"Everything is normal. But then also I'll suggest you to take one more week rest before joining your academy.", Dr. Kang uttered while sitting on his doctor's chair.

"But doctor, its already a month and now one more week.", Amber complained in a cute pout which made the doctor to giggle.

"Miss Amber, feel yourself lucky that you got to hospital in a right time otherwise it would have been a good struggle to save you because of the blood loss. Thanks to that handsome young man who brought you here. So just one more week that's only I'm asking.", Dr. Kang raised his eyebrows and Amber nodded silently.

"How's everything going? Is everything fine?", suddenly Jin barged in the cabin.

"Ohh....Kim, its nice you came I was about to call you."

"I was called for an emergency.", Jin sat on the chair besides Amber.

"Yes, everything is fine just one more week of rest and then Miss Amber can join her academy and can get back to her normal life."

"That's great! Dr. Kang, any future complications regarding the wound?", Jin queried.

"Nope...not at all. She can continue her day to day life without any hassles.", Dr. Kang smiled and the two also mimicked back his actions.

After few more minutes of discussion they all came out of the cabin. Jungkook, who was sitting on the chair outside of the room stood up.

But before Jin could say him to take Amber home carefully Dr. Kang chimed in, "Hey....Jungkook! What a pleasant surprise?"

He stepped forward and hugged Jungkook.

"Why you're here? Is everything OK with you?"

"Yeah...Dr. Kang all is good. I'm here with Miss Amber.", Jungkook replied with a smile.

Dr. Kang furrowed his eyebrows, "Amber?"

"Yeah, Dr. Kang. Namjoon has hired him as Amy's bodyguard.", Jin answered him.

"Ohh...That's great. Mr. Kim has such a good taste of people. Indeed he has otherwise he won't be the most successful business tycoon of Seoul.", he exclaimed in pure happiness while patting Jungkook's back.

"He is the most toughest guy I have ever seen in my life. Miss Amber is really in safe hands undoubtedly."

He looked at Amber and Jin who had different expressions on their faces. While Amber smiled at Dr. Kang's comment, Jin simply pressed his lips together and lowered his head to avoid any eye contact.

"So young boy, take her home safely. She is fine but need to rest.", Dr. Kang addressed to Jungkook quite oblivion to his colleague's reaction.

Jungkook nodded his head and with a small peck on Amber's temple Jin let them go.

"How did you know, Jungkook?", Jin questioned as soon as they both disappeared.

"Jungkook?! Ohh...he was once bodyguard of one of my patient, Mr. Gong. I met him when Mr. Gong got attacked by some rogue. Jungkook saved Mr. Gong by taking the bullet on his chest."

Jin's eyes widened in shock. What he heard he couldn't believe on his ears.

"I still remembered that day when my Mr. Gong came to the hospital with Jungkook shot by a bullet. Inspite of being on death bed, he was still worried about Mr. Gong."

Dr. Kang paused for a moment to look at Jin and then again resumed talking, "I know, Kim for you and Namjoon Amber is everything. Her happiness..her safety is your first priority and there is no doubt why Namjoon chose Jungkook. Whatever happened in past just let it be in past. Now its time to just focus on our present so we can make our future beautiful. Isn't it?!"

He patted on Jin's shoulder and with a smile left the spot. Jin watched his retreating body going far from him. He let out a deep sigh.

"Its easy to say but hard to act. Sometimes what had happened in past stays with you forever. If its not the bad memories then its the fear which never leave you."

He let out a sad chuckle and while shaking his head he also left the place.

Jungkook's POV:
"Do you wanna go somewhere else, Mam?", I asked her, looking at her through the rear view mirror.

I was on the driver seat and she was sitting on the backseat. As her bodyguard it was my job to be with her anytime so there I was with her.

"Huh?", she shifted her gaze from outside the window towards me.

"I was asking if you wanna go somewhere else instead of home then I can take you.", I repeated while focussing on the road.

Her eyes lit up for a moment, "Are you serious?", but then her face changed, "No....Jinnie oppa won't be happy and he'll get one more reason to scold you.", she spoke in pout, "Let's go home!"

She again diverted her gaze outside the window. I smiled faintly eyeing her through the rear view mirror.

