2 years later

"I can't do this" Jonah tells me.

"Yes you can, just walk out there and sing" I tell him.

"But-"

"But nothing, I didn't force you to write your name on that sign up sheet for nothing" Buffy jumps in.

"Our next contestant, Jonah Beck" Our principal says, and the crowd cheers louder than it has all day.

"Look everyone loves you, just go out there" I push him forward.

"Cyrus?"

"For me, please?" I pout, Jonah finally sighs and gives. "Love you"

"Whatever" He adjusts his guitar strap as he walks out on stage and the crowd gets louder.

"I'm gonna go and get Marty ready for his act" Buffy sighs.

"What is he doing?" I ask.

"Making a fool out of him self" Buffy rolls her eyes and walks off.

"He's juggling" Andi says.

"He's horrible though" I say.

"Exactly" Andi shakes her head. "He's really good"

I look away from Andi and to my future husband who is standing on stage.

"1, 2, 3, I'm ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow starts today, there ain't no map to follow cause I'm with you all the way"
Jonah looks at me and winks.
"I'm ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow starts to day, there ain't no map to follow cause I'm with you all the way. All the way" Jonah finishes singing and the crowd goes wild. "Goodnight Malibu" He walks off stage.

"We don't even live in Malibu, we don't even live in California" Andi says.

"Hannah Montana reference" Jonah says in a duh tone.

"Now was that so bad?" I smile.

"Nope" He pecks my lips.

Andi clears her throat "Hi"

"Up next, Marty (insert last name here)" The crowd cheers but not as loud as they did when Jonah was up there.

"Is he juggling?" Jonah asks, and I nod my head. "But he's horrible"

Marty throws a pin in the air and it falls to the ground instantly and he laughs picking it back up and he tries again doing the exact same thing over.

"Cringe" Andi says.

One of the pins flies from his hand and you hear someone scream from the crowd causing Marty to run off the stage.

"Well at least I know I beat him" Jonah says.

"Yep" Andi and I say in unison.

"I won first place" Jonah cheers, hoisting his trophy in the air.

"Yeah you won the school's talent show, what an accomplishment" Marty says sarcastically.

"Don't take it out on me that you almost knocked somebody's head off, no offense but you stink at juggling" Jonah says.

"I do not, Buffy said I was great"

"Yeah because she's your girlfriend and she doesn't want to hurt your feelings" Andi says, and we walk out of school.

"Buffy is that true?" Marty looks at her.

"Yeah, you stink" Buffy says.

"How about we go to The Spoon to celebrate?" Jonah suggest.

"We go there all the time, how about the carnival?" Andi asks.

"Yeah let's go there" Buffy agrees.

"Okay but let me call my mom to drop us off because I'm not walking that far" Jonah stops and we all sit down on the steps of the school.

"Yay Susan!" Everyone cheers except Jonah who rolls his eyes.

"Ferris wheel!" Buffy yanks Marty's arm and pulls him closer to the line for the ferris wheel.

"Yeah you guys go in pairs and I'll get on with a lonely stranger" Andi sighs.

"No one told you to be single" Buffy mutters.

"Andi you can go with Jonah" I say looking up at the Ferris Wheel nervously, I'm not going up there.

"Are you still afraid of heights?" Jonah asks concern in his voice as he takes his hand in mine.

"Yeah, and the rumors that your head will fly off when you get on one of these things isn't helping either"

"If your head flies off I'll glue it back on" He kisses my forehead and I smile. It's creepy but it's the thought that counts.

We move up in the line and I look up letting my nerves get the best of me. What if the chair snaps off or something like that? I look at Jonah and he gives me a reassuring smile as he helps me onto the head chopper.

We pull the bar onto our lap, and that's when I panic. "Jonah I can't do this, I know you said you would glue my head back on but the scarring would be ugly around my neck and what would people say about me. Oh look that kid has good hair, but he has an ugly neck"

"Cyrus that's just a myth-" I quickly slap my hand over Jonah's mouth.

"Don't jinx it" I hiss and I remove my hand. Jonah begins rocking back and forth so I smack him the back of the head getting him to stop.

"Aye, my head" He rubs the back of his head.

"You're just trying to get your head knocked off aren't you?"

"No I'm just trying to scare you" Jonah laughs.

I jump on Jonah's back and he gives me a piggy back ride to the parking lot.

"Cyrus's you're so lazy" Buffy says.

"I know and Jonah owes me for scaring me today on every ride I refused to get on" I glare at the back of his head. "I'm pretty sure I have a bruise on my head from each time he got me to walk into a mirror in the mirror maze"

"I still can't believe you threw up on my shoes" Marty says.

"I'm sorry, I don't do good with carousels" I say.

We spot Susan's car in the parking lot and we walk towards it.

"I call shot gun!" Andi runs past all of us and jumps in the front seat.

"I call window seat!" Jonah begins to run, causing my head to bop around like a bobble head.

I get off Jonah's back allowing him to get in the car and I get in next, Marty and Buffy following behind. Causing all of us to get squished in the back seat.

"Comfortable?" Andi smirks at us and Susan laughs.

The car begins moving and I stare at Jonah until he finally turns around and snorts when he sees me staring at him. "Hi" I laugh.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"Why are you not staring at me?"

"Because I don't want to"

"So you think I'm ugly?" I joke

"No I think you're-"

"Adorable, we get it" Marty, Buffy, Andi, and Susan all say in Unison.

Everyone sits in silence listening to Andi and Susan argue over the radio, and who should be able to touch it and who shouldn't be able to.

The first person out of the car is Marty and Jonah, Buffy, and I sigh with relief as we all get comfortable.

After a while everyone is out of the car except Jonah, Susan, and I because we're all going to the same place.

As night falls I lay in my bed going through my phone and then I get a text from Jonah telling me to go the back yard.

I get up slowly not really wanting to get up and I make my way to the back yard. Once I get out there I see Jonah laying on his back in the grass looking up at the stars, I lay down next to him and I look up at the night sky.

"What do you want?" I ask kind of harshly.

"I just wanted to see my boyfriend, is that a crime?"

"Yeah if I have to get out of my comfy bed just to come sit in the grass, that's infested with bugs"

"So I'm guessing its a crime to kiss you too?"

"No, it's never a crime to kiss me" I smile.

"Good" He sits up and leans down kissing me. "I. Love. You" He says in between each kiss.

"I love you too" I say bringing my hand to the back of his neck pulling him back down connecting our lips together in a sweet tender kiss. That gets interrupted by water splashing us in the face and we pull apart to see that the sprinklers turned on.

"Oh well" Jonah shrugs and kisses me again.
