Re-Cap(-tain Marvel)

Lily sighed and collapsed on the table with a huff. "I hate them, and you guys know I hardly hate anyone," she grumbled. Patton patted her back. I looked over at Roman.

"We'll tell you everything at lunch,"

~Virgil's PoV~

I walked into the lunchroom and looked around, desperately trying to find Roman and the others. In my gym class, I had the Londyn's, and I feel like they're planning something. I heard someone whistle and turned to face the noise to see Roman waving at me. I smiled and walked over briskly, sitting down next to him. 

He grinned and kissed my temple, making me blush.

"Aww... so cute!" someone exclaimed. I looked over to see Patton. I smiled at him, Logan sat down next to Patton. Lily also suddenly appeared, sitting down next to Patton, the two of them started talking immediately. Then a guy with neat brown hair tapped Roman on the shoulder. Roman turned around and turned me around too. 

"Hey Ro-man, who's this?" the guy said, gesturing to me. Roman grinned.

"This is my boyfriend, Virgil," Roman said matter o' factly. The guy smiled and offered his hand for a handshake.

"Hey! I'm Cal! My girlfriend Mare and I usually sit with Roman if that's okay," he said.

(A/N: I will cry if at least one person know where Cal and Mare are from, ALSO I HAVEN'T READ THE LAST ONE YET SO PLZ NO SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE)

Just then, a girl with very tan skin and dark brown hair that was slightly graying at the tips walked over. She kissed Cal on the cheek and smiled at me.

"Hi! Who are you?" she asked.

"That's Romans boyfriend, Virgil," Cal answered for me. The girl, who's probably Mare, grinned and punched Roman in the shoulder lightly.

"Finally! Good for you man," she grinned, then she sat down, Cal following soon after.

Roman rolled his eyes and we all continued eating until the girl that was talking with Remy on the bus that day ran over and launched herself at Roman.

"Roman! Why didn't you drive me to school?" she growled, Roman groaned. My eyes widened.

"That's your sister?" I asked. She looked at me.

"Aren't you Remy's brother?" she asked back. Roman looked at us confused.

"You guys know each other?" he asked. His sister shrugged.

"Not really, he was sitting across from Remy and I on the bus," she replied nonchalantly.

Roman smirked, "You and your boyfriend were sitting across from my boyfriend?" he asked teasingly to his sister. She turned red and punched him in the shoulder.

"He's not my boyfriend, Roman, I'm Aro and you know that!" she hissed. Roman shrugged.

"Coulda fooled me-"

"Wait, did you say boyfriend?" she looked at me, "So this is Virgil? I mean, you said you guys were opposites, but seriously?" she asked with a soft smile. Roman rolled his eyes.

"Right, Virgil, this is my sister Velma, she's a pain in the ass," he said. Velma punched him again and rolled her eyes.

"Right, well I'm leaving now, have fun loser," she said and walked away.

Roman rolled his eyes and held his shoulder, "She may not look like it, but she can really pack a punch," he laughed, then he turned back around. I stared after Velma and then turned around too.

~Time Skip~

School had just let out, Roman, like the gentleman he was, offered to drive me home. Velma had a pure look of murder when we drove off without her. Roman stuck his tongue out and flipped her off. Velma returned the courtesy.

Right now we were driving back, I was staring out the window, Roman was focused on the road. One hand on the wheel, and one hand, on my thigh. I snickered, "How do my thighs feel?"

Roman smirked, "They feel awesome!" he chuckled, squeezing them. (A/N: YOU BETTER BELIEVE I JUST DID)

I blushed and looked away, Roman moved his hand from my thigh to my hand, squeezing it. I looked over to him to see him looking at the road, but still somehow looking at me through the corner of his eye.

I relaxed, I didn't even realize I had tensed up.

"So, now that we have free reign of the town, I think it's only proper is I asked you out on a real date?" he said with a smirk. My face heated up and I glanced at our intertwined hands. 

"Y-yea," I squeaked. Roman brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it softly, my face felt as if someone had poured liquefied fire over it.

"Pick you up at 6?" Roman asked again. 

"Y-yea! S-sure!" I replied, way too quickly and way too enthusiastic. Roman didn't seem to notice. 

How was he being so smooth and calm about this?!

~Roman's PoV~

(Translation: OMG I JUST ASKED HIM OUT AND HE SAID YES! DEEP BREATHS ROMAN. HOLY MOTHER OF ZEUS YOU'RE GOING TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOUR BELOVED AND OH MY GOD HE SAID YES)

I tried not to look like I was dying inside. I had talked about this with Patton and asked him where I should take Virgil. Patton had never been on a date, that's when Logan interrupted and told me to take him to the movies, nice and simple. What are we gonna see? Black Panther, duh.

On the other hand. Virgil and I just had to set Patton and Logan up. Patton is a hopeless romantic, but he still has a crush on Logan, it's been two years since he told me. So Logan is definitely an actual crush. Logan doesn't talk about his feelings. But I have a very strong gaydar and every time Logan even glances at Patton, it goes off.

I stopped in front of Virgil's house. He went to open the car door, I had it locked. He looked at me in confusion. 

"What? Doesn't your knight in shining armor deserve a kiss?" I asked. Virgil rolled his eyes and unlocked the car manually and got out. I stared gobsmacked at him. He walked over to my door and opened it, giving me a peck on the cheek, and then walking off. 

I laughed and shook my head, making sure Virgil got in the house safely before driving off, getting ready for our date.
