"Siwoo, just do as I say. I don't care about anything. Don't do it by yourself hire someone else for the task.", Hyunsik howled over the phone.

"OK...boss!"

"Make sure to hurt him immensely. I wanna see him in pain.", he roared before cutting the call.

Hyunsik has totally gone berserk after watching Amber and Hyunjin together. He has thought he would atleast change Amber's perspective about him but after noticing her discomfort towards him he was blown out of his mind. He has lost all his patience and sanity and now what he has decided to do was far beyond ethics.

"Yes...appa! I got everything that you ordered.", Hyunjin remarked over the phone which he was adjusting between his left ear and shoulder as his both hands were occupied with the groceries bags that his father has asked him to bring.

"Its your girlfriend, dumbo not your appa.", Amber's annoyed voice rang from the other side of the phone.

"Huh?", Hyunjin rebuked, "What are you doing in my house and where's appa?!"

"Ohhh...wow! So welcoming?!", she taunted, "Its not only your house understand its my house too and I can be here whenever I wish. Don't you dare to question!"

Adjusting the two bags in his right hand, he held his phone in his left hand, "I never denied it. Ok..now tell me where's appa?"

"He is in the kitchen preparing for the dinner. He asked me to call you to know where you got lost."

"I'm not lost. I'm on my way."

"Come soon...I'm missing you!", Amber whined.

Listening to her whiny voice, Hyunjin chuckled softly as he can clearly imagined Amber must be pouting.

"Don't make that cute pouty lips. You know I can't resist your pouty lips."

"Then just come to me faster and give me a tight hug and a long kiss.", she whispered.

"Anything for you, ba......Aaaaahhh!"

His words were not even finished when his high pitch scream echoed in the phone.

Scream which was the reault of a hard hit on his head. The phone and groceries dropped from his hand and crashed on the ground.

Sonebody had hit him on the back of his head with a baseball bat. The hit compelled him to drop the things from his hands and to stumble a bit on his feet. With his hand on the wounded part he turned around to see the attacker. But before he could see that person his attacker again hit him on his temple which forced him to let out a heart ripping scream.

"HYUNNIE...", Amber yelled at top of her lungs over the phone, "....what happened? Where are you? What's going on? Hyunnie....Hyunnie...are you alright? Answer me please!"

Amber has clutched the phone tightly in her hands and was trying to get to know what was happening. But she had no idea that her boyfriend was being attacked by some anonymous attacker.

Hyunjin has collapsed on the ground. His head was spinning and eyes were about to close when he felt a tug on his shirt collar. The attacker grabbed his collar and pulled him up mercilessly.

After those two massive hits on the head, Hyunjin was left defenseless. He has no strength left in his body. His attacker then punched him hard on his face under his eye and then again on his jaw.

He let go off his collar which caused Hyunjin to crashed on the ground. His attacker didn't stop there...he continued to hit him with his leg on Hyunjin's stomach...hips...legs...chest wherever his foot landed.

Hyunjin's painful agonising scream echoed in the vicinity but noone was there to help him. After getting hit for nth times Hyunjin's eyes finally gave up and everything around him turned black.

The attacker still kept hitting him continuously but when he noticed Hyunjin wasn't reacting he paused. Then only the murmuring sounds from the phone grabbed his attention. He trotted closer to the phone and stomped his foot hard on the phone causing it to break.

"Hyun....", Amber's voice got choked in her throat and she was left stunned.

Seojoon also got there when he had heard Amber's scream. He queried many times but Amber couldn't answer him anything. She clutched the phone tightly and just kept screaming Hyunjin's name over the phone.

Seojoon was worried when he saw Amber stopped screaming and the phone simply dropped from her hand and landed on the wooden floor.

"Amy...", Seojoon called out worriedly, "...what happened? Where's Hyunnie?"

"I....I don't know,, uncle...I don't know! I heard his screams. Something has happened to him.", she rambled out.

Seojoon picked up the phone and immediately dialled Hyunjin's numbet but as the attacker has destroyed the phone, the call didn't connect, leaving Seojoon and Amber worried and restless.

"His phone is not connecting.", Seojoon complained in choked voice.

"Let me call oppa.", Amber remarked and immediately contacted Namjoon.

Informing the whole scenario, she dialled the emergency number. Cops heard her and they put Hyunjin's number in survillence in no time.

Soon they got the last location of his phone and when they reached there they found scattered groceries... broken pieces of phone and dried blood. They inquired to the peopke and then got to know about the incident that some people found Hyunjin in wounded state and they took him to the nearby hospital.

Cops arrived to the hospital and from there they got the information about Hyunjin being attacked and was on the verge of dying. Cops understood the sensitivity of the situation and by examining the initials reports of Hyunjin's condition it was clear to them that someone with a killing intention has attacked Hyunjin. Someone who wished to hurt Hyunjin immensely.

Soon Seojoon, Amber, Jin, Namjoon and Junseo arrived in the hospital. As soon as they arrived they immediately darted towards the emergency ward where they got to know that Hyunjin was in ICU and his condition wasn't stable.

Seojoon's knees wobbled and gave up. He plopped on the chair outside the ICU as if all his strength drained out of his body leaving him weak.

"Uncle...", Amber caught hold on him, "...please! Don't...don't lose hope. Hyunnie will be fine.", she uttered in a choky voice.

Junseo too sat beside him and placed his arms on his shoulder.

Patting slightly on his shoulders, he spoke, "Mr. Hwang, don't panic. Have faitg on god. Don't lose your hope. Nothing gonna happen to our Hyunnie. He is our strong boy isn't it!"

Seojoon didn't uttered anything just nodded his head. Junseo eyed softly at Amber and Jin gestured them to sit beside Seojoon. Both of them obliged him.

