Luka

I couldn't sleep. I had spent hours wondering where she could have gone. Not once did I think she'd take a five hour drive just to get away from me. The minute I had gotten back home I called Jake. I told him everything. I told him to fire her immediately. I let him know I wasn't going to go back to work. I spent the day driving around to all the areas I knew she liked. But no luck. It was about 3:30 am when I remembered that we were sharing our locations with each other. I looked it up and she did take that five hour drive. I didn't think twice, I got up, threw anything on, and left the house at 4:00 am.

I arrived at Lily's parents house a little after 9:00 am. When I knocked on the door, her mom opened and looked completely shocked. "Luka? I thought you had meetings and couldn't make the visit." I nodded. "I canceled everything. I missed her too much, is she here?" She shook her head, "You just missed her. She went to breakfast with Paola. Bring your bags in." I did, I placed them in the room and told Mama Maria that I was going for a drive. I got to the small cafe and contemplated going in or waiting for her to come out. I finally decided to just go in since it's less likely she'd yell or leave. Someone went in ahead of me and I heard some commotion coming from inside. The people in front had stopped and weren't moving. The minute I heard him say he bet I left her already, my blood boiled. I started pushing through the people and heard a smack. Then heard him ask how dare she. When I finally got through all I saw was him raising his hand at her. I saw Paola pull Lily. "I will kill you if you lay a finger on my girl!"

I was beyond upset. My eyesight was blurring in anger. I dragged him by the arm he assumed he'd hit her with. My girl! My pregnant girl! I dragged his pathetic self out of the cafe and started beating him up. I could hear people but couldn't see them. I could hear cars pulling up. I could hear doors closing, footsteps, and Paola crying. Suddenly, I was being pulled off of Jacob by two people. I felt someone bear hug me. I heard him speak. "Leena needs you Luka." And it was as if nothing else mattered. Then I heard a panicked "Leena!" I turned around and saw her falling. I ran so fast and caught her right before she hit the ground. "Lily. Baby please." I was crying. I was scared. Not again. Lila. Lily started waking but was still out of it. I picked her up and ran to the car I put her in and rushed to the driver's seat. I needed her to get checked right then. I needed to know she would be ok. And our baby girl would be too.
