Chapter 11

(Football match day)

Daw was sitting on the bench near the side field. Meanwhile, his friends and teammates were warming up. There's a lot of his fans not far behind him giving supports. Daw let out sigh, not because of his fans but because he's nervous. This is the first time for him as a captain on a big match. Last year it was Pun so it's not a big deal to him.

"Hey, captain. Are you okay?", suddenly Top come and greets him.

"just a little bit nervous.", Daw said.

"Hey, don't worry. We can do this.", Top said and tapped on his shoulder. "By the way, there is someone coming to see you."

Daw looked at the direction Top pointed. He saw Ice was walking towards him and Top. Top left the two and run to the field for warming up. Ice sat besides Daw and stared at him. He give Daw a bottle of juice.

"Thank you.", Daw said.

"Fighting!", Daw smiled. Having Ice besides him suddenly drove his nervous away.

"Thank you for coming. Now my confidence is back.", he said then patted Ice's hair.

The girls behind them already shouting and going crazy. Taking pictures of them then uploaded it on social media.

"They're so sweet!"

"Aaahhh!! Senior brother Daw is so sweet."

"Senior brother Ice is so lucky."

"Aren't they dating yet? Just date already!!"

"Yeah!!! We won the match! Senior brother Daw played so good today. The team too!"

"I think Daw and Ice are already dating. Top wouldn't let anyone touch Ice if he don't believe them."

"Senior brother Top looks so handsome too today. I wonder if he's single these days. I don't care if he's playboy."

"Congratulations to our university's football team! You go boys!"

"I wanted to be reincarnated as junior brother Ice."

"So jealous. My single ass."

Daw Kittibun : Thank you for the pictures and supports everyone.

"Daw are you dating Ice?"

"Don't ask. They're definitely dating now."

Daw Kittibun : Not dating. But if we're dating I'll tell you.

"Congratulations."

Top looked at the person who congratulated him.

"Thanks.", Top replied. "I didn't knew you're here."

"Big brother Ice asked me to come.", Fire replied then sit on the bench besides Top.

"Where is your brother?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe he's with big brother Daw.", Fire replied. Top just nod.

"So, are you free now?", Top asked.

"Why?"

"Let's go find something to eat. Running and chasing the ball makes me hungry.", he said.

Fire rolled his eyes. "Go eat with your girlfriend."

"I don't have any."

"Really? I thought you're the university's most popular playboy. Changing girlfriend everyday.", Fire said sarcastically to Top.

"You're right.", he said then put his face closer to Fire, makes the boy startled. "So, want to be my boyfriend for a day?", Top asked with a seducing smile.

Fire was speechless. He blinked a few times. Top chuckled then ruffles Fire's hair before pulling back his self.

"Stop teasing me!", Fire said. He can feel his face turned red.

"What? Didn't do anything.", Top replied defending his self.

"Bastard!", Fire cursed. Top smiled, looking at the angry Fire. 

"Stop angry. Come, I'll cool you down with ice-cream.", Top said and stands up.

"What flavour? Strawberry? Vanilla?", Fire asked in excitement.

"Since when I said I'll give you ice-cream with flavours?", Top smirked.

"Huh?", Fire was confused. Top bowed and whispered something to his ear.

Fire grit his jaw and clenched his fist. He was just started to cool down, but now in anger again. His head could explode in anytime. Fire glared at Top who's already walk ahead.

"You pervert asshole!", he shouted and stands up.

Top just laughed, didn't even bother or afraid with Fire's anger.

"Stupid Top.", Fire mumbled.

Daw looked at the night view of the city in front of them. They're now at the hill where he took Ice many days ago. He then shifted his eyes to Ice. He's so glad that Ice did not always refuse him like before anymore.

"I'm glad you like this place.", Daw said. Ice never said that he like this place but just by watching him smiling, Daw already knew it.

Ice nodded. He can't deny this place is beautiful. From the sunset until dark it's still beautiful. He believe, dawn will still give the same vibes and view.

"I always come here to release my stress and tension. The view, calm my anger and I can feel that the soft breeze always take my problems away.", Daw said.

Ice looked at the person besides him. Daw smiled when he saw Ice frowned.
"Why? Do you think a person like me,  who's goofy and funny doesn't have any problems?", Daw asked.

"Everyone do have problems or something they're fear of or traumatized, Ice. No one doesn't. If they don't, means they surely have a perfect life.", he said. "I am just an ordinary person, Ice. Having my own flaws and imperfections. Holding grudge, animus, ill will, jealousy, hatred. I'm sure, you're too."

Ice bowed. He smirked and shook his head. "Not everyone actually. There might be some people out there who're too innocent about that. I mean, about having grudge and so on. They might never care about that."

"You're right. Everyone have their own problems. Having their own anxiety and depressions. Feeling useless. Even I am one of them long time ago. I even almost killed myself. I can say, maybe half of my life I lived as a normal person. Talked like you, singing and laughing. But when I lost all of that, I thought it's not worth of living anymore. But I'm glad, I have my family. They always support me. Love me.", Ice said. He smiled to Daw.

"You will too. Stop holding grudge. It's no use. Try to love them. Know them better. If you can't, just ignore. The feelings will be faded by times. Like I did.", Ice continued.

Daw smiled. He didn't asked why Ice said he used to talk, because Top already explained some related things about Ice to him. Not everything. Just some.

"I wonder how you can be so calm facing people who keep insulting and bully you.", Daw asked.

"I used to it.", Ice replied. "One thing I've learned being mute my whole life, never let anything stop you. You can't let people put you down. Really, me being sad or whatever is not going to help."

Daw smiled and patted Ice's head. "You're strong. Just by imagining how people bully you, already made me mad."

"Silly. Why do you have to imagine?"

Daw laughed. He don't know either. "Let's go. Your brother must've been waiting for you."

Daw send Ice back to his condo. He stop the car when they're arrived.

"Are you really can't come to my house tomorrow?", Daw asked Ice who's fasten off his seatbelt.

"No. I have to go dinner with my parents at their friend's house tomorrow.", Ice said. "And even if I'm free, I will not go with you. I'm not even your lover or something else to join the dinner."

Daw smirked. "Then, when you're already my boyfriend you have to come to my house. No excuses."

"Crazy!"

Daw laughed. "Good night. Thank you for spending time with me."

"You said.", Ice shrugged then came out from the car.

He closed the door and waited Daw to leave but the guy in the car asked him to go in first. Ice couldn't refuse or else, Daw will not leave. 

Ice enter his condo to see Fire was playing with his phone. He saw the boy was smiling while looking at it.

"You're home.", Fire greeted him.

Ice put his bag on the study table before sitting besides his brother on the bed. He stared at him, wondering what makes him so interested with the phone. Ice tried to peek but Fire noticed him and quickly put his phone down.

"You got home late. Where did you go?", Fire asked.

"Just strolling around with a friend.", Ice replied.

"Friend or faen?", Fire asked, teasing him. Ice rolled his eyes and shook his head.

Ps: In Thai, 'faen' means lover. Basically, 'friend' and 'faen' have a quite similar pronounces.

"I'm taking shower first. Have you eat?", he asked.

"Already. I ate with Top", Fire replied. "Big brother. Mother said, he forgot to prepare our suits so he just ask us to  wear a formal and nice one for the dinner tomorrow."

Ice just nodded then went into the bathroom. He was thinking if there's a formal outfit in his closet.

Never mind. Just a nice one will do.