Junseo then padded closer to Namjoon who was standing near the entrance of the ICU just to be there if doctor ask for something.

Placing his hand on Namjoon's shoulder, he muttered in soft voice, "Namjoon, I think we should take things in our hands. According to the police's investigation of the scene I don't think the attack was for money."

"I'm also thinking the same, appa.", Namjoon agreed to him, "Don't worry! I'll myself look into the matter."

Junseo passed him a quick grin and patted on his shoulder. He then turned his heels towards Seojoon.

After few more hours of painful waiting finally the doctor informed that Hyunjin was now stable but they would keep him under observation for 24 hours as those 24 hours were crucial for him.

They all wanted to meet him but doctor said only one of them could go inside and see him without disturbing him. Seojoon went inside while others waited outside.

Eventually, after 10-15 mins Seojoon came out of the ICU with moist eyes.

"How's he?", Amber bolted as soon as Seojoon came out.

Seojoon took a deep breath before speaking, "He is unconscious. His face is full of bruises. The attacker has bitten him so mercilessly. I can't see my Hyunnie in this state.", he broke down in tears.

"Please, uncle...don't become so weak. You have to be strong. We all should have to be strong for our Hyunnie.", Jin tried to console him, "Please don't cry please!"

Hyunjin was injured severely. He has got head injuries...multiple fractures in ribs and his jaw was also broken. Doctor has told that it would take a month or two for Hyunjin to get recovered fully.

After 24 hours of observation doctor informed that Hyunjin's condition is stable and now there was nothing to worry about. It'll take time to heal but the good part was he was out of danger.

10-15 days later when Hyunjin was able to eat and drink, doctor transferred him to normal ward and that was when Amber and Hyunjin got the chance to have some alone time.

"Yew...the taste of this medicine is so awful. It leave a bitter taste in my mouth.", Hyunjin made a disgust face gulping down the medicine.

"Bitter taste?", Amber narrowed her eyes.

Hyunjin averted his eyes towards Amber and then something hit his brain. He smirked at her and held her hand.

Amber watched him cluelessly. Threading their fingers together, he pulled her closer to him.

"Yes...a bitter taste but you know what you can help me to get ease of this taste."

"Me? How?", she raised her brows.

Hyunjin loosened the grip from her hanf and cupped her cheek. Caressing his cheek softly with his thumb, he leaned towards Amber's face.

Amber got the cue but then also she didn't pulled herself away which made Hyunjin to smirk more and he filled the gap berween his and Amber's face.

Both of them closed their eyes and felt the warmth of each other's lips... breaths blending with each other.

Enjoying each other's love the coupke fetached from each other when they ran out of oxygen.

"Mmm...now I'm feeling better.", Hyunjin spoke wiping the saliva from Amber's lip, "The strawberry flavour of your lip balm helped to fade away the bitter taste of the medicine."

Amber pushed him slightly playfully, "Behave, Mr. Hwang! Don't forget we're in hospital."

Hyunjin pouted at her, "I know and its making me more sick. I wanna go home."

Before Amber could answer him anything doctor with one nurse barged in the cabin. After all the regular check ups and examining the recovery rate, doctor beamed.

"You're recovering fast, Hyunjin. In this rate you'll be able to go home in few days."

"Exactly in how many days, doctor?", Hyunjin couldn't hide his desperation which made him to earn a light smack on his shoulder from Amber, "Hyunnie...shush!"

Doctor chortled watching them, "Its fine, Amber! I can understand hospital environment is not likeable for most of the people but I'm sorry to say Hyunjin you have to endure it for few more days...aaanhh....", then he remembered Hyunjin's words, "...exactly 20 days more. Is it OK with you?!"

"Yes, doctor, its fine! Absolutely...we don't wanna go home in hurry and then face some complications. We'll go home when you'll give a clean chit to Hyunjin's health.", Amber uttered before Hyunjin could throw out some syllables from his mouth, eyeing to him sternly.

Doctor gave them a warm grin and left.

"You want me to rot here?!", Hyunjin said annoyingly.

"No...I want you to get well here!", Amber replied, adjusting his bed so that he could take a nap for awhile.

"Why you lowered my bed? I don't wanna sleep. After so many days I gottachance to be with you and I don't wanna lose it by sleeping.", he held her hand.

Amber covered him with the duvet and took his hand in her hands, "I'm here only. You should sleep for a while so that the medicines will work better. Now the most important thing is your health. Once you get better then we'll go for a vacation. You, me, Joonie oppa, Jinnie oppa, uncle and appa. It'll be so much fun."

She stared at him with beaming eyes which compelled him to flash a smile, "Now close your eyes and take some sleep.", Amber enunciated, caressing his hair.

Getting the warmth of his girlfriend's magical touch, Hyunjin's eyes felt heavier and soon he slipped into a deep slumber.

"Arrghh!", Hyunsik threw all the things from the table on the ground with one clean sweep, "How come he is alive? How come he is safe and sound? Again and again my plan is failing...I'm just getting a position of a loser and M hating it...M not liking it!"

He then darted towards Siwoo who was present there to give him the information about all incidents. Hyunsik raged in anger when he came to know that Amber was there with Hyunjin from morning.

"Arrghh...", again he pushed few more things from the table and then hit the table with the palms of his hands, "...why...why...why...why always they're together? Whenever I try to separate them instead of separating, they come closer. I'm fed up of their closeness. Why they don't drift apart? Why?", he pulled his hairs in frustration.

"Boss...if you say I'll take care of that boy.", Siwoo offered.

"No...no need. It'll be risky if you'll do anything to him in hospital.", Hyunsik barred him and asked him to leave.

"I think I have to pay a visit to you, Hyunjin.", he said to himself.
