Gray POV

I woke up with a heavy feeling on my chest, I looked at my chest and was glad. On my chest my pink-haired lover was still sleeping. He looked so cute. I didn't want to wake him up, so I didn't I only kept looking at him. I was so happy, yesterday was such a hectic day. Natsu was quite a lightweight on my chest, I didn't like that though. That means he didn't eat properly when I was gone. I caressed his lovely hair, then Natsu stirred in his sleep. I stopped. Natsu winched. I chuckled. I went further with caressing his hair. "D-don't stop." Natsu said still sleepy. I had to laugh at that. "Good morning sleeping beauty." I told him. He tilted his head to look at my eyes. His perfect green like eyes. "Good morning Gray." He smiled lightly. "Did you sleep well?" He nodded. "I did, I haven't slept so good in a while. Thank you." "Silly, you don't have to thank me for sleeping together." He laughed lightly. He was clearly not his usual self still. But I guess it would take some time, I hurt him quite bad. "You're alright now Natsu." I said while caressing his hair. He tilted his head to one side, a look of confusing clearly visible in his eyes. "Why do you say that Gray?" "Well you look.. I don't know. I hurt you bad and I understand your still healing, so I was securing you that you would know that." "I know that silly. Don't push me though. Give me time to recover to my old self on my own." "I won't." I ensured him. He smiled lightly. 

"Would you want breakfast first or rather a shower Natsu?" He put his finger towards his chin. "I rather shower. I don't think I want any breakfast." I was stunned. Natsu with the endless pit of a stomach, didn't want any food. He is clearly recovering still. "Gray, don't give me that face." "What face?" "Like you've seen a ghost. Yea I can't handle food like I used to, so yea no breakfast for me. Don't make such a big deal out of it." He stood up and left the comfy bed. He was walking towards his bathroom. "Mind if I join you in the shower?" He was steaming. "I-I." I smirked. "Natsu I don't mind, but if you don't want to yet I don't mind." He turned around. "I would want to, but I don't want to at the same time." He looked shy. 

"But I also believe we won't find a temperature we both find relaxing. I chuckled, I guess that's the truth. "We will overcome that Natsu, why not try it out?" His face was red like Erza's hair. "I-I don't want you to see my body yet." I found that strange though, I mean I have seen Natsu's body on missions a million times. We even bathed together in the past, what's different. "It isn't like I haven't seen you naked before Natsu. What's the big deal in some nudity?" His face became even redder, I didn't know that was possible. Steam was erupting again from his face. "I-I." I walked towards him and took a hold of him. I put my hand around his waist and was staring in his eyes. "I really want to join you in the shower Natsu." He pushed me away. "You don't understand you exhibitionist." After he said that he turned around and walked fast into the bathroom and locked it. What did I do wrong. "Natsu, please open up. Please explain why I can't join you. Am I pushing you?" 

Natsu POV
I hid in the bathroom. I felt so bad, why did I do that. I lean against the bathroom door and let myself slowly sink down. Eventually I'm sitting on the ground leaning on the bathroom door. I feel so bad, why didn't I want it. I'm ashamed of my body. I'm afraid he would leave me if he sees my body. I hear him knocking on the door "Natsu please open up. Please explain why I can't join you. Am I pushing you?" I let a tear slip. "That's not the reason Gray." "Please tell me what the reason is, did I do something wrong?" "I don't want you to see this weak body of mine, you would hate it. Or even pity it, I don't want that." "Silly goose, that isn't a reason I would pity or hate you. I love you, I don't mind seeing how you look even if you don't look the best." That give me a little hope. I stood up slowly and opened the door on ajar. I looked into the crack. "Really?" "Yea of course silly." I opened the door. "Okay, but I don't know if I can handle it though. I feel really ashamed of it." I looked at him. He smiled. "I won't judge you of your body sweetie." I smiled lightly.

Gray POV
He finally opened up the door. We were both inside the bathroom. Now that I think of it, yesterday I already undid him of his clothes, why is he making a big deal of it now. He looked at me unsure. But he took a deep breath and undid himself for me. It kind of turned me on, but that was gone very fast, especially the face Natsu made. He undid himself and I just noticed now how light and malnourished he looked. You could see all of his bones. He still had some muscles but not his six pack like he used to. It was indeed a weak version of him. His face was the worst though he looked like he hated this body of his. "See you looked shocked. You don't like it." He said and looked at his feet. "Stop it Natsu, that wasn't what I was thinking." He looked at me with tears in his eyes. "What do you think of this weak version of me then Gray?" "I hate to see so much pain in your eyes Natsu. But.." "That isn't what I asked Gray, tell me the truth. You hate it right?" He looked for a second emotionless. "NO silly. You look weaker than I used to remember, but that doesn't matter. I love every version of you. I want to take care of you. Please just let's shower together." 

