Shimmering like the sea
Once you get comfortable and hold on to it,
It'll start to wear thin.

The more you wear it
The more stains it gets
The more you try to clean your mistakes
The more holes bore in it.

I get older and lose my shine
now you don't wear the cloth all the time
My trust is not your comfort cloth
You only wear it when no one's at sight.

Once you've had enough of me,
you'll remember my trust as your favourite outfit,
You did break my heart
But like that satin cloth, you tore my trust from within.
