I woke up early Saturday morning. I got up and made my breakfast. I went into the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and comb my hair into a ponytail. Just as I was about to sit down on the couch to watch some tv, a black sedan pulled up in front of my house. I pulled the curtain and looked outside and saw three agents dressed in black and had communication devices in their ears. They came to the door and knocked. I opened the door and saw two HPSA agents standing at the door.

"Alexis Parker, the chief wishes to speak to you and has ordered us to come get you and bring you to headquarters at once." one of the men said.

"One of the disadvantages of being a spy at the organization, is having agents showing up at your door, demanding to take you to the agency on a Saturday. I guess that's what happens when you're the youngest agent in the organization, being 17 years old." I thought to myself.

"Are you freaking kidding me? It's Saturday and I seriously don't think I want to....."

I was cut off by one of the men saying, " The chief said it is not a request.... it's an order."

I mumbled something so they couldn't hear and responded saying, "Fine! Wait here, I'm going to get changed."

With that I rushed upstairs and put on a blue top, jeans and sneakers. I followed the men into the car where the third agent, who waited outside, opened the door for me and I stepped in. They drove off, heading for HQ.

We arrived at headquarters. I went through the glass doors, showing my badge. I walked towards the elevator and pressed the button that says 6th floor and the doors closed. The elevator went up and in a few seconds, reached the 6th floor. I walked down the hall and went through the door marked Head organization.
I walked in and Elijah greeted me saying, " Miss Parks, it's nice to see you made it," "Not that I had a choice," was the smug response. Elijah is twenty-two years old, has blonde hair and blue eyes. I've always wondered how he managed to run the agency, at a young age. Apparently, his father was the head or the whole operation, until his death a few years ago. So, the agency was passed down to his son Elijah and ever since he was the new chief of the organization. With that dazzling smile and blue eyes, he would've had all the girl agents falling head over heels for him. I know what you're thinking.....No! I don't like him.

" Why don't you take a seat, Alexis," he said gesturing to a chair.

I reluctantly sat down and said, " You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, I have a mission for you...make that two assignments."

"What's the first?"

"Do you know of the peace treaty signing between two countries that will happen in a few weeks?"

"You mean the one between France and Scotland?" was my response.

"Exactly. It was supposed to be taking place between the king and queen of both countries, but just recently, Queen Blair and King Seth of France has disappeared. They were taking a morning stroll in the royal garden when the guards reported having heard screams. They ran outside but were too late; they had vanished."

A gave him a wide-eyed look and remarked," It's hard to believe anyone could kidnap the king and queen in broad daylight and got away without any of the guards noticing them!"

"My thoughts exactly." He responded.

He went on to explain my assignment. "You will pose as Princess Kate, a cousin of the royal children. At the same time you will be protecting them. You will live in the royal palace in France....you leave for the airport on Friday, however, you will begin your mission in the palace on the Monday, so please be at the palace by then."

I sighed and nodded.

"Do you understand your mission?"

I nodded.

"Good, now for the second assignment."

I took a deep breath, not knowing what to expect and he began.
