The next morning I sat in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee as I looked at the letters I received in my mail. "KAI! KAI!" Hari bursted in running into the kitchen still wearing his shoes, who knows what he stepped in. I'll have to get the floor clean later. "stop that, you'll ruin my floors" I said "oh shut up, look!"

He put down a newspaper and pointed at the picture of a pro hero who called himself 'Deku' what an interesting choice. "Read it" I sighed grabbing the paper from the table.

Deku and Dynamight get into a heated argument during combat as Dynamight refers to him as "useless hero" for quirk 'overhaul'

My eyes widened quickly looking up at Hari "see! Overhaul, that's your quirk too! Kai that's your soulmate!" "No...no, this can't be, I refuse to believe this" "what? Why?" "Take this, I don't want it near me" I told him as I pushed the newspaper away.

"Kai, come on why are you pissed?" "Don't you see Hari? A PRO HERO, is using MY quirk for the good, don't you know how much I despise people like him? Praising their quirks to do such nonsense like that?" 

He sighed grabbing the paper and staring at the image before facing it to me as he pointed to the boys picture "that's your soulmate, whether you like it or not" I looked down at my coffee as I listened to his footsteps slowly fade away.

A hero? Out of all people a hero? God really must hate the choices I've made through my life for him to send a hero as my soulmate. I stood up from the table and made my way to the front of the building, If I'm not wrong I am pretty sure Shigaraki had mentioned that hero's name, as much as I hate to do this I'll have to call him up.

"Oh sorry! So sorry! I didn't mean to run into you like that, are you okay?"

Or maybe not.

I stared into the guys green eyes glaring at them "Your voice is very irritating" I say making his expression change "excuse me?"
"I know I ran into you, but it was an accident and I apologized" "shut it, I know who you are and I'm here to tell you something"

"Quit the hero job"

He froze standing still "what..." "quit the hero job, you're making a fool out of me by getting called useless because of our quirk" his eyes lit up as he gasped "our quirk? Wait, you-...you have overhaul too?" "I've had it for way much longer than you, I can tell you're young...no wonder I was never able to find you"

"No way....so we're soulmates! Oh my god, this is amazing! You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment in my life" I sighed regretting my decision, I should've ignored him, he's too bright.

"Look kid, I don't care if we're soulmates because I have no intentions in including you in my life" "you've made a fool out of yourself by misusing the quirk you've been given, it is not meant for the hero's"

"In other words, you're using it wrong" "it is not for the good, but for the bad" he stayed silent for a few seconds looking away until he looked at me again "everyone has said that to me, but I told them I'd prove them wrong and I did, still no one supports me or even enjoy the work I do for them"

"but either way I still don't believe the quirk I was born with is meant for evil, it was a gift for the good"

"Disgusting...absolutely disgusting"

"Overhaul, it's dangerous for a reason" "I can't not deal with the fact I've been paired with a child like you" "I am not a child!  And it is not dangerous unless you intend to make it dangerous" 

"And judging by your choice of words, you must be a villain...am I right?"
