Chapter One

"HEY!" Christian yelled. "Get me a-" They abrupted into laughter.

Clay's gaze at the person sitting next to them quickly broke, trying to figure out what Christian was laughing at.

"Christian? What are you la-" Clay got cut off by the person sitting next to them, tapping their shoulder.

Clay turned around, the green haired person staring at them, a letter in hand.

"Hya, I'm Blake!" Blake smiled. "He/him please!" He handed the note to Clay.

Clay smiled as they opened up the letter.

Dear Clay,
I've seen you at this restaurant every few days, and I think I'm falling in love. Your personality brings joy to me, you make my heart happy. Will you make me happier, and go out on a date with me?
Thanks, Blake.

Clay looked up, a bit surprised by the love letter.

The two exchanged phone numbers, before returning to their conversations with their friends.

"Christian, what's so funny?" Clay asked.

"Oh, nothing," Christian said, his laughter finally dying down.

Blake looked over at the small group of friends. They were all different in their own way. That's what made Blake wanna join that group. The feeling of the different personalities, yet good people, made him happy. One of the people in the corner group is emo, and as far as he's aware, his name is Dev. It's as if they're their own human being, and thats-

Magnificent. No one should be the same, that's just boring.

Blake looked back down at his plate of food. His heart sinking as he looked back up at his group of "friends"

The three in front of him started giggling, before full on picking on him. Blake, embarrassed, looked down.

Clay looked over, suddenly feeling a pang in their heart seeing Blake get picked on by his own "friends."

Blake, now fill of rage, stood up, and banged his fist against the table. Everyone in the restaurant turned to look, even Clay and their friends.

"Shut the fuck up! You don't know shit! I'VE BEEN THROUGH WAY MORE THAN YOU, SO HOW ABOUT YOU FUCK OFF, AND ATOP PICKING ON ME? I THOUGHT FRIENDS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE NICE TO EACHOTHER, NOT TELLING THEM THAT THWIR LIFE IS WORTHLESS, AND HOW IT HAS NO MEANING!" Blake screamed.  "Oh no! You lost your cupcake! I LOST MY ENTIRE HOME! You three really be getting all stressed up because you lost a FUCKING CUPCAKE?"

Blake grabbed his cup off water, and chucked the actual cup at them, before sliding the waiters a hundred, and then running off, still mad.

Clay quickly stood up and went to go follow him, but Finn pulled him back down. Clay looked at Finn, a bit ticked off.

"Why would you ever want to go follow him? He seriously just got pissed off at his friends for no re-"

"FINN!" Clay cut off Finn. "There's a fucking reason! Ok?"

"You don't even know his name-"

"YES I FUCKING DO!"Clay was getting a bit more mad.

"Oh." Finn looked down, embarrassed.

Clay stood up and went to go follow where Blake went.

Blake sat in the bathroom stall, his tears falling like never before...
