Luka

I waited. Hours. But I waited. I sat there and waited til she got out of the shower. When she finally did I called her name. I wasn't sure if she was going to want to speak. I wasn't sure if she'd ignore me again. I wasn't sure if she still wanted to be alone. But I just wanted her to know that I was there. And I would always be there for her as long as she let me. I heard her call out my name. You could hear the pain in her voice. I instantly got up and wrapped my arms around her. I held her and she began to sob. My poor Lily. She had gone through so much in the  past few years and did not deserve anymore pain.

We stood like that for a bit. When I felt her breathing better, I began to let go of her a bit. She clung on to me, so I wouldn't let go. But, I just wanted to look at her face. "Lily, love. I simply want to look at you, I am not letting go." I chuckled as she pouted. I held her with one arm and picked her face up with my other hand. She had her eyes closed when I lifted her head. "Open your eyes, love." She clenched her eyes even tighter. I chuckled. So that's the game she wanted to play. So, I began to tickle her. At first she was moving around and trying to get me to stop. She held in her laughs and kicked around. "Luka..." She said in between laughs. I stopped and held her body close to mine. "Lily?" I cocked a brow, in question. She gave me a small smile. And even if it wasn't a huge one, it melted my heart.

"Lily, can we talk now?" I walked us to the bed. She didn't say a word though. "You don't have to if you don't want to. But can you at least listen to me?" She nodded. "Jasleena, I have always made it a priority for you to know how much you are loved. How much everyone that matters cares about you. How much I care for you. How much I love you. I need you to lean on me and trust me. I need you to know that I will put an end to this. That I will get all this off the internet. I need you to know that I will forever love you Jasleena. Yes we wanted more children, but Lily, who said we couldn't adopt a baby?" I looked right into her eyes. They were watery as if she was about to begin to cry again. "Please, don't cry love. I don't want you to cry over anyone's crap. You will overcome this speed bump. We will get through this and everything else that heads our way." I kissed her forehead. "We got this Lily. We always will."
