So I was being careful to use my Nen because I don't want to put myself into danger. Oh and I forgot to mention, my body would weaken when I reach my limit and I won't be able to fully recover in three days so sometimes I only summon someone if it's an emergency or... if I'm bored.

That's pretty much how my Nen works. Even though it may seems like an awkard Nen ability, I never regret choosing it.

"Y/n! Can you come down here for a second? I need you to get me something from the store." The voice of my dad, a.k.a Dylan, snap me out of my thoughts.

"Coming dad!" I rush down the stairs, got the money, put on my shoe and remembered what Dylan told me to get.

"He could be weird at times." I said to myself as I read the things that he wanted me to buy.

1. A piece of small wood
2. Toilet Tissue
3. A Comb
4. Scissor
5. Door knob
6. Water

"Well, scratch that. He's always weird but... he's a loving father." I said to no one in particular.

Yeah, and I love him just the way he is but, why would he send me to buy all this things? Normally he's the one who buys heavy things. Maybe he's busy? Yeah, maybe

After I bought all the things on the list, I left the shop and started walking back home. I stop at an alleyway, that lead to a short-cut from my home and thinked to myself.

If I take the long way, it will be really tiring and... I'm too lazy to walk for a long time so...

I decided to take the alley-way. The place gave me a bad feeling but I kept going. While I was walking, I heard another footstep following behind.

I gulp to myself as I prepare myself to look behind me.

Alright, come on Y/n, you can do this! Three... two... on-

Before I can even finish my countdown, something or someone grab me from my mouth and pulled me backwards.

I drop the things that I was holding and tried to remove the hand that was covering my mouth, but I failed.

"Don't try anything or you'll die." From the tone of the voice, I could tell that it was a man.

I won't be able to summon someone if I can't even speak! Dammit!

Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes as I struggle to escape the person who might be kidnapping me.

Somebody please, help me!

Flashback

"Y/n, how can you defeat me if you keep panicking? When you're fighting someone, you should calm down so you could think about how to fight your enemy back and defeat them."

End of Flashback

The words of Dylan rung in my head and it made me calm down. I blink my tears away and breathe slowly. As I start to feel calm, I look around and plan my escape. All I need is to be able to speak.

After some time passes, I found an opening when the man was turning around the corner. I immediately step on his foot and he grunt. He loosen his grip on me.

Taking the chance, I bit his hand and heard him scream in pain. I push his hand away and dash forward but thanks to my clumsiness, I stumble forward and fell on my butt.

Turning around, I saw the man wearing a black jacket and a black mask covering his entire face that only his red eyes were showing.

He charge towards me and I didn't have to think twice for using my Nen.

"I summon you by my side, Killua the Chocolate lover!" I extended my hand in front of me and it glowed f/c.

A glowing light appear just in front of me and a familiar white haired best friend of mine was now standing before me, with f/c balloon on his mouth, which he seems to be blowing it.

A 'Happy Birthday' word was written on the balloon.

Normal POV

"What the..." As Killua was still processing what just happened, he saw you down the ground with a terrified face on and a screaming man behind him.

It only took two seconds for Killua to understand the situation and he trip the man who was charging towards you.

Without letting go of the balloon, Killua appeared behind the man and karate chop his neck, making the man fall down the ground.

You sigh in relief when the man fell unconscious. You then look at Killua who bent down beside you.

"Thank you so much for saving me!" You exclaim and hug Killua.

Killua flinch in surprise then tried removing you from your hug.

"B-baka! Let me go!" Killua growl as he annoyingly but carefully push you away from him.

"Geesh, you're still as grumpy as ever! Is that how you greet your bestfriend whom you haven't seen in a long time?" You puff your cheek into a pout while glaring at your so called bestfriend.

"First of all, a month is not a long time. Second of all, I am not grumpy!" Killua pointed out and you just rolled your eyes.

"A month for me is like forever! Time goes so slow when you're stuck in a room without doing anything you know." You cross your arms and look the other way while closing your eyes. "I guess you didn't miss me at all."

"Oh come on now, I did... miss you bu-" Before Killua can even finish your sentence, you cover his mouth and grin in triumph.

"Aha! Finally, I made you agree that you miss me! I win." You poke his forehead and stood up while dusting your clothes.

When Killua realize what he just said, he jump back and point a finger.

"You trick me you cheater! You manipulated me with your summoning powers!" He scream and you shrug.

"Baka, I'm a Specialist NOT a Manipulator. Besides, my summoning power cannot make you tell the truth. It only teleport someone from another place THEN beside me. That's how my Nen works." You pointed out and Killua playfully rolled his eyes.

Noticing the balloon on his hand, you wonder what it was for.

"By the way, what is THAT for?" You ask as you pointed at the balloon that Killua was holding.

Killua widen his eyes as he realize what you just discovered.
