They did my X-rays. Apparently I had a broken foot. They patched me up as appropriately as possible at a hospital. "You need rest. You need to avoid using that foot for the next six to eight weeks. So you can properly heal. You'll have to go to the orthopedic office to get a proper cast for your foot. You'll end up in crutches, so that you aren't walking on that foot." I sighed. "My girlfriend is due soon. I'll rest as best as I can. When can I see her?" I just wanted to see her and make sure she was ok. "We will call up to the fifth floor and find out what we can. For now try resting. Depending what is going on you can maybe get wheeled up by a nurse, to go see her." I hoped they'd allow it. I just want to check on my girls.

About twenty minutes later the nurse went into my room. "There has been a slight emergency with your girlfriend." My heart sank, "What's wrong with her!?" I was trying to move around to get off the bed. "The doctor can come and speak to you about it here." She didn't wait for anything else and walked out. Thankfully I had told Jenni to contact my parents and have them contact Lily's parents. A few seconds later the doctor comes in. "Mr. Anderson, your girlfriend needs an emergency C-section. They will be doing so in the next fifteen minutes. We can wheel you up and help you get in gear. Only one person is allowed in that room and we are assuming you'd like that." I nodded frantically with tears running down my face. I couldn't speak, I just wanted to be with Lily already. Ten minutes later we were in the room where they had to help me gear up. Then we were in the operating room. Where they'd do a C-section on Lily. Because her pain was causing issues with Lila's oxygen. They had informed me about her screams of pain and how often they were becoming. I was hoping the accident didn't cause any damage to her. But it did. They couldn't check one hundred percent to make sure it was that her placenta detached. But all symptoms were showing for it. They said as she screamed her bed sheets were becoming red. She was bleeding recklessly and they needed to get Lila out and help Lily. I was a complete mess. But I had to be strong for Lila and Lily.

An hour later there she was. Lila Mae Anderson. In all her perfections.
