That evening we all had dinner together. My moms household, Luka and I, Paola and her parents. No one brought Jacob up. No one brought up nothing that was negative. We were all gathered in the living room when Luka whispered in my ear. "Did you want to let everyone know, or did you want to wait until next time?" I shrugged. "You can announce if you'd like." I gave him a small smile. "But just let them know not to spread it to anyone else. It's so soon and I want everything to go smoothly." He nodded and had a really big smile. "Everyone." He said it pretty loud. Dad looked at him first, then mom, then everyone else slowly. "We're leaving tomorrow morning and wanted to give you all an update on everything that happened at the hospital. Jasleena didn't want to tell anyone until she spoke to someone in specific. And since she did we are ready to spread the news to you all. Please respect that we'd only like for everyone in the room to know since it's still so early on. We are expecting a baby. Jasleena is just a few weeks along."

Everyone stood rooted to their spots. In complete shock. Except for mom and Paola since they already knew. "I'm going to be a grandmother!" Of course my mom yelled out. Then Tia, "Oh Lord my baby is having a baby!" She went towards me and hugged me tight. Dad was just staring at both Luka and I. My sisters came and hugged me. Tio congratulated us. Paola didn't really say much because we had already spoken before. The night continued. Eventually dad spoke to Luka. And then came to me and hugged me. "You'll be an amazing Mom Leena. It's a bit soon but either way I'm proud of you." I smiled, "I love you dad."

The following morning we had breakfast with everyone. Got our stuff all packed up and into the car. We said our goodbyes to everyone. Paola swung by before I left to say goodbye. "You can always come visit, you know. And escape home for a little." We both smiled at each other. She nodded and hugged me. "I love you Leena, until next time." Luka and I went towards the car. And started our trip back home. The drive was uneventful. And by the time we got back to our home. We ordered take out, ate and prepared for bed. Working for the school system I still had the following week off. But Luka had work in the morning. We cuddled until we both fell asleep.
