Ryan's POV

Ryan walked into the new paranormal section of buzzfeed it was quite, it was only him and his co host Brent Bennet at the moment , they worked on a show called buzzfeed unsolved, Ryan had absolute passion for the show in his spare time he would research the paranormal and everything in between,him and Brent had a lot of fun on the show making jokes and talking about crimes and paranormal things, the show was fairly new it definitely wasn't making as much money as the more popular shows on buzzfeed but the fans that had seen it had no doubt fallen in love with the show, Ryan sat down at his new desk the extension to the buzzfeed building looked about the same to the normal building, in his spare time Ryan did something different then his other friends at buzzfeed during the weekend his coworkers would probably go to the bar or relax at home, Ryan had a different turn he was a practicing witch he had his own coven(group of witches) they would practice magic ,praise gods and Goddesses they all were friends what sets them apart from different covens they did more physical magic they could make things evaporate make beautiful partials out of thin air ,they made spells they were all very nice and happy with each other. But there are rules they you could break starting,Never could tell anyone about there magic like showing them, or telling them. Never to insult the gods,and the number one rule Never summon a demon. Ryan shivered at the thought of going behind his covens back. They had taken him in when he was wondering who he was and showed him true magic he was forever grateful for that. He opened up the blinds that uncovered a giant window that could display light all over the area he walked back to his desk and got everything in order he tried to turn on his computer,still dark, he pressed it again,still dark he pressed the on button a couple more times damn it first day here and my computer broke"ugh" he groaned hitting his head on the table maybe...maybe he could fix this with some magic he looked around to see any people none,great. He focused his energy to his hand as he closed his eyes imagining the magic coming out "What are you doing dude" Brent asked, he quickly opened his eyes tiny purple particles were starting but nothing that the human eye could see not if they looked for it, he fell back in his chair Brent laughed "dude it looked like you were trying to fart" he said laughing ryan huffed and blew some hair out of his face as she stayed on the ground still sitting on the floor in his chair, Brent leaned down at the waist and poked him in the cheek "come on dude we need to discuss a video idea" he said stuffing his hand in his pockets laughing. Ryan perked at the chance to share what he researched he stood up fixing his chair as he grabbed his stack of papers walking next to Brent's side as they walked to the meeting room it was really awkward considering that they only had two people in the new area so it would just be Brent and Ryan, Brent opened the door for Ryan as he skipped in as took his usual seat at the end of the table as Brent took his spot at the other end of the table so they were forced to look at each other "so here's what I have so far" he said as Brent rolled his eyes as he knew that he was in for a 3 hour meeting Ryan rambled on about aliens and Area 51 too Mexican folk story's Brent was never let down he was an avid researcher he had to give him that the he ran the whole show he was just his co host, "ok that's what I have so far I now it's a little less then last time" Ryan said a little ashamed he would of gotten more of it wasn't that he stayed so long at the forest with his coven collecting herbs, Brent stood up "hey dude wanna go to the bar the try guys invited us" he said Ryan thought for a moment he could go out and meet new people but he needed to be at the coven tonight to make a spell "sorry dude I got something going on" Brent groaned "come on you have something going on every night" he said "well I'm a busy guy" he said shrugging. Ryan made his way over to his desk grabbing his phone, he waved goodnight to his co host walking into the dark parking lot looking at his watch "Shoot" he said running to his car turning it on, he was late speeding out of the parking lot he got onto the road then the freeway it was fairly late at night so there weren't many people

He got out of the car slamming the door running into the building. They never had a proper building they would just use some abandoned building, they all had to be at the meeting at 10:00 pm it was 9:53 he ran into the building not having time to say hi too his friends he scrambled into a random room with a door, locking the door slipping his pants off and struggling to take off the shirt he got into his uniform putting the rest of his clothes in his bag rushing out he stopped in the man room with two other girls "AM I LATE" he said panicking looking around the room "calm down Ryan you had" she said looking down at her watch and back at him "4 minutes left" he breathed a sigh of relief as his uptight posture turned to his normal one "so hows the new job going" the lady with the brown hair said as they started to walk down the hall together "oh normal, they added a new section for the paranormal" he said telling the both of the girls. What he loved is that him and the other girls never really had any interest in him except being friends this made him happy, in a weird way it was cool to be around women more then men "so are we doing that new spell today" he asked the blonde one "oh...I don't exactly know" she said scratching her head "meh I honestly don't care" he said shrugging going into a 'meeting room' it was just a room with some chairs and food, today they had tacos he took a couple and shoved them in his mouth "Dear god these are good" he said he sat on his chair three seats away from the left of the sun he never understood what that meant but he didn't question it ryan checked his Instagram looking through it for awhile he put his phone down and sighed playing with the sleeve of his uniform pulling the sleeve up and down tapping his foot "morning everyone" Maria said entering the room everyone said hello as she sat down at the head of the table "so we will be continuing our spell"

Ryan practically dragged himself out of the room godamn it he was tired he didn't even wanna change "Did the Aphrodite take that much out of you" the blonde lady said putting a hand on his shoulder "maybe" he said slightly laughing as his posture was slumped over, he was to tired for this. The blonde lady laughed as they said their goodbyes Ryan walked into the room where he left his bag as he swooped it up walking out of the building, he got to his car as he threw his bag to the backseat, he got behind the steering wheel as he groaned starting the car driving home, by the time he was on the road he had his window rolled down stopping at a red light as he tapped his finger on the outside of his car holding the steering wheel he looked to his left watching the people walk down the sidewalk, he weakly smiled at them laughing, he hadn't even noticed when a slick blood red car was next to his car, he looked at the window with the tinted windows, he arched his brow as he silently appreciated the cars paint job, the window slowly came down, there sat a man with beautiful brown hair and a bit of a beard, Ryan blushed at his beauty, he probably had some friends to hang out with tonight, it's not that Ryan didn't have friends, it's just he was introverted as hell and didn't want to make a fool of himself, he was looking off into space as a wolf whistle was heard, he quickly turned his head to the red car "lights green baby" he smirked winking at the man as he speed off into the night. This made Ryan blink himself back to reality "h-huh!" He said, but the man was already gone. A loud honking horn was heard behind him as Ryan quickly stepped on as he rode straight on

———time skip to Ryan's house———

He fumbled with his keys as he slowly opened the door wanting more then anything of the sweet release of sleep, he threw his bag onto the couch. He face planted right onto his bed groaning. He kicked his shoes off as he changed his shirt and pants as he slithered into bed charging his phone as he let his eyes close

A disclaimer I will put for this story is that I respect both men's relationships this like I said takes place in a alternate universe where both men are gay/ bi and Shane is a demon, not saying that Shane isn't a demon, but I just wanted to say that uwu!