He nodded. Not saying anything. He walked into the shower, still a skinny silhouette. I stripped myself of mine clothes. I didn't even notice that I already did. I walked with him in the shower and started the shower. It was quite hard to find a temperature that we both liked. It was a little too warm for me, but still a little too cold for Natsu. "See, you find this too hot, while I think this is cold." Natsu said, he smirked a little. "NO I can handle this." I said. It didn't sound convincing though. "If you say so." He was relaxing. His facial expression was of pure delight. It was wonderful to look at him, when he was enjoying this. "Natsu may I rub your back?" He nodded and turned around. I was turned on again, but I decided not to take it anywhere sexual, Natsu wasn't ready. So I took the soap and rubbed his back he was slightly humming while I did that. So he was enjoying mine touch after all. I smirked at that reaction and wanted to test it a little. So I went lower and touched his buttocks. He wasn't expecting that so he jumped up, almost slipping in the shower. His face was red. "Gray!" I had to laugh. But Natsu didn't find it so funny. He turned around and bald his fists to hit me on the chest, not as hard. He pouted. "Stop teasing me Gray." He said while hitting my chest. I dropped the soap and Natsu slipped again but towards me. But I couldn't hold my stance so we both fell. Well Natsu fell on me. 

Naked. I blushed, but compared to Natsu, I was slightly blushing. Natsu's face was full on red. He stuttered "S-sorry. G-gray." He wanted to stand up slowly. But I took his arm and kissed him. His eyes went huge. But he melted into the kiss. We were making out in the shower. Not in a comfortable pose though. When we broke apart, Natsu directly stood up and left the shower. Still steam was coming from him. "I-I." He put his body on fire to dry him off and he left the bathroom quickly. I turned around and slowly stood up from that position. I smirked. He is even more shy than I expected. I will use it though. I left the bathroom soon after and when I came in the bedroom with only a towel on, I saw that Natsu was already dressed. "Let's go to the guild Gray." Natsu said still with a full blush on his face. "Yea darling, just putting on some clothes." I pecked him on the cheeks. I let my towel slide downwards and was searching for my clothes. I smirked when I saw Natsu's face. "Do you like what you see?" He quickly looked away. "Aw, don't be shy Natsu. Just tell me you want a piece of me?" The steam was back again. He turned around quickly and looked in my eyes and said "Of course I want that you perv." I didn't expect him to say that. "Oh. So you really want a piece of my, Natsu don't be so eager. You will get some." 

His look suddenly changed. He walked towards me and grabbed my face and kissed me hard, but full of passion. I didn't know he could kiss like that. But apparently he wasn't done. He sucked my lip, to ask for entrance. I gave him. He continued to make out he even caressing my chest. I got thrilled. Natsu was hyped up. He slowly went downwards and gave my acing erection some attention. He stroked it but after that he soon let go of it. He backed away his face still red and our saliva connecting us. He looked lustful. "Wow that was awesome Natsu." "Satisfied? Stop teasing me and bring me to the guild?" "Actually I don't want to stop now, Natsu." He looked at me and the look of lust from Natsu disappeared. "Bad luck maybe next time. I'm leaving now." He said smirking. Oh so now he want to tease me. "Natsu, your teasing me, what do I need to do with my problem?" I was pointing at my throbbing member, begging for release. Natsu only looked to me like it wasn't his problem. "So? Never had an erection before Gray? Deal with it." He turned around and left the bedroom with a smug face. 

Oh Natsu you're getting payback for this. I helped my problem and we both went to the guild. In the guild, they welcomed us both like always. Natsu just waved at them. Didn't respond to all the shouts. We both walked to the bar, were we both took a seat. I ordered some food, I mean I didn't had any breakfast jet. Natsu didn't order something though. Some of the members found that strange. It was really. Erza was eating her cake. It almost felt like everything was normal again. Well almost normal. Lucy came walking towards us. "Good morning, had a good night together?" She asked, winking at me. Natsu understood though and was blushing heavy. "Well.." I started but was interrupted by Natsu. "Don't tell them anything unnecessary." He said while putting his hands on my mouth. "Yea Luce, we slept good." He said while smiling lightly. "Aw, I thought I would get some details. That's a shame." She said and sat beside Erza. "Don't push Natsu in saying details, Lucy. If you want to you have to order them." They both laughed. Natsu and I sweat dropped at that comment. 

Elfman came walking towards Natsu. "Natsu, would you join for a fight? Like a man!" Natsu turned around and said while rubbing the back of his head. "I won't sorry man." The whole guild wasn't expecting that. The guild went silent. "Why not? It isn't manly to not accept a challenge." "That's true Elfman, but I don't have the strength to fight you." Wow that Natsu would confess something like that, that must hurt his pride. Some of the guild members were amazed at Natsu. One screamed "Natsu you went soft. Declining a challenge like that." I hoped Natsu didn't heard it though but he did. He looked at his lap. "It's okay Natsu if you're still recovering. You should recover like a man." Elfman said, he felt guilty for shaming Natsu's pride. But something in Natsu was triggered. Natsu stood up. He shook with anger, he balded his fists so they went white. "I'm not afraid." "I know Natsu, saying that is like a man would." Elfman said. But Natsu didn't want to anymore. He looked at Elfman. "I accept your challenge Elfman." He said. "Really? You don't have to Natsu? If your hurt you should rest like a man." Natsu stood in fight stance. "Natsu don't, you're not ready. You will get hurt." I said. He looked furious at me. "You don't have confidence in me?" he asked angry. "That's not what I meant. I mean that it is not slim to do this. You're not your usual self." 

