KHIEGILSAN 

I INHALE sharply before I hopped out in the car. His eyes are staring at me but I refused to turned my head to him and meet his gaze. I'm afraid that I might see an emotion that I wasn't prepared to see.

Regrets. I don't want to see that to him while looking at me.

"Shall we?" his soft voice walk me into my thoughts.

Without even glancing to his, I nodded.

"My parents are waiting inside same goes with your parents" he whisper thru my ear as he gently snaked his arms around my waist before pulling me closer.

"I really don't understand why you agree on this, Natsu" I mumble under my breath as we walk through the foyer.

"This is what your father wants, Lucienne" he reminded me "Also, we are doing this for your career"

I think I got suffocated for a bit. His words stabbed my heart but I ignore it because what he had said is true. He is doing this because of my father wishes and for my career.

You are not doing this because you love me or something. Or maybe you love me but as a friend. I let out a soft chuckle before I mentally shook my head because my thought. I can't say that to him. He probably think I'm getting weird or probably he thinks something was wrong with me.

I knew for a fact that I wasn't the woman he wishes to spend the rest of his life. But fate is playing trick on us. And to tell you honestly, I hate this situation. But, even I hate it and wanted to run away. My heart wants to stay that's how stubborn my feelings for him.

"Lucienne"

I look at him and frowned "Stop calling me Lucienne" I pause "Call me Lucy, Natsu"

"That is your screen name, Lucienne" he said in the matter in fact tone. I pressed my lips together refusing him to answer.

My name is Lucienne Heartfilia, also known as 'Lucy', twenty – six years old and a professional model. I had been in this industry for eight years and now I'm facing a controversial that might end my whole career. And this... and this event might prevent that or make it worst.

This guy besides me is my best friend, his name is Natsu Dragneel, one of the hottest and millionaire bachelor in this country. He was the owner of a technology company – I don't know anything about his company so I just skip that part. Anyway, he was with me when that controversial broke out. Playing tricks on my heart.

Apparently, I'm in love with my best friend and him... he was love someone else. Someone he can't be with. A cliché situation that often happened in a cliché movies or dramas.

"Lucienne!"

My sentiment was cut off short when I heard him call out my name at the same time – I felt his hand gently squeeze my hand. I look at him "What? Are you saying something?"

"Are you alright?" he ask me worriedly "Are you still thinking about your career?"

I shook my head "I'm not" I said smiling but he just stare on my face as if he was trying to read my mind – I chuckle "I'm not worried or thinking about my career, Natsu." I pauses "I have you." I sincerely said.

"You know that I've been your best friend for ten years, don't you?" he said.

I frowned "Of course, I know." I laugh a little "I forced you to become my best friend—"

"You are lying, Lucienne" he said which makes me pout "You should know that when you lied – you always try to cover it with your chuckle or your laugh"

My mouth parted "What?" am I? How come I never notice that mannerism of mine? Stupid Lucy! "But I'm not really worried about it anymore. Like what I've said – I have you" I said as I intertwined our hand.

His eyes stare on our hand for a couple of second before he gaze went back to my face "You always be," he said.

I was breathing heavily so I tried so hard to calm myself but it was hard because he suddenly bring our hand and before I knew it – he planted a soft kiss on the back of my hand. I glanced at our surroundings and I notice that our guest was looking on us. Some are squealing as if they are watching a romantic movie.

Damn! Now I know why he did this gesture. He probably want them to think that he was romantic and being sweet to his fiancée.

"Shall we meet my parents?" he ask me innocently "They were surely be delight to see you again" he said smiling charmingly.

Are they? They probably not gonna like me, I thought. Sure they like me when I was your friend but being your fiancée is different story. Damn! I'm freaking nervous.

"I can clearly see what you are thinking, Lucienne" he said chuckling – I scowl and then pouted my lips "Just relax"

"How can you be so relax in this situation?" I ask innocently.

He pause for a while as if he was thinking but I saw a hint of amusement written all over his face "Because..."

"Because?" I ask quizzically.

"Because I am Natsu Dragneel" he said which makes me roll my eyes "I can't be nervous because you're already nervous."

I open my mouth to say something but he just continue "Aside from that, you are my fiancée, Lucienne. And I'm proud to have you"

I open my mouth to say something but we both heard a soft cough on our back so when we both turned our head – my eyes got widen when I saw his parents standing there. They are both look serious that makes me nervous even more.

"Hi Dad, Hi Mom" Natsu greeted them "Lucienne I'd like you to meet my parents. Dad, Mom my fiancée, Lucienne"

I bit my lower lips when they just look at me. I feel like I'm hyperventilating already. I gave them an awkward smile "Hi," I saw awkwardly. I don't know how to freaking address them.

"Hello dearest, Lucienne" his mom said before hugging me which makes my mouth parted in shock. I saw his dad slightly pat Natsu's head but didn't say anything when his mom break the hug she smile on me brightly which ease my nervous.

"I was really nervous tonight. But I'm really happy to see you again, Lucienne."

"I-I..." I laugh nervously which makes Natsu besides me chuckle – I knew for a fact that he was enjoying seeing me like this. I clear my throat "I'm happy to see you too, Auntie! Uncle!"

"C'mon dear, just call us Mom and Dad too" his mom said

"Sure, Mom and Dad"

"You know what, Lucienne. The first time I saw you – I knew for a fact that you will become our daughter – in – law"

"R-Really?" I asked I'm not even sure why I'm stuttering.

"Yes, because I knew that you love my son – just like how he feels for you." His mom said happily. I bit my lower lip and looked away, feeling so awkward now.
