I stand there hand in hand with Andi and Buffy, I take a deep breath.

"You ready?" Andi ask me, and I nod my head and she pushes open the school doors and all three of us walk in.

The atmosphere feels like it switches when we enter the building some people pointing and laughing, others flashing me smiles and patting me on the back, and others just straight up coming up to me and in my face telling me to just die.

Once I get to my locker I stop and take a breather.

"That went better than I thought, I thought I would've at least had a black eye right about now" I open my locker and I begin to take my books out.

"Isn't that Jake? I recognize him from his profile picture on Instagram" Andi looks past me and I turn my head in the same direction to see a guy I did happen to see at The Spoon yesterday.

"Yep that's him, I'm about to get suspended" Buffy tries to walk past us but Andi and I grab on to both of her arms and we pull her back.

"Violence isn't the answer, we can talk this out. Hey Jake can we speak to you?" Andi calls Jake over and he stops talking to his friends and he comes towards us with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah what about?" He asks.

"About you posting a video about him" Buffy pulls me from behind her revealing myself to Jake "Now Andi here the one that called you over here wants to know why you did it, I on the other hand wanted to know which eye you want darkened both is also an option too" Buffy cracks her knuckles, causing Jake to back up from her.

"I'm sorry if I was concerned about my friend dating some gay kid. Who didn't have feelings for her"

"One, he was planning on breaking up with her at some point-" Buffy says not really helping the situation

"I bet he was, but the little gay boy was just to scared to admit that he likes guys" Jake smirks and Buffy slaps him.

"Okay first of all don't cut me off, it's rude. Second of all, don't mess with my friends" Buffy raises her hand to slap him again, but Andi jumps on her back pulling Buffy's hands down and holding them by her waist.

"Oooh we're dealing with a bad girl" Jake teases and his group of friends that are behind him laugh a little.

"Yeah not for long, come on Buffy you need to cool down. Cyrus you got this" Andi begins to drag Buffy away, and I shake my head at her silently telling her that I don't got this but she just shows me a thumbs up until she disappears with Buffy when they turn a corner.

"So Cyrus" I turn to look at Jake and his friends who are slowly walking towards me. "You want to have some fun?"

"I would love to, but I have a class to get to" I say and I try to walk around but they just push me down, and I land straight on my butt.

"Hey leave him alone" I look behind me to see Jonah himself running towards me.

"Jonah do you actually support this guy being gay. He disgust me" Jake scoffs.

"Oh yeah? Well you disgust me, picking on someone because they're not you, because they don't raise up to your expectations of normal. News flash no body is perfect dude" Jonah squats down next to me. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah" I say gathering up my books that scattered across the floor around me.

"Why are you guys still here?" Jonah looks at Jake and his crew, if you want to call it that.

"Jonah if you stay here with this thing-"

"Oh wow so he's not even human anymore?" Jonah cuts Jake off, grabbing me by the wrist standing me up along with him. "We have a class to get to" We walk past them and Jonah make sure he slams into Jake's shoulder as we pass by. "I'm sorry about him"

"It's not your fault Jonah, but thanks for helping me back there"

Out of all things that could've happened today Jonah and I actually talking to each other wasn't one of the things that crossed my mind, the thing that did cross my mind was Jonah actually turning against me and shovi me around like Jake was just doing. I don't know why I would even think that because Jonah is a nice, cute, funny, adorable, loveable, cheesy and totally amazing guy.

I know how he just said that nobody's perfect, but he's perfect for me.

Now I sound like the cheesy one.

"Cyrus you're zoning out again" Jonah snaps his fingers in front of my face and I jump a little.

"I'm sorry" I say in a somewhat whisper. The bell rings signaling that we're supposed to be in class by now "We're gonna be late" I start to walk but Jonah yanks me back towards his him, his hand still wrapped around my wrist.

"Cyrus?" Jonah puts his finger under my chin, and he turns my head to where I'm facing him, and the sun is hitting him so perfectly. You can see a sparkle in his green eyes and the sun is making his hair look like it's a lighter shade of brown in some areas.

"Are you actually gonna say something this time, or are you just gonna say my name like a cute idiot" I widen my eyes at the realization of my mistake. "Sorry"

"No it's fine, I wanted to say I'm sorry for last night. You know at Amber's? All I could do was just say your name like a, idiot or a cute idiot" He smirks.

"Stop" I blush looking down but he tilts my head back up.

"No you stop, I told you that I liked it when you blushed. You're just adorable" he sighs.

First he calls me gnarly, then cool, he also said I look cute when I'm blushing, and now he's saying I'm adorable.

This day went from nightmare to the best dream ever real quick.

"Mr.Goodman and Mr.Beck, I would be expecting to see you guys in detention later this afternoon" My teacher,  Mrs.Rehcaet hands us our detention slips and she keeps walking "Get to class"

Jonah mutters something under his breath. "What?" I question.

"Nothing let's just get to class" He begins to start walking his grip on my wrist not un-tightening as we continue down the hall together for our first class of the day.
