josh walked to the gym where he always waited for tyler. he saw him walking out of the locker room with his buddy's, owen jaxon nathan and ethan.

"ight bye guys." tyler said, bro shaking them and waving as they walked away.

"how was your day?" tyler smiled, grabbing the straps of his backpack and holding them as he walked. he was sweaty and red faced, his hair sticking to his forehead.

"it was good, how about yours?" he replied, the boys walking out to the parking lot.

"isn't that max?" ashley asked once josh got in. she pointed to a guy. josh frowned, seeing max shake his head and climb in his truck. he obviously saw them.

"yeah, that's max." josh sighed. he still got upset over him.

"who's max?" abi asked.

"just one of my old friends, he's not important." josh smiled at her in the review mirror.

"is tyler coming over?" she said.

"yeah, why?"

"i like tyler, i just wanted to tell him hi." she said.

"well he'll be here so you can." he said, chuckling.

they drove back to joshs house, him parking and turning his car off. everyone got out, heading inside the house.

"hey son, how was school?" bill asked.

"good, we had a english test today but it was easy." he said, hugging his dad and then his mom.

"is tyler gonna be here for dinner?" she asked.

"yeah probably." he nodded, heading up to his room. not too long after, there was a slight knock and then tyler walked in.
