"Hey Logan, can I try something?" I asked.

"Sure," he said skeptically.

~Patton's PoV~

"What does Y-E-S spell?" I asked, trying to mask a smile.

"Yes?" he answered. 

"What does E-Y-E-S spell?" I asked, biting my lip.

"... Eee-yes?" he tried. I burst out laughing, almost dropping my stuff. Logan raised an eyebrow.

"Wha-what does, E-Y-E-S spell?" I asked once again. He thought for a moment.

"........ Eee-es?" 

I laughed so hard I had to stop walking. 

"What-What does-does E-Y-E-S spell?"

Logan took out a paper, obviously frustrated.

"E... Y... E-" he stopped. Looked at me with an expression I couldn't name. "Eyes," 

I exploded with euphoria, nodding my head. Logan seemed to be buffering as if doing a system reset, which was weird, but even funnier.

~Virgil's PoV~

I was walking through the hall to my next class when I was shoved into the wall, I groaned and looked over to see Kelly chuckling and walking away. I gritted my teeth and kept walking, keeping my head down and staring at the floor. At that moment I realized I had next period with him.

I winced at the thought before remembering that I also had that period with Roman, so I was safe.

I speed walked to the next class and collapsed in my seat next to Roman, he looked at me worriedly. I shrugged it off. He opened his mouth but was interrupted by the bell. The teacher walked in and grinned at us. She was very loud, but I was actually fine with it. It was LA, nobody really likes LA, but she's just such a nice and extroverted teacher that it was hard to hate her class.

Roman turned her attention to her. I did too, when I felt something hit the back of my head. I looked behind me to see Kelly smirking. I noticed Sweeny wasn't next to him, this was weird, Kelly and Sweeny were always together and I knew for a fact Sweeny was also in this class. 

I rolled my eyes and turned back to the front, scooting closer to Roman, as if to say Try me bitch.

The teacher started talking.

"Okay class! So I decided that you guys will write me letters- yes on paper Kyle- this letter will help me to get to know you better, this will also help me decide the seating charts-" the class groaned, interupting her. She rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips, "Yea, yea, yea, welcome to the real world people, if you need some loose-leaf paper it's right here," she said, guesturing to the counter, "I will put some possible prompts on the board and then it's all up to you. This is due Friday, and to those of you who don't care enough to know what day it is, it's Wednesday, that also means early releas so be happy little munchkins," she grinned, then she started writing on the board.

"Put that you wanna sit next to me," Roman whispered to me. I smirked.

"I dunno, I think I have to put up with you enough as it is," I grinned smugly. Roman dramatically feigned his offended-ness. Making me blush, he was so extra and attracting attention!

"Roman, please no..." I trailed off. He smiled and ruffled my hair.

"Whatever you say my little emo-nightmare," he whispered the last part, I blushed harder, lightly smacking his arm. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl smile triumphantly before throwing a pencil and Kelly, probably stopping him from saying something homophobic.

After that Roman and I got to work.

"Oh! I forgot to mention! Soccer tryouts are on Monday! For those of you who want to try out raise your hand I'll give you the permission slips," the teacher suddenly cut through the silence. Roman raised his hands, along with a few other kids. Thee teacher handed them the permission slips. "Okay! Back to work!"

~Time Skip~

Roman was driving me home again.

"So... soccer?" I asked suddenly. Roman nodded and took my hand, I've noticed he loves physical contact, any time we're together he has to have some sort of physical contact.

"Yea, I'm auditio- trying out, for the team, I was captain last year so there's no doubt I'll get in, you'll come the games, right?" he pouted, how could I say no to that face?

"Of course!" I smiled. Roman grinned and kissed my hand.

We talked about random stuff before I knew it he had dropped me off at my house with a kiss on my cheek. I smiled, cheeks heating up, before walking back into the house. 

I waved him goodbye and walked into the house. Thomas waved at me. 

"Hey Virgil! We're going out with Joan and Talyn today so don't eat anything yet, okay?" 

I nodded and walked up to my room, starting on my homework.

I'm really sorry for missing all of last weeks updates! But, unfortunately, school's been getting much more persistent and I can't write as much. I am also going through a massive writer's block. So, unfortunately, I'll have to go back to once-a-week updates. 

New updating schedule: Mondays. If you're wondering why it's bcuz Monday is a Universally hated day and I want to make it a bit better for y'all, especially considering the fact that I know the majority of you are still in school, like me lol, so yee.
