Tony Stark called Peter Parker to the avengers new facility to talk about suit updates and told him to come at 5 o'clock sharp.

so he got here at 4:30.

"hello Peter" an automated voice said "oh..uhrm.. hi?"

"Mr. Stark said you'd get here at 5. he's in a call right now" Peter still had no idea where the voice was coming from "oh that's.. that's okay."

"feel free to take a look around. Mr. Stark said he'll be out in a bit" he was confused. how did the voice know that Mr. Stark would be done soon? oh well.

~sorry Peter, Ms. M was being a dick in pre-cal today and decided to give us more homework than usual because we aren't 'focused enough'~

~because the class average was 95% 'it should've been 98%' ugh. she's the worst.. oh! and speaking of Ms. M, she's wondering where you are! I'm running out of excuses for you Parker~

Peter smiled. he was happy that she was helping him out. ~I don't think she's gonna believe you got a cold and staying home for 8 weeks~

Peter continued walking around, passing doors that were closed. until he got to Tony's office. "how's y/n?" he asked.. that's weird.. maybe it's a different y/n.

"well you know Amy, she's still my daughter. you've been updating me when she didn't know it was me." he sighed

"..is she still upset?" silence.

"right.. she met her soulmate already. what's his name again?" Tony stood up, making the chair he was sitting on bang the desk behind him "Peter Parker?!"

Peter jumped and ran to the other side of the hallway, hiding behind the corner "I.. gotta go. I have a meeting. I'll call you back later" assuming he ended the call, Peter began walking again. like he wasn't here before. "h-hi mister Stark" mentally cursing himself for stuttering. "alright kid" he sighed

"how much of it did you hear?" he decided to just gonna play it off as if he don't know what he's talking about.. yeah.

"I..I don't know what you mean.." Mr. Stark sighed again and brought up his arm, clicking a few buttons on his watch and popped up was a hologram of Peter standing outside of his door. "uh..." he beckoned to his office so they both walked in, he motioned for peter to sit down, so he did. "so.. what you heard." Tony began, pinching the bridge of his nose. "its uh..I.."

"you can't tell her,anyone in fact"

"wait what?!" how could I not tell her "

mister Stark she's literally in my head!" Peter pointed to the side of his head "and.. if she already doesn't know by now, it might slip out! I..I can't keep a secret from her even if i wanted to" "well. you gotta try then don't you?" Peter sighed. "yeah.. yeah. I guess so." he looked down at the ground

"alright. let's talk about your suit" Tony said, snapping him out of it.

she sighed,"okay. look, I can't be mad at you forever..I'm sorry"

Peter forced a smile "it's. fine really. I deserved it. you being mad at me."

he looked up at her "did you.. hear that?."

"no. I think it's best we try and stay out of each others heads at school. keep focus you know" she nodded

"yeah.. but why did you-"

"because I said your name like 5 times and class is about to start"

"oh, here" she handed him a stack of papers "homework."

by lunch, he just felt a pull. "y/n, can we talk?" she nodded, following him into an empty classroom
