CHAPTER 4

Early in the morning, we find Daniel cooking up some breakfast for his family. More so his wife since he and his daughter seem to only eat the lovely and puffy pancakes in the morning. Speaking of Bianka and Kiara, both were seen walking down the steps and going towards the kitchen.

Kiara: (yawns) "Morning Daddy"

Bianka: "Morning dear"

Daniel: (smiles at them) "Morning my loves"

Both blonds walk up to Daniel, and he kisses Kiara on the cheek and Bianka gets a kiss on the lips. After finishing breakfast, Daniel places a plate of food in front of Bianka and then places a plate of pancakes in front of Kiara.

Kiara: "Syrup Syrup Syrup!!"

Daniel: (chuckles) "Alright alright, calm down there little kitten the syrups are coming"

Doing as promised, Daniel pours syrup onto Kiara's plate and does the same on his plate. Once that's done he sat down, gave a prayer, and they all soon began to eat their breakfast.

Bianka: "So what will be your plans for today dear?" (takes a bite out of her food)

Daniel: "It seems that I'll be given a special assignment today where I'm learning to be an educator" (takes a bite out of a pancake)

Kiara: "Oooh~ special assignment? Do you know what it's about?"

Daniel: "I do not, but I am quite excited to see what this is all about and hope that it will allow me to understand more about being an educator"

Bianka: "Just be careful, okay, I rather you not even be two feet from Miss Goodwitch"

Daniel: (places his hand on Bianka's) "Don't worry, I'll be fine and back before you know it"

Bianka: (smiles gently) "Okay"

Kiara: "You'll do great! I know you will Daddy!"

Daniel: (smiles at Kiara) "Thank you for the vote of confidence Kiara, it has now surely given me strength"

Kiara: "Yay!" (goes back to devouring her food)

Both Daniel and Bianka sweatdrop seeing their adorable girl just devouring her breakfast like a savage. After breakfast had finished, Daniel said his goodbyes and teleported toward Union Academy. Appearing in front of the gate, he walks in and down the path before finding Glynda outside the entrance probably waiting for her.

Daniel: "Good morning Miss Goodwitch"

Glynda: "Good morning to you as well Daniel"

Daniel: "Have I kept you waiting?"

Glynda: (shakes her head) "No, you are just in time" (the door behind her slides open) "Please follow me, Daniel"

Daniel: "Alright"

Walking inside and going down the large and long hallways they soon arrive in front of a large door that resemble the large door Izuku's classroom had.

Glynda: "Ready to come inside?"

Daniel: "I am, though I must ask" (crosses his arms) "What is it that you intend to make me answer or think of today?"

Glynda: "That won't exactly be what you'll do today"

Daniel: "Eh?" (tilts his head)

Glynda: "This time you will have a short time to take care of the class before a professor chimes in and takes care of the rest"

Daniel: "Wait . . . . what!?"

Glynda: "You'll essentially become a teacher for a bit, you're going to be our special guest in front of some of our new students and their parents since it's open house today"

Daniel: "And don't you think k I should have been told this sooner!?"

Glynda: "One must always prepare, I had assumed that since you've thought all those things you've answered and thought of, then maybe you'll be fine being a teacher for a few moments"

Daniel: (sighs) "Geez, I had these kinds of last-minute twists" (rubs the bridge of his nose) "Fine fine I'll do it"

Glynda: (smiles) "Excellent, come along now"

She opens the door and they both go inside the classroom. It looked empty, but it was well-made and big enough for a large group of individuals.

Yet, even though it seemed empty there were two individuals inside and waiting for them. It was professor Peter Port and prof— I mean Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck.

Daniel: "Huh? Professor Port and Professor Ooble—"

Oobleck: (appears in front of Daniel) "Doctor Oobleck mister Daniel" (he says very quickly before going back to being beside Port)

Daniel: "Right . . . . . Doctor Oobleck, but back to the matter at hand" (points at them) "Why are you two here?"

Port: "To see you at work of course"

Oobleck: "Goodwitch has informed us of your goal, your reasoning, and what you've expanded upon since yesterday, we are here to help you and like Goodwitch"

Port: "To add more and make you think more about what you want as an educator for your student"

Daniel: "Whoa well I can't say much other than thank you for coming along"

Port: "You my boy have great potential, and you've surpassed all my expectations as a hero of heroes, but now I wish to see how this path will forge you just like my own when I was a sprite young man haha!"

Daniel: (sweats drop) "Okay?"

