"How's your project going?" Jasper said from the other side of their shared video chat.

"It's going well. I'm almost ready to submit it to the film festival. I hope Nettie doesn't catch drift of it, it's supposed to be a surprise." Teagan cracked her knuckles nervously. "I really hope it doesn't suck, though."

"It won't," Jasper assured her. "I promise. You're diligent, you're ambitious, you got this."

"I really hope so." Teagan mumbled.

Jasper smiled. "How's Nettie doing?"

Teagan sighed. "She's really busy, too. I'm so proud of her, but there's only two weeks left. I'm gonna miss her so much."

Nettie suddenly opened the door, and Teagan jumped in surprise. "You're gonna miss me? I'm not gone yet, sweetie." Teagan smiled warmly at the pet name. Nettie sighed and placed her hands together. "But... we do have limited time together, and that is why... I'm taking you to the Orlando Pride Parade!"

"We're coming too! Me and Marco and Celeste and Bailey and Destiny and Nettie's friends Mason and Kari!" Jasper suddenly blurted out. Nettie looked at him and gave him a glare. "Sorry... I couldn't keep it in."

"That's what he said." In Jasper's webcam, Marco suddenly walked out of the bathroom wearing a towel and brushing his teeth. He spat it out upon seeing the computer. "Shoot! Hi... guys... what's up? Did we tell her about the pride parade yet?" He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Yes. We did." Nettie said. "I wanted a final hurrah before we parted ways for a while." Teagan jumped up, picked Nettie up, and swung her around, kissing her cheek repeatedly.

"Thank you so much! You're the best girlfriend ever!" She squealed, making Nettie blush. "But there's no time for hugging. It's time to release the gay."
