It had been a long few months. Edd has been racing around like a mad man trying to piece everything together for this day, his day. This day wasn't all about him however, of course it involved one other person. One other man...the man he loved.  Edd had a bright smile on his face as he looked in the mirror. His dark locks dangled in front of his face for a moment before he pulled it all back to look presentable. Finally today was the day, his wedding day.

The Raven was getting married to his childhood bully. It's so funny when he actually thinks about it but he couldn't be any happier. The two met as children, grew up together and grew together. It all started in highschool officially when Kevin, the quarterback of the football team publicly announced that he was 'stupidly in love with a dork.' Immediately, everyone knew who he was referring which of course caused a mixed reaction between peers. Some were happy, some were mad. Life sure wasn't easy after that. Day after day Edd would get bullied but Kevin was always there to stick up for his boyfriend, the dork he was stupidly in love with.

After highschool, the two applied to different schools and times were hard. Visits during the holidays and hours upon hours of FaceTime calls were not enough but they made it. Times sure were hard though. Edd was struggling to pursue his actual dreams as Kevin was nearly killing himself on the field to keep his scholarships so that he could become a pro and properly support the both of them...and one day even more, a family. The boys were always tired but the thought of one day owning a home with children running around along with animals made them both work even harder. Because at the end of the day they had love.

Immediately after graduation Kevin couldn't even wait. He was stupidly in love and he just had to ask the most important question of his life. "Eddward Marion Vincent, will you marry me?" That question instantly had a response. The answer was simple, Edd had known the answer all along. "Yes." And with that promise, the two embarked onto the future. Their future. They began renting a small apartment in the city so Edd had close access to his job. Kevin had quite a commute to the football field but it was worth it to see his dork smile.

Wedding planning was simple but crazy at the same time. The two had vastly different ideas but in the end they compromised because they realized this day wasn't about just one person, it was about them. The football star and the science nerd who are stupidly in love.

Once the day finally came and the vows were made eternal, it was time to dance. I swear, a classic ballad began to play throughout the hall. Kevin grabbed his new husband and pulled him close. For better for worse, till death do them part. These two are bound forever and only have eyes for each other. They started off as rivals but formed into something completely different. They grew together, they worked for each other and with each other. Now it was final.
