey y/n, hi Matt" Ned smiled, taking a seat next to y/n on the bench "look at this my girlfriends cheating on me with 2 guys" Nick said with an eye roll

"do you know what a whore is y/n?" she felt the tears "oh my god you're crying again"

"i swear to God Nick leave her the hell alone" Matt muttered, as he placed an arm around y/n trying desperately to calm her down.

"whatever.. i'm captain!" Nick turned away from the 3 then ran to his other friends.

"working outside" Nick said, pulling y/n's arm, Matt saw this and told his partner, Miguel that they should also work outside. Miguel knew how he treats her, so he agreed.

"why are you out here too?" Nick asked, placing his book full of supplies down

"too loud inside" Miguel replied, doing the same.
the project was finished early, Nick was sitting there, muttering insults at y/n as she glanced down at the supplies, she saw the scissors and slowly picked them up, examining them and lightly pressing it to her exposed skin on her wrist "Nick! you're girlfriend is--"

"i don't care. she can do what she wants" he rolled his eyes, Matt got up quickly and took the scissors from her, getting her out of this trance she was in

"you're an asshole Nick" Miguel said, then they got called in for carpet reading time (head ass we had this in 5th grade and it was the dumbest thing but oh well,i'm in 11th now)
Miguel took the spot in front of y/n, Matt sat to her left and Ned to her right, making Nick scoff and sit next to Miguel. Miguel looked to y/n the lied down on her crossed legs, Nick angrily stood up and went to sit next to Maddie, one of y/n's friends who was also one of the girls that was also head over heels for the boy.

then came desk moving, y/n, Matt and Ned moved their desks together with y/n in the middle. Nick was tired of this.

"y/n let's talk" he said, as they got their stuff and began to walk

"about what?.."

"i'm sorry okay i just.. i feel like Matt and Ned are taking you away from me, you're my girl. not theirs, and i only say the stuff i say because i love you"

y/n knew that everything Nick had just said was all lies, what did they know about love in 5th grade anyways? but she was blinded by his words

"yeah..yeah, i get it, i'm sorry too" Nick smiled and hugged her. y/n can just hear Ethan telling her to stop this shit relationship they had. to break up with him to save herself but Nick helped her get well known at school, she could've easily done that herself of course, everyone loves her, especially because of her older brothers reputation. but Nick brought her to the spotlight and she felt she need to thank him by staying with him. she was blinded by the love she felt for him. blinded by everything he said, she thought no one else would love her, despite what Ned and Matt say.y/n was in deep. much too deep and she can't get out.

so not long, not short but hey its here rightttt... anywhore all this was taken from real life, from me. and yeah my dumb ass was 'dating' in the 5th grade, y/n's dating stories from the past are based on mine and, gosh darn am i an idiot.
