"I don't know if you've heard, but Jonah broke up with me." Amber scoffs.

"Yeah I heard...BUFFY!" I scream, my head turning towards the stairs.

Then next thing you know Buffy and Andi come running down the stairs.

"What happened did Jonah cancel? Oh no it's the witch" Buffy says.

"Nice to see you" Amber smirks "How cute you have a bodyguard"

"Better safe than sorry" I shrug.

"Anyway, I just have some information for you-" Amber starts.

"Amber?" Jonah walks up next to Amber in the doorway.

"Jonah?" I question, we were supposed to meet at the movie theater.

"Andi?" Buffy looks at Andi.

"Cyrus?" Andi says now looking at me and there's no one else's name to call, so I just stand there staring right back at Andi. "Okay fine I overhead your mom saying she wasn't going to let you walk out all alone so I texted Jonah to come and walk with you"

"Okay now that we've established that we know each others name, what is your name sweetheart and why are you in my house?" My mom walks out the kitchen looking at Amber.

"Hi nice to meet you, my name is Amber" Amber throws on one of her fake smiles, and she tried to sound all innocent.

"Hello Amber I'm Cyrus's mom, if anyone needs me I'll be in the kitchen" Then my mom leaves not even the slightest bit scared that there is a witch in disguise standing at our door, letting flies in.

"Your mom is nice, now back to what I was saying. Jonah broke up with me blah blah blah, he likes you" Amber smirks.

"I knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it" Andi and Buffy start chanting and dancing behind me and I roll my eyes.

"So, that's all I wanted to say. I hope it doesn't make anything awkward between you two, to where the point you guys can't even look at each other and Jonah would realize how much of a mistake that he has made and he'll come crawling back to me. I mean that'll be such a shame if that happened to your friendship, just thrown down the drain" Amber fake pouts.

"Cyrus?" Jonah says.

"Yeah we established the name thing already" I say.

"I know, just give me a minute to process what exactly just happened" Jonah says placing his head into his hands.

"What's there to process? You've been exposed son!" Buffy laughs.

"Amber this is another reason why I broke up with you, you're always trying to stab somebody in the back and do you really think hurting one of my friendships is going to help me get back with you? It's not, if you were waiting for an answer and I don't care if Cyrus knows that I like him"

"Then why didn't you tell him yet, you've been single for like a day now?" Amber crosses her arms, trying her best to make a point.

"You know what fine" Jonah walks past Amber and towards me cupping my face with both of his hands and kissing me right there in front if everyone.

Oh my potatoes, Jonah Beck's lips are touching mine. Mouth on mouth contact, I repeat mouth on mouth contact.

I land on my cold hard bedroom floor with a thud.

"Cyrus wake up or you're gonna miss your date with Jonah!" Buffy yells at me, and I scramble to get on the floor.

"How long was I asleep?" I ask finally standing up.

"You fell asleep as soon you got home from detention" Andi tells me.

"Oh no, I got to go" I rush for the door but Andi stops me.

"Wait, breath check" Andi says.

"Ahhhh" I say opening my mouth for her.

"Ew your breath stinks, what did you eat? Buffy we need gum"

"Gum" Buffy throws a piece of gum at Andi, which Andi hands to me.

"Okay now boogie check, hold your head back" Andi places her hands on my head and tilts it up to where she can see inside of my nose. "All clear, have fun on your date"

"It's not a date" I roll my eyes.

"Yes it is, don't do anything I wouldn't do" Buffy's says pushing me out of my own room.

"But-" Before I can finish they both slam the door in my face, and I don't even know what my hair looks like. I begin to walk downstairs "Mom I'm walking to the movies"

"Okay have fun and be safe" My mom calls out from where ever she was and I left.

Once I arrive at the movie theaters I spot Jonah playing on his phone and not paying attention at all, so I decide to scare him. I creep up next to him and I shout "Boo!" Causing him to visibly jump.

"Cyrus you scared me" He laughs.

"Really? I thought you just jumped up out of nowhere" I say jokingly.

"I already bought our tickets. We're going to go see Sharon" He shows me our tickets, and I fake smile starting to feel nervous.

Sharon your average ghost movie about a girl dying in a house and killing the new family who moves into it. 

Yay! Note the sarcasm.

"Great" My voice cracks and I clear my throat.

"Your nervous, don't worry it's just a movie and I'll be here the whole time, and if you're scared when it's over we can have a sleepover at my house so you won't be alone" So pretend to be scared when the movie is over, got it.

"Okay" I say not really knowing what to say and we walk inside of the theater together, the aroma of popcorn feeling my nose instantly.

"What type of snacks do you like?"

"Popcorn with extra butter, sour patch kids, nachos and cheese, skittles, and a large Sprite"

"Okay and now pick one thing out of that" Jonah laughs.

"You said you'll pay for what I want?" I stick my lip out and I make a puppy dog face.

Jonah sighs "Okay fine"

"No wait I'm joking, I'll just take the popcorn"

"That's more reasonable" He says taking out hit wallet and we stand in line.

"Were you really going to buy me all that stuff?" I ask curious

"Yeah, if you wanted it."

"Oh" I say not really knowing what to say, I don't what exactly is wrong me. I usually always have something to say about a lot of things I don't know if it's the nerves or that Buffy and Andi are finally getting to me, making me think that this is an actual date and if it is then this is my first date. Unless you want to count going to the carnival with Iris, Amber, and Jonah but I don't really count that. Only because I didn't want to be with the person that I was with.

"Earth to Cyrus" Jonah snaps in my face and I blink, registering what I was actually doing at the moment. "I already got our stuff come on" I notice that Jonah is struggling to carry a large popcorn and two drinks.

"Do you need help with that?" I ask.

"No, I'm good"

"No you're not" I sigh taking the popcorn from his arms.

"Thank you, are you not having a good time?"

"No I am, why?"

"You just seem out of it"

"I just have a lot on my mind"

"Same" Jonah looks to the ground and then back up at me. "I- the movie should be starting soon let's go" he rushes and I follow behind.

What was he going to say?
