It's Christmas Eve. I had woken up feeling extremely sick. I snuck out of bed, trying not to wake Luka and headed straight to the bathroom. I threw up. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Went back to the room and Luka was starting to get up. I didn't mention it to him because I knew he'd try to make me get checked. And it being Christmas Eve, I refused. I walked towards the bed and gave him a kiss on the lips gently. "I'll be in the kitchen." I said quietly as I turned and headed to the kitchen. Maybe a coffee would help.

Going in there, mom was already making coffee. "Good morning mija." I gave her a small smile. "Good morning Ma. Is Tia coming early today or just at dinner time?" She shrugged. "I'm not quite sure I can always call her and ask. Just let me know what you'd like to do." I nodded and smiled. I loved my mom so much. "Can you ask her to come for a bit alone?" She looked at me but didn't say anything. She nodded, handed me a mug of coffee with toast and left the kitchen. She came back quickly with her phone, texting Tia. She took a sip of her coffee and her phone pinged. She looked at it and read it. "She'll be here in about twenty minutes." I nodded and finished up my toast and coffee.

I went to the room and grabbed some clothes to take a quick shower. When I was back in the room after my shower Luka was finally up. "Love, my Tia is coming within the next five to ten minutes to talk to me." He gave me a small smile and nodded. "You'll do great. I'll be showering while you do that." I nodded and walked towards him. He wrapped his arms around me, his head against my tummy. Since he was sitting on the bed as I was standing. "Leena! Your Tia is here." We heard mom yell out. Luka gently pushed me back a bit for him to get up. He kissed my forehead, "You'll do great. At least this time I'm here so you can come run to me." He smiled really big and I nodded. Gave him a small kiss on the lips and headed to the living room. Where I assumed she'd be. She quickly went and hugged me. "Do you want to speak outside?" I nodded and followed her to the back porch.
