4 years Later
"Roshaan...stop there..Arey stop..." Roshini is running behind her 4 year old son with the plate of food in her hand.
"Rosh..I am getting angry..stop kid ..why are you so stubborn? Eat atleast some food.." Roshini was shouting while sweating.

Roshaan climbed over the window.
"Now...mamma can't catch me.." Roshaan said excitedly.
"If you fall from there, your bones will break...come here..eat this" Roshini said looking at her son who is not listening to her.
"I will eat from pappa hand..Today Roshaan's pappa will come..."he laughed.
"He will come only in the evening..now eat this and you can take dinner from Pappa's hand.."she said.
"Nooooo" he shouted.

Suddenly someone caught him and picked him in her hands. She made him sat on the sofa.
"Grandma..you cheated me..you are on mamma's side..I won't talk to you.."Roshan complained for which Srividya laughed.

"Roshini..you are already late for school...Go and get ready...I will feed him.. give it to me.." Srividya said and Roshini handed over the plate to her.
"I will also help.." another voice came and it was Daya.
"Dayamaa.I won't talk to you too..see..I will tell pappa about you both..." Roshaan pouted taking the food from his grandma.

"Let me see now how you would escape from your two grandmas.."Roshini giggled while walking to her room.

She entered into the room and took her phone from table. She opened the unread messages.

"good morning ROSE"
"HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MY DEAR ANGEL😘😘"
"Didn't wake up till now?"
"Did Rosh wake up?"
"Flight is at 3pm...I will be there before you return from school...Missed you both.."
"Why no reply? Where is Rosh..?"

She smiled reading each msg.
Then she typed the reply.
"I was running behind your son.. Getting ready...And I will be here when you reach..half day leave..take care and we are waiting for you ...I LOVE YOU REYHAAN and HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY" she send the reply and rushed to the washroom after taking her clothes.

After 10 minutes she came out and checked his reply.
"Love you too...😘😘"
She placed the phone on her bag and dried the hairs. She moved infront of mirror and applied vermillion on her forehead along with a small bindi. She hurriedly took her things and placed it in her bag and rushed out of the room.

"Roshini..wait..I will take your lunch.."Dayamaa said.
"No Dayamaa...Today I am on half day leave..Will be here for lunch.." she said moving towards the hall and saw Abhi and Rithu bhabhi playing with Roshaan.
"Rose..."Abhi ran towards her and kissed her. She kissed her back.
"When did you come?" She asked.
"Just now.."Abhi said and went back to continue her play.
"How are you bhabhi?" She asked looking at Rithika.
"Fine.."she replied giving a look to Roshini.
"Ok mom.. Dayamaa..I am going..Take care of Rosh.." she moved towards her son and kissed him. He waved at his mom.

"Roshini.. driver will pick you back..call him when you return" Srividya said.
"Ok mom...bye" she entered into the car and driver started it.

Roshini's PoV
4 years has changed us a lot.. Roshaan became the new heartthrob of our home. Mom has retired from all her works and gave full responsibility to Reyhaan. She always say that she is enjoying the role of a grandmother now a lot. And Dayamaa is always with us as a shadow. Mom has started a new school and I started working there as a teacher. I am loving this new role and addicted to it. Abhi used to visit us now a days. She is the best friend and loving elder sister for Rosh. Rithika bhabhi slowly started melting. Even though we won't talk a lot, we exchange a few words without any hesitation or hateness. Time can heal every would. Apart from bhabhi I don't have any connection with my old family. Ria is married and settled in London with her husband. Initially she had problems with me. But gradually she started accepting and loving me. She is my good sister now. It's her who wished me wedding anniversary first in the morning.

Today is our wedding anniversary. Years passed faster, but his love never ended. During our wedding time he told me that he will give all happiness to me except a family. But now he given me the love of a whole family which I never experienced before. I don't know how a man can love his wife this much. He is the gift god has given me for all my sufferings. He is at Banglore for last one week for some business purpose. Today evening he will return back. I missed him a lot. So as Roshaan too. We are waiting for him. Life is blank whenever he is not with us. I love you Reyhaan more than you can imagine.

At Evening
Reyhaan returned back after his one week of business trip. He had missed his family a lot. From the moment he entered the house, Roshaan was not leaving him and Abhi too took the charge. He spent time by playing with them. He gave them the gifts he have bought from Bangalore. All the time Roshini was busy in kitchen preparing something special for her husband for dinner. It's their wedding anniversary too. Dayamaa was helping her and his mom spent time with him enquiring about the business meetings. Both Roshini and Reyhaan is trying hard to find a way to talk with each other. They wanted to melt in each other's embrace and share how much they missed each other. But the atmosphere created by their family is not allowing them for that.

