Everything is happening way too fast

Asriel just stared at a bored Louis. Inside his calm composure, his mind is full of adrenaline. He doesn't know where to start. He wants to know the truth. He wants to know who Louis really is.

"Are you gonna talk or what?" she says. Her arms were crossed while her foot tapped impatiently. Although she was held in place by Asriel, she was free to do any action she wants to do. Unlike G.

"Alright." he started. "I'll go straight to the point."

She raised a brow.

"What's your name?"

Louis laughs. "I thought I already said. My fvcking name is Louis." she hiss.

"You seem to dislike me. Why so?"

She grins as if she can't believe he would still ask that. "You're the prince of monsters. How could I not hate you? You killed my family."

Asriel twitched slightly, but still remained calm. "I didn't. My father did."

"He's your father!" She shot back.

"I am not entitled to my parents." he says loudly. "I assure you that."

"Tch. Whatever. Doesn't change the fact my family is dead because of your race."

Asriel's eyes narrowed in irritation. Her racism is seriously triggering him, but he can't blame her for that.

"...are you Chara?" he asked, his voice almost quivering.

Louis just stared at him in slight interest and shock. "...how do you..."

"Are you?" he says almost demandingly. He wasn't aware that his face showed desperation and slight hope. Louis notices and maybe a felt a bit of pity. Thought she doesn't know why.

Maybe it's the fact that his blue eyes almost seemed grey now.

"No. I'm not." she averted her gaze. "I...I know her though."

Upon hearing these words, Asriel hasn't lost all hope. His eyes showed a tinge of happiness.

He cleared his throat. "H-how is she...?"

Louis isn't supposed to amswer, but she felt obligated to do so. As if she can feel this tiny flame inside him.

A connection, maybe?

But she didn't want to answer him. She felt too guilty.

"She's...gone." she wouldn't look at him. "I'm sorry."

Asriel smiles a bit, but his eyes were already full of tears. "It's not your fault." his voice broke.

"...were you two close?"

"She was my sister."

"Was?"

"She kinda disappeared on me." he chuckles sheepishly as he wipes the tears away. "Are you two close? You used the nickname she used to call me whenever we argue."

"Smiley trash bag?"

He laughs. "That's the one."

"I call all the monsters that..." Louis felt small. She was just 10 when Chara found her. She knew that she ran away from her family, but she never knew it was a monster family. Until now.

Ever since Chara and Louis had gotten close, Louis ran away from the orphanage with Chara. Eventually, a couple found them alone in a park and took them in. She never told her why she ran away from her family, but she never bothered to ask too. At the time, the most important thing for her is that she had a family.

Until the monsters came.

"Why did she run away?" Louis asks.

"I don't know..."

"...she was part of my family. We were siblings too."

Asriel stared at the ground. His own parents killed her.

And they didn't know.

She's gone.

Actually gone.

And my family killed her.

Louis felt like she was free. The black aura around her disappeared as Asriel turned back to normal. Tears spilled from his eyes as a sob slipped from his throat. Louis just stood there, unable to move. She doesn't know what to do.

You closed the door behind you and saw Frisk still sleeping. You tilted your head in confusion. You thought Frisk was asking for you. You were about to leave, when someone knocked on the door. You opened it to see G.

"Hey, G." you say, a little shy.

"Hey." he says. "The tiny guy still asleep?"

You nodded. "So, uh, what's up?"

"I want to talk to ya'." he says. You were suspicious of him since he didn't make a joke out of that.

G's been acting weird lately already so...

You gesture him to go inside, and he does. He carefully sits beside Frisk. You leaned on the wall and crossed your arms.

"You need to leave." G says sternly.

You choke on your own breath. "What?"

"I've been detecting monster magic while I was out. They're getting close."

Your eyes widen in shock. You wanted to know when did he leave the house or something, but there are more important things than that. Like the fact that the troops are getting close.

"What about you and Asriel?"

He smirks. "We can take care of ourselves. But you and Frisk need to leave."

You gawk at him. You couldn't accept the fact that you need to get far away from G. You felt safe around him. His presence is familiar to you. You felt alive around him.

And he changed you.

"No, G, I'm not leaving you." you protest. You coughed. "A-and Asriel. I'm not leaving you and Asriel."

G stood and gave a you smug look. "Come on, kitten, did ya' really think I take a liking towards ya'?"

These words hit a nerve. It hurt you, but not as much as it hurt G.

"You were a burden. A lot of sh¡t started happening ever since you came around." he turns away from you. Everything he's doing right now broke your heart. "It was a mistake ever meeting ya'."

The final blow. Your fists trembled.

He's lying.

He has to be lying.

This is to make us leave.

But why does it still hurt...?

"Fine." you croaked. "We'll leave. Now."

G wanted to stop you, but it was for the best.

The events keep escalating. And they're happening fast.

You wished for things to calm down. You could picture yourself with Frisk, happily playing in the fields.

And G was there.

A small hapoy family.

But it could never be like that.

You took your own clothes and Frisk's and out them in the string bag you found the other week. You put your things and placed them on the bed.

You faced G. "We're leaving, don't worry." you carried Frisk in your arms as you woke him up. He was too drowsy to say anything properly so he just mumbled incoherent words. You quickly went downstairs and saw Louis sitting on the couch. She seems to be in a daze.

She noticed you. "Asriel's in the bathroom."

You wanted to say bye, but you're afraid it might get harder to leave. "We're leaving. Are you going with us?"

Louis just stared at you. Then for a split second, she didn't want to go. "Y-yeah, I'm coming." you open the door and set foot outside, with Louis following behind.

G watched you from window. He sighed. There was no plan after all. He cares about you too much to proceed to the plan. Like there was even one. They hadn't give much thought to it anyway.

Cause all we thought about was Y/N.

Things can happen, good or bad. But you trust yourself that you can surpass them all. Hopefully.

|| POINT SAVED ||

Too short, I know, sorry. Kinda rushed it.

And yes, events are happening way too fast and the escalation is from 0 to 100.

But it's all on purpose lmao.
