Hai guys :D It's Author-Chan here!!!! I know I promised you guys that I would be doing a Neji love story and here it is!! The reason it's taken me so long to make this is because I was waiting for some inspiration and I've finally found it!! I really hope you guys like it as much as you enjoyed my last Naruto fanfic :) If you haven't read that already you should go check it out. I did start writing it when I was little so the beginning is kinda sloppy but it gets better the further you read. Anyway, I hope you guys like it <3

"Oh look, it's Naruto," a small group of 4 boys stood in a half circle around a blonde boy who had his back facing a tree, successfully trapping him. The boy looked scared as he kept looking around himself, looking for any sign of escape but backed away when he found none. The boys all smirked as they saw how scared he was, one of the boys stepped forward,

"I don't even know why you're trying to become a ninja!! You can't do anything right!!" The other boys all snickered and agreed with the first boy, "you suck at doing jutsu and you don't pass any tests ever!! You should just give up, someone like you could never become a ninja" Tears appeared in the boys' eyes and he sniffed to keep himself from crying,

"You're wrong!!!" he yelled, "I'm going to become a ninja!! I'll become the Hokage and then you'll have to respect me!!!" the boys looked at each other, then began to grin and suddenly started laughing, making Naruto jump slightly,

"YOU become Hokage?!?"  The boys all continued to laugh, one of them even held their stomach from laughing so hard. More tears appeared in Naruto's eyes and some spilled out. No matter how much he yelled and said he would become Hokage they continued to laugh at him. 

Once they had calmed down, one of the boys stepped forward and pushed him to the ground, "How could you become Hokage? You can't even defend yourse-OW!!" The boy was cut off mid-sentence as a small rock bounced off his head. The group of boys turned around and Naruto looked up to see a girl around their age. She had long black hair and brown eyes. She wore a pair of black shorts and a yellow shirt with a sun that wore sunglasses that said: "it's a sunny day".

She glared at the boys, picked up another rock and threw it at them, making them dodge and bump into each other,

"Leave him alone!!! He didn't do anything to you!! Pick on someone your own size!!!" She said as she threw rock after rock. Eventually, the boys grew tired of dodging the rocks and began to throw them back at her, making her cry out when they would hit her. 

"Stay out of this Minikui" One of the boys sneered. One of the other boys stepped forward,

"Yeah stay out of it. You shouldn't be a ninja either, you're so ugly" she glared and slapped one of the boys across the face when he messed with her hair. The boy backed away and stared at her in surprise as the other boys and Naruto looked at the bright red handprint on his face.

Minikui blinked several times before taking several steps back when the boy she slapped glared at her. She cried out as he pushed her to the ground, making her hit her arm on a rock that she hadn't thrown. The boy kicked her thigh, making her cry out again. He went to kick her again before the other boys pulled him back,

"Kaito stop!!! You're going to get us in trouble!!!" The boys successfully pulled him away from Minikui then looked between her and Naruto,

"Come on, we better go" the tallest boy who had pushed Naruto said. They all nodded and began walking away, but not before Kaito kicked dirt onto Minikui.

Naruto sniffed as he stood up and watched them leave. Once they had left his field of vision he walked over to Minikui and held his hand out to her, which she gratefully accepted,

"Thank you Minikui-san" he said quietly. She gave him a closed-eyed smile and tilted her head,

"You don't need to thank me silly!! That's what ninja do, they help people!!!!" Naruto blinked and stared at her in surprise, then grinned and nodded his head,

"Yeah!!!!" he shouted, agreeing with her. He reached out to high five her when he saw a bruise on her elbow, making his eyes widen,

"Minikui-san!! You're elbow!!" She looked down at her elbow and shrugged,

"It's fine, it doesn't even hurt!!" She said with a smile. Naruto stared at her in wonder,

"Why did you help me? Everyone else just yells at me and tells me to go away" She blinked,

"Arent friends supposed to help each other? I mean....we are friends right?" She asked. Naruto looked at her in surprise before a large grin grew across his face and he quickly nodded. Minikui grinned back and held out her hand,

"My name is Minikui of the Leaf!!! You said you wanted to be the Hokage right? Well, my dream is to someday be the Anbu captain!!!" Naruto smiled brightly,

"Maybe we can help each other achieve our dreams!!" he said excitedly. Minikui nodded her head, just as excited,

"Yeah!!" she agreed. 

They both stood there and talked for quite a while before they began to play for the rest of the day, completely forgetting the events that had transpired before. As the sun began to set and the sky began to turn different shades of pinks, purples, and blues they sat down on a grassy hill to watch the sky. 

Naruto smiled at his new friend, "Minikui, why do you want to be my friend?" he asked. She seemed surprised by the question before sighing,

"All the other kids are mean to you, just like their mean to me. I know that you don't have any friends and I don't really either so I thought maybe you and I could be friends" she explained. Naruto smiled and nodded, 

"I understand!" he said. Minikui smiled happily. They sat in silence for several more minutes before Naruto spoke again,

"How about this Minikui. If you help me become the Hokage, I can help you become the Anbu captain!!!" Minikui smiled brightly and nodded excitedly. 

They both played for the rest of the afternoon before finally heading back home for the night.