"Mom..I had to check a mail..Let me check where I had placed my phone." Reyhaan excused his mom and walked towards their room. He didn't forget to steal a glance of his wife who is busy in kitchen. He straightly entered his room and started thinking for a way.

"Roshini...."she heard her husband's call from their room. It made a smile on her face.
"Roshini..go and check what he wants.."Dayamaa said and she nodded.

She walked to the room and didn't see anyone there. Suddenly she felt a pair of hands across her waist wrapping her from behind. And the door closed behind them. She felt his breathe on her neck followed by his nose.

"Reyhaan.."she called and he closed his eyes saving her voice.
"Roshini..."he kissed her neck.
She moaned making him crazy.
"Reyhaan..I.."she couldn't complete her sentence because of the pleasure he is giving her.
"Happy Anniversary madam.."he said turning her to him. He cupped her face and kissed her forehead. She hugged him and he hugged her back.

"Roshini..."They heard Dayamaa calling from kitchen and she quickly pulled away from him. But he hold her wrist.

"What's this? Am I not allowed to spend sometime with my wife ..I am seeing you after one week..and see what all are doing to us.."he complained for which she giggled.

"My husband...Pls wait for some more hours..the night is all ours.."she said kissing his cheek and ran away escaping from his hold. He smiled thinking about the meaning of her words.

At Night
Finally she get freed from her all works and got sometime to spend with her husband. She became happy and excited. She went towards their room and found him standing on balcony with their sleeping son on his shoulders. She walked towards him without making any noise so that their son won't wake up. She hugged Reyhaan from back and caressed Roshaan's hair with one hand.

"So finally you got some time for your poor husband."he smiled.
"You are the who didn't have time for your wife and son..it's been one week you went away.." she said and he turned back to face her.
"Dont start again... my complaint box.. Atleast for today..it's our wedding anniversary.."he said

She pouted. Reyhaan was about to say something when Roshini covered his mouth with her palm.

"Shhhh... don't wake him up.. go and lay him on bed..go" she said.
He walked towards the bed and made him lay on bed. He covered him with the blanket and returned to Roshini who is enjoying the moon view from balcony. He wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled his nose on her shoulders. She felt tickling.

"So where is my wedding anniversary gift?" She asked and he looked at her in wonder.
"Seriously do you want gift? I don't have one..and if you want I can give you one gift..but if I start making it now, it will be ready on our next anniversary only.."he said and she was confused with his words.

"What gift are you saying about?" She asked.
"A gift like him.."he said pointing towards their son who is sleeping on bed.
She blushed hearing it and turned her face away.
"You are very bad.."she said trying to hide her smile.
"But I have a good wife."he said again hugging her from back.
"Wait.... This time I have a gift for you.."she said and it was a surprise for him.

She moved away from him and slowly moved towards the wardrobe. She took something out from it and returned to him. He was impatiently waiting to see her gift.

"What's it?" He asked carefully looking on something she is hiding at her back.
"What's the hurry?" She asked raising her brows.
He couldn't wait anymore to see her gift. He quickly took her hand and snatched the thing from her.

He was amazed seeing it. It was an handkerchief with a beautiful design. On the center of it, it is stitched as I LOVE YOU REYHAAN.

"Did you stitch it?" He asked and she nodded.
He hugged her in happiness and kissed her shoulder.
"Thank you..it's superb..." He said moving away and kissing her forehead.
"Seeing you with this happiness.. Thats all I want.." she took the handkerchief from his hand and folded it. Then she placed it in his pocket. He smiled.

"Now get ready for my gift.." he said and she looked at him confusingly.
"But you said you have no gift." She rolled her eyes.
"I planned it as a surprise..but seeing your gift, I can't hide it anymore.."he said.
"What's that?" She asked.
"I have planned a party tomorrow evening..our wedding anniversary special party.."he said and she smiled.
"I know it's nothing compared to your gift...but.." he was stopped by her finger on his lips.
"You have given me enough Reyhaan which I can't return back with this life.."she said emotionally.
"I don't want anything Roshini except your.."
"Selfless Love" she completed his words.
He laughed.
"Yes..I WANT YOUR SELFLESS LOVE... thats all..."they hugged each other feeling all their love.

Sometimes we want only one person in our life who can love us selflessly. Their journey continues with the little token of their Selfless Love.

It was an amazing experience writing this story. Eventhough the story is short, each and every chapter got amazing response. And coming to the characters, Roshini and Reyhaan are some exceptional people in our society. I didn't portrayed every woman in this world are weak and suffering like Roshini. Hardly one or two Roshinis can be find among hundred.  But if those two get support from someone like Reyhaan, they can surely be the new strong Roshini.. Reyhaan is also a rare character. Dont expect every man in this world as sweet and loving like Reyhaan. But every girl wants someone like him.