"Mam...", I tried to grab her attention, "....don't worry about Dr. Kim scolding me if you wanna go somewhere we'll go."

"Hmm...please don't call me 'Mam'. It makes me feel old. Call me Amy.", she stared at me through the rear view mirror.

I nodded, casting a glance on her.

"By the way....I'm sorry for the morning.", she chewed her lower lip.

I glanced at her before diverting my eyes towards the road.

"Its OK, mam....."

"Yaaah...", she interrupted me and I bit my tongue, "Aaahhh....sorry. Amy!"

"Hmm...dats better.", she smirked and turned her head towards the window.

I grinned and my mind got lost in the memories of the morning.

*Flashback*
"Oppa...please I don't wanna go with him."

I heard Amber's pleading voice as soon as I came out of my room, heading towards the dinning table.

"Amy, he is your bodyguard and from now on he'll be with you 24/7.", Mr. Kim announced in a stern voice.

With the sound of their voices I could clearly anticipate the whole situation. It would be quite embarassing so I stood where I was.

"Oppa, I didn't say anything in these two days about this but now I'm saying it. I don't want a bodyguard...I never wanted one and you know the reason already. I tried my best to accept it but please, oppa...its...its not easy to just forget everything and be normal. Atleast you come with me. Jinnie oppa will be there in the hospital. He'll drop me at home. I don't wanna be alone with him and I don't wanna go anywhere all alone with him."

With uttering those words she moved her head and her eyes landed on me. Her face stiffened when she came to know that I must have heard everything whatever she said.

"Amy, that's enough. Now you're behaving like a brat. Jungkook is a good guy and I have hired him after acquiring all the information about him. Your Yoongi oppa is the one who suggested him for you. Now don't behave this way and go get ready.", Mr. Kim's voice was calm but yet demanding.

I was froze in my place. I wanted to go there and talk to Mr. Kim if Amber is not comfortable going with me all alone then its OK for me. He should come with us.

After all what has happened with her it was nearly impossible for her to trust me...on a bodyguard.

"Amy?!", again Mr. Kim's voice resonated in the room and I noticed Amber didn't moved from her spot.

"I don't wanna go anywhere with him and I won't go. I never ever denied you but this time I won't listen. I'm not going anywhere with him and its final.", she turned her heels towards the stairs where I was standing.

Her eyes met mine. She glared at me and again turned around, trotted straightly towards the dinning table.

Mr. Kim moved his hand through his hairs annoyingly sighing. I trodged to him. When he saw me coming in an instant he gave me a quick smile.

"Ohh, Jungkook...good morning. Come let's have breakfast."

He turned his heels to move towards the dinning table, when my words halted his steps.

"I heard everything, Mr. Kim. I'm sorry it was not intentional. Mr. Kim, if mam is not comfortable going alone with me anywhere then please don't force her. Its OK for me. I can understand what she has gone through it must be hard for her to forget. It'll take time for her to have faith on me.", I tried to be polite as much as I can.

I understood his concern and also Amber's fear. I don't wanted both of them to get mad at each other because of this silly fact. Mr. Kim smiled at me and patted on my shoulder.

"Thanks for understanding her, Jungkook. Usually she never deny to anything. She does whatever we asked her to do. But this time she is really behaving like a spoiled brat.", he chuckled, "I'm sorry for all this. I should have convinced her to go to hospital with you."

Then we both walked upto the table. Mr. Kim sat on the big chair at the middle and Amber was already seated on his left. I was about to pull the chair on his right, when Amber's words halted my action.

"Its my Jinnie oppa's seat. You can't sit there. Sit somewhere else." her voice was full of annoyance and her gaze on me was furrowed as if she was digging holes in my skin through her lasser beamed eyes.

"Amy...its OK. Jin is not here so Jungkook can sit.", Mr. Kim turned to me and gestured to sit down, "Sit, Jungkook...its fine."

"What?? How can you allow him to sit on oppa's chair? Did you forgot about our pact that I'll always sit on your left side and oppa on your right side always."

Her voice sounded like a five year kid who was getting annoyed when she doesn't get what she has been promised.