He was beyond anger. He ignored my plead. He lighted his fists on fire. Elfman was ready to attack too. Normally Natsu would start, but he was waiting for Elfman to attack. Which I thought was clever. Elfman came raging on in his beast form. Natsu dodged but not too fast enough. So Natsu received a hit. Natsu did a flame punch at Elfman, but it wasn't as strong as it would be normal. The whole guild was looking in suspense. Elfman tried to hit Natsu again, but he dodged this time fully. Unfortunately that was Elfman's plan all along. So while Natsu was in the air dodging, Elfman hit Natsu full in his stomach. Normally it would only hurt Natsu a bit, but this time Natsu went flying through the guild. My heart sank. "Natsu!" Elfman looked confused. He probably didn't understand, he didn't put too much force into it. I ran towards Natsu in the rubble, he stood up slowly. Clearly hurt all over. He was breathing heavy and had many wounds. Not deep ones though. He wanted to continue. "Please stop Natsu." I said, pleading him. "I won't Gray." He said. The fire in his eyes was back like the old days, but his strength surely wasn't. I want to stop this fight. So I walked in front of Natsu and stood before him protectively.

Elfman changed back into his normal form. He understood he had to stop the fight. "Elfman, I want to continue." Natsu said determined. But I was glad that Erza came towards Natsu and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Stop it now Natsu. You're still healing. Don't make this harder for Gray, or any of us." He looked defeated. I hugged him and whispered "Give it time Natsu. Don't let those silly people get to you." He didn't hug back. "Gray, I don't like being so weak." He said quietly. He sat again at the bar not looking so great. Defeated. Ashamed. Hurt. Wendy came to Natsu. "Should I heal you Natsu-san?" Wendy asked. He looked at her but declined. "No Wendy, not needed. I should handle a few wounds. Don't use your power over something this lightly." I felt bad for him. Wendy bowed and walked back to her table. "Natsu can I get you something to eat? You haven't eaten yet right?" Mira asked. I looked at him, curious what he would say. I mean it was almost time for lunch. He looked at me than at Mira. "Maybe something light, my stomach isn't used to food anymore, so no spicy chicken." He said. "I will make you something lightly then." She said smiling. He smiled lightly. Probably feeling bad to ask her that. 

"So you really aren't yourself lately? Not eating? Not fighting?" The same member that insulted Natsu in the crowd said. I felt the urge to hit him, but Natsu beat me to it. Natsu hit him straight into his face. Natsu was pissed off. "What was that for?" He asked clearly angry. I stood up. "Stop insulting my boyfriend." I said. Natsu yelled at him "Don't ever talk about me so lightly. You don't know me, so don't act like it. Yea I'm not my old self so what. Even in this state I can beat you, you retard." Natsu was pissed off. Erza put a hand on Natsu his shoulder. "It's okay Natsu, don't waste your time on him." She said and giving him THE glare. He flinched away. Natsu got his food that he slowly ate. After that he looked at me. "Can we leave? I'm not in the mood to stay any longer." He asked. I understood so I nodded. I told Erza and Lucy that we left. They both nodded, even they were angry at that stupid guild member. Natsu and I left the guild. We walked towards the place where we used to fight all the time. There we took a place at the slope. "Everything alright Natsu?" I asked. He was still pissed off. 

"Well actually not, I'm pissed off. Not only at what he said, but also that it was the truth. I'm weak now. I hate that." "You will be strong again, Natsu. Give it some time." I said. "I hate myself right now." I wanted to ask Natsu something but I didn't know if it was the good timing for that. I sighed. He looked at me confused, as why I sighed. "Natsu I need to ask you something important." He gulped, fearing the worst. I stood up in front of him and looked him in the eyes. "Natsu, it is maybe too early to ask. But I want to make sure that we are spending our whole future life together. So..." I took a deep breath and said with courage this time "Natsu, will you marry me." I went on one knee and opening a box I held in my hand. He looked at me with wide eyes not believing his ears. "You really mean it Gray?" "Of course silly, what's your answer?" He started crying, I thought I hurt him again. So I went closer. "Sorry Natsu, it's too early right. I should wait with-" I wanted to continue but was cut off by Natsu kissing me. "No, silly I do. I really wanna marry you. I would love too." He was shedding some tears again but he hugged me. I was overjoyed, he accepted. I looked at him and give him the ring. He looked at it, it was a silver ring with an emerald in the form of an ice crystal and red orbs surrounding it. "Gray I love it, it is a beautiful ring." We hugged and kissed. I took Natsu bridal style towards his home. We were overjoyed. Still Natsu was getting payback for this morning.
