Teagan: I'm not sure about marriage, we're both very young and neither of us have even gone to college yet, but on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd probably say my love for Nettie is at about a 100!!

Nettie: It's not short for anything! I was named after Nettie Maria Stevens, an American geneticist. I guess it was my parents telling me I can do great things just like her!

Bisexual Old Woman: My name is Lillian-Anne! Quite long and boring if I do say so myself. You can call me Lilly or Anne or Lilly-Anne, or whatever else you'd like!

Nettie: To be honest, I'm not quite sure! Teagan is a wonderful person and a wonderful girlfriend, but I'm very young and I have my whole life ahead of me! Millions of things to do, and millions of people to meet! Right now, I don't want to think about the possibilities of break-ups or marriage or whatever! I just want to spend all the time I have with my lovely girlfriend.

Bisexual Old Woman's Husband: My Wife is loyal and loves me very very much, and so am I, but sometimes we check out men and women together. Just some window shopping heheh! I'm sure she gets tired of looking at my leathery face from time to time!

Teagan: I love that she's so kind and thoughtful and organized 24/7, she really helps me get my shit together. I'd be a mess without her.

Nettie: I plan to major in architecture, so I'll probably be taking lots of architecture, mathematics, and art classes!

Teagan: Yeah, it's something I've always wanted to do. Now that my friends support me, I'm gonna give it a try!

12. @meg_meg10 : (Me) Author: what inspired you to write this? Also are the characters based on anyone irl?
I was inspired to write this after reading an amazing book by my good friend yeticalsyd! You should definitely check them out, they're an amazing writer and an even better person!
Also, my characters are based some of my friends in real life! Teagan and Nettie are loosely based off myself, Nettie being more tied into my sexuality and Teagan being tied into my emotions and troubles!

I thought long and hard about this... I'd have to say Mason! I didn't intend on making him a main character, nor did I Kari, but I loved them both so much (and you all did, too!) that I just HAD to include them more! He really helps me, as well as characters in the story, cope with their problems, and writing him calms me down a lot.

14. @queenbeelike246 : (Nettie) To who would you devote getting your degree for in college?
Nettie: Not to sound self-absorbed, but me. If I can't do this for myself, who should I be doing this for? Architecture has always fascinated me, and being an architect has been my dream for a long time, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the entire world!

Destiny: Hello Ryleigh! Sure thing, I'd love to help. Demi is the lack of sexual or romantic attraction until a strong bond has been formed. This usually takes a long time, which is why it differs from normal crushes or relationships! I hope that made sense, I'm sure there's lots of articles and experts you could hear from that could explain it way better than I could!

Teagan: A lot less crazy stuff. Neither of us would have a girlfriend, hell, Nettie might have even found out she was bisexual, she wouldn't have made as many friends, and I would be even more of a mess than I was now... I guess it was pure luck! And a lot of random bored texting...

Teagan: To say the least... I would've had a very sad and lonely day at Disneyworld.

Definitely, cause they're the OTP duhh! But seriously, you'll get some backstory soon, and a prequel to this book IS going to come, which will feature most of the main cast (besides Nettie, Mason, and Kari), and it especially focuses on Marco and Jasper's relationship, so BE READY!

24. JuliaBall8 : (Me) ~Author~ I'm abrosexual (fluid sexuality) and if it isn't too much of a hassle, could you introduce a character that is abrosexual? I don't see representation much and I'd love to see a bit of representation. I don't mind if it's just a minor character that gets mentioned once and never again. If it's too much of a hassle, don't bother with it because it is your story and you can do whatever you want. Also I love the story!!!
I'm positive I could find some way to fit some abrosexual representation too (along with other forgotten sexualities)! Also, I'm so glad you love the story, thank you very very much!

Nettie: Pretty much the same, I guess. Not a whole lot changed. Maybe, happier? I don't know.

Teagan: Her caring and motherly attitude. She's always so positive and organized and mature and calm. I swear, we're polar opposites. Also she's adorable inside and out.

Marco: Jasper's always been questioning his labels, he's just comfortable with the label bisexual for now. As far as he's told me, I am the only person who he's truly felt happy with whilst dating, and I have no doubt that that is true.
Teagan: I know Nettie is loyal to me. I'll probably always be jealous and paranoid, but deep down, I believe she loves me. (Also that whole bisexual-cheating-trope is utter bullshit. Sorry if that was rude,
no offense to you or anything, I promise.)