Mr. Kim sighed, "I didn't forgot anything, Amy. Its just a chair and Jin is also not here. Don't make a fuss about it. Now let's have our breakfast. I'm getting late for my meeting.", then he saw me and raised his eyebrows,"Why you're standing, Jungkook? Aaah...don't listen to her just sit down and have your breakfast."

I pulled the chair and sat on it. Amber was literally shooting daggers on me. I could feel her death glares on me but I pretend to be unbothered. It was all silent only the sounds of cutlery could be heard.

"Where is Dr. Kim? I haven't seen him since morning.", I tried to break the silence.

"He is with his brother in his own home, you know where he lives. He doesn't stay here always.", Amber answered while glaring at me, "How you didn't know about it? You suppose to know everything, isn't it.... Mr. Bodyguard?"

She squinted her eyes with a slight pout on her lips. She thought she was looking scarier but she didn't knew she looked adorably cute in that pout.

It took my whole strength not to smile and keep on my cold facade.

"Amy....", suddenly Mr. Kim's raspy voice rang in our eardrums, "...where's your manners. I know you don't want him to be there with you but its not the way to talk to him. Should I make a call to your Jinnie oppa? Huh?"

She simply shrugged her head and lowered her gaze towards her food.

I chuckled mentally watching her cute gestures. How she was all annoyed and roaring like a lioness a moment earlier and when Mr. Kim mentioned Dr. Kim's name she turned all calm and mewling like a kitten.

Her transformation showed one thing that she adores Dr. Kim more then Mr. Kim.

"Did you say something?", suddenly Mr. Kim's words broke the strings of my thoughts.

I looked at him and found he was staring at Amber.

"I asked you something, Amy. Why you're behaving like a brat? You're never like this. What has happened to you today? Should I seriously make a call to Jin? Only he can control you. You're seriously getting out of line."

With shaking his head in disdain, he took out his phone from his blazer's pocket.

But before he could make a call his finger paused when Amber uttered, "Jinnie oppa only told me to behave like this with you and him."

She spoke those words while fluttering her eyelashes to everywhere instead of us.

"What?", Mr. Kim jumped on his seat making both of us flinched, "Jin told you but why?", then his furrowed eyebrows ironed out as he realised something, "Aaahh...I should have known it."

He slipped his phone back into his blazer's pocket and with a sarcastic tone he spoke, "I should have realised it earlier. You do sounded like a sassy brat Kim Seokjin."

"Don't call my Jinnie oppa brat infront of this Mr. Bodyguard...."

"Jungkook...", her words got cut off by her brother, "....his name is Jungkook." , to which she rolled her eyes.

"Whatever...oppa but don't call my Jinnie oppa brat. He just told me to behave little bratty with Mr. Body...sorry Jungkook.", she corrected herself while looking at me.

"And can I know why is it for?", Mr. Kim raised his eyebrow.

"Because then he'll leave this job and I can be alone.", she humphed entwining her arms around her chest.

Mr. Kim watched me then back to her and then the next moment burst into laughter.

"Oppaaaa~~~", a whining voice echoed in the dinning area.

I chuckled silently watching them bickering. Their relationship was so pure and innocent.

People out there must be thinking the Kim Namjoon would be living a very sophisticated and disciplined life but in real he live just like some other simple brother who love teasing his sister.

I was smiling creduously while staring at them.
*Flashback ends*

A smile crept on my lips. I watched her through the mirror. She lowered the window pane and let the rushing air to blow her hair all over her face.

"So do you wanna stop in some icecream corner?, I asked her.

She removed all her hairs from her face and tucked them behind her ears.

"No..no..", she shook her head, "Instead take me to academy."

"But...Amy, doctor has told you to take rest."

"Yes I know. Don't worry I'll not strain myself. Just wanna meet my friends."

I nodded and drove towards her academy.

Amber's POV:
After telling Jungkook to take me to academy I slouched back on the seat with a sigh.

After a week I'm gonna meet Yugy and Bamy and after about a month I'm gonna see everyone in the academy.

Soon we arrived at the entrance of the academy. I was about to step out of the car but then I immediately turned towards him and said, "Jungkook, you don't come with me...please. I mean I'm just gonna meet my friends and there is no threats inside the academy."