Oobleck: "As he said, we helped you before and we shall do so again"

Daniel: (smiles) "Glad to hear that"

Glynda watched from behind, Port and Oobleck never treated Daniel wrongly like she did, so it felt a bit sad to her. She is still surprised that the man was giving her a chance, she can't blow it and she won't. Walking over to the conversation."

Glynda: "Gentlemen" (gains the three's attention
"catching up will have to wait, the students and their parents are on their way"

Port: "Alright then, we shall stand by the side and once you're done Daniel I shall take over"

Daniel: (nods) "Alright"

The classroom door opened, students and their parents walked inside and got sited in an orderly fashion. Once everyone was inside and fully comfortable the class began with Glynda standing behind the desk.

Glynda: "Parents, thank you all for coming today to this open house" (walks up to the board and writes down something) "Today we will be having a very special guest that will be teaching us a little bit about today's topic"

Murmurs and whispers were heard amongst the students and parents. They wondered who could the special guest be. While Daniel was hidden behind Oobleck and Port, waiting to be called.

Glynda: (motions towards Oobleck and Port) "Please welcome, Moze! The shadow monarch and white dragon emperor"

Gasp and shocked looks came from the crowd of students and parents, they all turned towards the other two professors who stepped aside and presented Daniel. He doesn't say anything and slowly walks up to the front before stopping beside Glynda.

Daniel: "Good morning students"

That greeting alone made the students start cheering, screaming, and asking random questions. Daniel and Glynda watched with blank expressions how the students couldn't contain their excitement, and neither could the parents. So thinking about what he did before in Izuku's classroom, but differently.

Daniel: "Quiet please"

Taking a book out of Aizawa, Daniel makes his eyes glow and makes his voice go deep for a split second. This succeeded and everyone became silent and patient, this made Daniel lower his power back to normal and smile warmly.

Daniel: "Good, now we can truly begin" (glances behind him and sees the topic of today 'protecting the innocent' which makes him glance at Glynda) "Hmm?"

Glynda: (nods and whispers to him) "It's a good way to start, you're good at that"

Daniel: (nods and turns back towards the crowd) "Now, all of you are here because you want to become someone that does something for the betterment of this world, to protect those that can't protect themselves and keep the peace we have now"

Daniel thoughts: "Alright" (sighs mentally) "Here we go"

<————————————————————————>

Daniel stood at the front of the room, his presence calm yet commanding. Though his past carried a reputation for being fierce, there was now a kindness in his eyes as he looked over his class of eager future heroes. Today's lesson was crucial: understanding the responsibility of protecting others.

He began with a question, his voice low but clear, "Why do you think it's important for those who have power to protect those who don't?"

A few hands shot up, and Daniel pointed to a young mage in training named Aiko. "Because it's our responsibility to use our abilities to help people," she said with conviction.

Daniel nodded, pleased. "That's right. Whether you're a hero, a hunter, or a wizard, your skills are not just for you. They're for the people who can't protect themselves." He paused, glancing at the board where he had written Creative Problem Solving in bold letters. "Now, let's talk about how we can use creativity to train for situations where we might be called to protect others."

He turned to the class. "Imagine you're in a crowded village, and you notice something suspicious. You need to act without alarming everyone. How could you handle that creatively?"

A student from the back, a young shinobi named Kenji, leaned forward thoughtfully. "Maybe we could blend in with the crowd, observe quietly," he suggested.

"Good," Daniel replied, encouragingly. "Blending in is key. But what else? How can we use our unique skills—maybe even distract if needed?"

A huntress in training named Lina raised her hand. "We could use illusions, if we have them, or mislead the enemy away from the civilians."

Daniel smiled. "Excellent, Lina. Creative thinking like this can make the difference between chaos and safety." He looked over his class, satisfied with the energy in the room. He could see they were truly engaged.

"To make this even more real," Daniel continued, "I want each of you to go back to your families and communities this week. Talk to them about what safety means to them. Understanding their needs and concerns will make you a better protector because you're serving real people, not just an idea."

One student, a wizard's apprentice, hesitated before asking, "Mr. Moze, why do we need to talk to them? I mean... can't we just learn everything here?"

Daniel's gaze softened, and he walked closer to the student. "Because when we know who we're protecting, we find a deeper motivation. Real people, real families—they give meaning to our training. Learning doesn't just happen in a classroom; it's in the lives of those we care for." He paused, letting his words sink in. "By involving them in our learning, we're connecting our knowledge to what matters."

