Chapter 8

It's 7:30 am in the morning. Both of the brothers already woke up from their bed. Ice is getting ready at the bathroom, as his first class today will be on sharp nine. After he prepared the breakfast for both of them, Fire stepped out to the balcony. He laid his arms on the railings of the balcony and his eyes look up to the view in front of him.

"Damn. Nothing to see here. Only parking lot and... Cars.", he murmur.

Before he get bored and wanted to get inside, he saw a black car that looks somehow familiar at the parking lot.

"Huh? Isn't that the car from last night?", he monologue.

Fire recalled the last night memory, where he saw his brother came out from the car. He remember it well. Even it's quite dark he still recognized it.

Right on the moment, suddenly there's a knock on the door. Fire quickly ran to the main door. He open the door to see an unfamiliar face.

"Hello.", the guy greets.

"Hello. May I help you?", Fire asked.

"Er.. Sorry. Wrong room.", he said.

"Oh. Okay."

The guy was about to leave when suddenly he saw Ice standing behind Fire. He smile immediately.

"Wait. I think this is the right room.", he suddenly stop Fire from closing the door.

Fire frowned. He noticed the guy's eyes was attached to the person behind him. He looked at Ice who's already looking with eyes widely open, to the person outside their room.

Fire's eyes were stick to the guys who're now sitting at the table. Meanwhile himself on the bed. He wonder who is him. How can Ice never tell him that he has another friend.

Ice glanced at his brother. From the face, he know Fire had so many questions in his head now. Ice gave a sign to Fire to leave them for a while but the younger refuses.

"Go.", Ice asked.

"Okay! Okay! Where do you want me to go?", Fire asked.

"Not inside here. Go."

Fire groan then leave. He went downstairs to wait at the lobby.

"What's so important that he don't want me to know what they're talking about?", he said while stepping on the stairs lazily.

"Is that your little brother?", Daw asked with interest.

Ice lifted his eyebrow. "Why are you here?", he asked instead of answering Daw's question.

"Picking you up to the university.", Daw replied.

"No need. I'll go with Top."

"Please~ come with me. Okay?", He asked. but Ice shook his head in protest.

Daw pursed his lips. what was so hard for him to persuade Ice to go with him?

"Go with me or I will not leave this room.", He threatened. Ice looked at him annoyed.

Ice shook his head several times before getting up from his seat.

Daw is indeed a troublesome. Can I kick him in the face?

Ice took the bag and started wearing shoes. Daw just looked at the boy's movements. After getting ready, Ice looked at Daw. He gave the 'what are you waiting for?' look, then walk towards the door.

Daw smiled happily and followed Ice. Arriving at the lobby, Fire was seen sitting on a couch, hugging his body. Fire frowned when he saw his brother walking ahead of Daw with a frown. His thick eyebrows almost knotted.

"Big brother, are you leaving?", He asked. Ice nodded.

"But, you haven't had breakfast yet," he said.

"It's okay. I have to hurry. See you later in the evening.", Said Ice.

"Okay.", Ice looked at them away. He sighed then sat back down.

"Fire."

Fire looked up to see the person who called his name. It's Top.

"Top."

"Why are you here? Where's Ice?", Top asked.

"He already leave with his friend."

"Friend?"

"Urm. Someone tall with an athlete looks.", Fire said, describing Daw.

"Oh. Okay.", Top said, knowing who the person is.

"Have you made something for breakfast?", Top asked.

"What?", Fire looked at Top.

Did this guy just asked him about breakfast?

"Hey, my friend!", Top briefly tapped on Ice's shoulder. Ice just glanced at him then continued reading his novel.
"Oho~ You came to the university with Daw, and now you're ignoring  me?", Top nag. Ice didn't replied.

"Tch!", Top looked at Ice with a smile.

"What?", Ice asked with lifting hia head a little.

"Still not fall in love?", Top asked with a smirked.

"Crazy."

"Oh. Yesterday, where did you go with him?", Top asked.

He remember how Fire scolded him on the phone when he told him that he wasn't with his brother. He smiled.
"Come on! Tell me!", Daw demand. Ice close his novel with a sigh then looked at his bestfriend.

"Don't remember.", Ice said.

"Huh?"

"How about you and the girl?", Ice asked to change the topic. He was too lazy to talk about it right now.

Top pouts and laid his head on the table, "Nothing's happen. I found out she already had a boyfriend."

He said. Even though Top is well known as a playboy, he will never hit on someone else's girlfriend. But this time he was fooled by a girl from the Science Political faculty. The girl said, she's single but turned out his boyfriend came to meet him and asked not to bother her. Damn!

"Serves you right!", Ice cursed him. Top pouts and frowned.

"When will your football match held?", Ice asked.

"Less than a week.", Top replied. "Talking about it, I might can't send you home for the days ahead. I'll go straight to the field for practices."

"It's okay."

"But.. Daw might have a lots of time to give you a ride.", Top teased.

"Asshole!"

"HAHAHAHA!"

"Do you think, I should give him a chance?", Ice suddenly asked.

Top slightly sighed. He know they're now in a serious conversation. "It's your decision, Ice. Nobody's should care if you want to open your heart for someone. You should try anyway."

"But, what should I do if he's actually wasn't serious."

"Don't worry. I know he will not dare to do that to you. But if he will, he'll die in my hands.", Top said with some jokes.

Ice just keep silent. Top tapped his shoulder. "Just give it a try, my friend. I know Daw is a nice guy."

Top was scrolling on his Instagram. Suddenly a familiar name and face popped up on his feed. It was just posted 5 minutes ago. There are some comments from his friend. He saw some unfamiliar language too. Maybe they are from his France friends.

'fire_anurak Second place for today. Filling my stomach before continue my trip.'

Top smiled as he reads the caption. He tap the comment section and wrote something.

'nattapong.top Can I come?'

'nattapong.top Then.. If I come for lunch, can I have a dinner too? Alreaddy had breakfast too.'