I tried to make him stay inside the car because I don't wanted to be embarassed infront of Yugy and Bamy.

He looked at me with cold eyes and after a moment of thought he nodded. I sequealed internally and smiled widely at him. I happily jumped out of the car and entered the building.

"Hey....Amy, how're you, darling?", the girl in reception chirped when she saw me at the entrance.

"Yes...unnie. I'm fine.", I smiled, "I'll join from next week, unnie. Just came to meet Yugy and Bamy."

Before she could reply me back two familiar voices from the back yelled my name.

"AMY....."

I turn towards the voices and saw Yugy and Bamy were sprinting towards me and before I could react they both engulfed me in their embraces.

"Aaahhh...we missed you so much, Amy. The dance practice and music sessions were so boring and ponderous without you.", Yugy stated while parting from me.

Bamy was still clunged to me so I ruffled his hair and spoke, "What happened, Bamy? Are you alright?"

Yugy nudged him slightly and then Bamy loosened his grip around me. I could sense something, how Bamy was behaving.

I looked into his eyes, "Is there something you both wanna say me?"

"Yes...", "No....", both of them spoke at once.

I stared at them confused with furrowed eyebrows. They both looked at each other and then they stared back at me.

"What happened, guys?"

"Amy...one week earlier someone came here and asked about you in the reception. Then four days ago again someone stopped us when we were leaving and tried to get some information about you.", Bamy spoke in a very soft voice, "He looked so scary in that black outfits. We were unable to watch his face as he has hidden behind mask and cap."

"When he asked us about you we got little suspicious because of his appearance so we tried to dodge him and thanks to JYPnim he ran off.", Yugy concluded.

I watched and listened to them in awe, trying to anticipate what they were saying. I didn't got the point why anybody asking about me in academy.

I mean who wanted to know anything related to me. It really made my heartbeat fast for a bit as a sense of fear run through my body. I gulped and took a sharp breath.

Bamy sensed my fear, "Amy...", he caressed my cheek, "...don't worry we have already told about that guy to Mr. Kim."

My eyes widened on this revelation, "What?? Oppa....you told to oppa??"

They both nodded in sync and I bite my lower lip.

*'That's why oppa hired Jungkook even if he know I'll be not comfortable and I was so rude to him.'*

I felt guilty at that time and sighed in distress.

"Ohh my my my....look who's here!"

Suddenly a familiar voice brought me out of my trance.

"Jack....stay away.", Yugy came infront of me by gently pushing me behind him.

"Aaahh....you two dumb bodyguards just stay in your place. You both know you can't beat me.", Jack rolled his eyes on them and then tilted his head to look at me,"Hi there, babygirl. I'm so happy that you're back. It was so dull without you now it'll be fun as you're here."

Yugy looked at me through his shoulder and then shifted his gaze on Jack, "Stay in your line, Jack. You know it very well it'll not end well for you."

"Ohh...shut up you...", Jack shouted pushing Yugy so hard that he lost his balance and fell on the ground. Head hitting on the steel chairs alligned near the wall.

"Yugy....", me and Bamy yelled in unison and Bamy was fast enough to reach to Yugy.

I was about to turn when Jack stopped by grabbing my arm tightly.

"Jack....leave her.", Yugy yelled.

I turned towards him and my eyes grew bigger. Yugy was bleeding. As his head got hit on the edge of the chair and it teared up his skin.

"Yugy...", I twisted and wriggled my arm to get rid of Jack's grip but he tightened it and dragged me with him.

"Bamy, help her.", I could hear Yugy's worried tone.

I hit his hand with my fist and kept yelling to leave me.

"Come on...babygirl, leave those two pathetic friends. Let's go and have some fun."

He kept dragging me with him to god knows where.

At that moment I regretted for stopping Jungkook from coming with me. If Jungkook was with me, he would have taught him a good lesson.

Just the moment when this thought crossed my mind, I felt a tight tug on my other arm.

I was pulled back with a force which made Jack to stop on his track. I was stunned with what just happened and snapped my head towards my arm which was held by a manly hand.

I lifted my head and my eyes met with the eyes of the owner making me sigh in relief.