The room fell quiet as the students absorbed his words. Daniel continued, his voice warm and encouraging, "I want each of you to remember—our work doesn't stop at graduation. Keep learning, keep training, and always seek out knowledge, because threats change, and we have to stay ready."

Aiko raised her hand again. "But, Mr. Moze... what if we're scared of what we don't know?"

Daniel's expression softened. "Fear is natural. But courage is choosing to keep learning, to keep growing, even when we're afraid." He looked around at each of them. "You're not alone in this. Use each other, learn from each other, and know that I am here whenever you need support."

An alarm went off, meaning Daniel's time ended and he had finished his lesson. He looked at the students, their faces determined. He watched them with a rare, gentle smile, knowing they were leaving not just with skills, but with purpose.

<————————————————————————>

Daniel: "That should be all for today"

Daniel: (using lightning, he somehow erases the written topic from the board) "I hope you all remember this, I want you all to become greater than me after all" (lowers his arm) "Now I hand the class over to Professor Port here"

He could not see it, but Daniel could feel all the groaning sounds coming from the students when Port's name was mentioned. Making him chuckle as he and Glynda walk toward where Oobleck is while Port passes them. Professor Port stood in front of the class and cleared his throat.

Port: "Monsters! Savages! Demons! Villains! All the things you'll meet out there once you graduate from here"

Daniel crosses his arms and leans against the wall as he watches Port's class. Glynda stood
beside him and observed the class with Oobleck, all three silently watched the closed eye mustache
professor deal with the students. Son later, the hour went by and the class had ended with students and parents getting their autographs and pictures of Daniel before leaving the room. Now it was just Daniel, Glynda, Oobleck, and Port left.

Daniel: "Geez and people then ask me why I don't like to deal with fans"

Glynda: "You did very well out there, this wasn't the topic you wish to teach, but it's a start don't you think?"

Daniel: "Yeah hmm you're not wrong there"

Oobleck: "Now the question will be, can you find a middle ground between this and you're personal life?"

Daniel: "Hmm?"

Oobleck: "As you know us three are educators, but on the side we are hunters and a huntress"

Glynda: "Plus we all have our individual and personal objectives"

Oobleck: "So I ask you, how can you create a space between your personal life and you're professional one?"

<————————————————————————>

Daniel leaned back, thoughtful for a moment before speaking. "Creating a balance between personal and professional life isn't always easy," he began, his voice calm yet reflective. "Being a vigilante hero comes with a lot of responsibility—it requires a commitment that sometimes goes beyond the usual work hours. But I've learned that making time for the things that ground me—writing stories, relaxing with family and friends, or diving into a good movie or game—makes me better at what I do."

He paused, glancing out the window as if organizing his thoughts. "When I'm with my family, for example, I set aside the demands of her work to be present. My kid reminds me of why I do this work in the first place, and my hobbies give me a break from that intense focus, letting me come back to it with fresh eyes and renewed energy. It's all about making sure I don't lose myself in one role or another."

He looked back at his students, a hint of a smile in his eyes. "I've recently thought about becoming an educator. Teaching would allow me to help and share what I've learned and support the ones who need help the most, which is something that excites me for the future. I also discovered just a few days ago that I have a bit of a knack for voice acting—it's a fun way to explore storytelling don't you think hehe in a different way of course, and it's something I'm considering for the future."

Daniel leaned forward, his gaze intent yet warm. "Balance, to me, is about making time for all these parts of myself. I've come to realize that it's okay to have ambitions beyond hero work, as long as I'm disciplined with my time and clear on my priorities. I know that if I'm fully there for the people I love and find time for activities that enrich me, I can bring my best self both to my personal life and to whatever role I'm fulfilling—whether that's being a hero, a friend, a father, or a teacher."

<————————————————————————>

Port: "My goodness young man, you have quite the thought process"

Daniel: "I've been told that heh"

Glynda: "Gosh this just lets me believe you've been a teacher before or something"

-> Daniel: "Well I've never been an actual teacher and the only time I've done something close to teaching in a classroom was today" (sigh) "Though back then I did have to help others and my family too with their English, and to this day I continue to be sorta teacher of English for my parents when they have a hard time understanding a word in English"

Port: "Aah yes Hector and Wanda"

Glynda: "Are they still having issues speaking English?"

Daniel: "Oh no they can understand it now and speak it perfectly, but my father tends to tease me into helping him in English speaking or wording situations"

They all chuckled, but the door to the classroom opened, and walking in came Kiriya Sensei, who made his way towards Daniel.

Kiriya: "You've answered that, now answer me this"