Bisexual Old Woman: I think it's because it was very uncommon to be queer back in my day. There was a lot less exposure to the community and people thought that the whole concept was very odd. But times are changing, my dear!

Bailey: I asked my football team one day about my body problems, and they said they definitely didn't relate. Jasper actually recommended a club that Marco was a part of that deals with LGBT issues, and I joined pretty much after that and fit right in. I started my transition after high school, and luckily my parents were and are very very accepting of me, and that I am so thankful for!

Bisexual Old Woman: I don't quite remember, but I do remember them thinking I was being a strange teenager and it being some odd modern fad or something or other. They didn't really pay much attention to my actions.

Nettie: probs the one where Tea almost cussed out a five-year-old at a fancy restaurant! lol jk, I've never had a bad date with Tea, but I haven't dated anyone else. I was a lonely kid and I only ever had crushes, no boyfriends or girlfriends.

Jasper: A cheerleader in high school. I wasn't very happy with her... it didn't feel... right, I guess.

That sounds like a great idea! I'm sure that could be arranged, and I'm sure Nettie would love to dress up as the human bi flag! (I am not sure about Jasper, since he's not very comfortable with his label.)

Marco: I've been waiting to tell this story! I'm sure Jasper has a different side, but I'll tell my version!
Throughout high school, I always had the hugest crush on the runningback on our school football team. I never made an attempt to talk to him, as he had many girlfriends in high school and I assumed he was straight, like the other football players. Oddly enough, Jasper seemed to think I was cool. We had trigonometry and poetry together, so he would always talk to me in class or ask me questions. I'd try to ignore him, because if I ever tried to talk to him I'd stumble on my words or blush and sweat profusely. One day, he showed up at the LGBT+ club that Celeste, Teagan, Aries, Bailey, and myself were a part of. He said he was questioning his sexuality and he had a crush on a guy at our school. After him joining, we hung out a lot more, and he finally confessed that he liked me on Christmas Eve of our senior year. We've been dating ever since.

Aries doesn't get many questions whatsoever, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind answering a few. (Also, I'm glad you like the characters! Hopefully except for Jared, because Jared sucks.) WARNING: ARIES' MESSAGE COULD BE EXTREMELY TRIGGERING. MENTIONS OF DRUGS, DEPRESSION, BULLYING, AND SUICIDE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. Stay safe.
Aries: I've had depression ever since middle school. It was really hard to deal with in high school, and on top of that, I was questioning my sexuality and gender, which just caused me even more stress. I really began to feel happier in the LGBT+ club with my friends, and happier with Bailey. I gained so much happiness and confidence that I decided to come out. To everyone. I got random messages from classmates harassing me, calling me a special snowflake, a weirdo, and that I should kill myself. But still, I had confidence. Senior year was the last year I had to tolerate these assholes. I should come out to my family before I went to college and left forever. My family is very conservative, and I knew that they wouldn't understand or necessarily accept me, but I felt like I was ready to take that. So I told them. I told them I was genderfluid and pansexual. And they were enraged. They called me "Their Big Mistake of A Daughter", and purposely used my incorrect pronouns to spite me. Every day they brought me to church, therapists, and doctors to "fix me". My depression was terrible that week. They kept me away from school, away from my friends, and away from the LGBT+ club, the ONLY place that kept me from... being more depressed. On September 16th, I took my anti-depressants. 2 pills a day. And it made me feel a little better. So I took another two. And another two. And I kept taking the pills by the pair until I couldn't feel anymore. I never wrote a suicide note. I never said goodbye to any of my friends... I never apologized for leaving them... but the pain went away. It went away. And it never came back. But... no one else should commit suicide. It's a terrible experience. It doesn't solve pain, it just erases it for yourself and creates new pain for your loved ones. There could've been so many ways I could've fixed my problems, and I realize now suicide WAS NOT one of them. There will be people out there who love and accept you for who you are. Wait for those people. Stay Strong. 🖤

Abbey: Tea's original father is... sadly not with us anymore. He died of cancer a few years ago, when Tea was about fifteen. I do have a picture of him, yes. It's a picture he did for his job.
