Vaggie: Shorts
Translation
Y/N sat beside Vaggie on the couch, fidgeting slightly with his fingers. His cheeks were slightly pink, a clear sign that whatever he was about to ask had been on his mind for a while.
Vaggie, leaning back with her arms crossed, raised an eyebrow.
Vaggie (curious, amused):?You look nervous. What's up?
Y/N hesitated, then cleared his throat.
Y/N (shy, mumbling): Um... I was on a date with Carmilla the other night, and she said some things in Spanish.
Vaggie tilted her head slightly, now even more interested.
Vaggie: Oh? And you wanna know what she said?
Y/N: Y-Yeah. I, um... I don't know if it was important, but... I kinda wanna know.
Vaggie chuckled, gesturing for him to go ahead.
Vaggie: Alright, let's hear it.
Y/N swallowed and took a deep breath before carefully repeating what Carmilla had whispered to him during their date.
Y/N (innocent, soft-spoken): Eres tan lindo cuando te sonrojas... Me dan ganas de comerte entero...
The second the words left his mouth, Vaggie froze. Her eyes widened slightly before her face turned an intense shade of red. Her arms, once confidently crossed, suddenly tensed.
Vaggie (blinking rapidly, trying to process it): Wait... what?
Y/N shifted nervously.
Y/N (concerned, awkward): D-Did I say it wrong?
Vaggie shook her head quickly, waving her hand in front of her face as if trying to cool herself down.
Vaggie (clearing her throat, voice slightly unsteady): No, no, you said it perfectly. It's just... damn.
Now even more curious (and very nervous), Y/N leaned forward a little.
Y/N (soft, hesitant): So... what does it mean?
Vaggie took a second to compose herself before smirking, leaning closer to him with an amused glint in her eyes.
Vaggie: Well,..Carmilla definitely has it bad for you.
Y/N's face grew redder.
Y/N (mumbling, flustered): O-Okay, but what did she say?
Vaggie chuckled, leaning back.
Vaggie: She basically said, 'You look so cute when you blush... It makes me wanna eat you whole.'
Y/N looked at her confused and tilted his head.
Y/N: I don't get it...
Vaggie whispered in his ear. Y/N froze. His face turned a deeper shade of red as his brain fully processed the meaning.
Y/N (soft gasp, eyes widening): O-Oh... oh no...oh no no no!!!
Vaggie laughed, watching as he curled slightly into himself, hiding his face in his hands.
Vaggie (grinning, teasing): Oh yes. And the best part? You just said that out loud. In perfect Spanish.
Y/N groaned, now completely flustered.
Y/N (whining, muffled in his hands): Whyyyy did I ask?!
Vaggie just kept laughing, shaking her head. She kisssd his head and started petting his head.

Shower
The bathroom door creaked open, and a wave of steam rolled into the cooler air of the room. Y/N stepped out first, towel wrapped securely around his waist, his damp hair clinging slightly to his forehead. Behind him, Vaggie followed, a smaller towel wrapped around her torso, her silver hair still dripping slightly.
Y/N's face was bright red. Even though they had just showered together, he was still struggling to process it. Not that anything happened, but the simple fact that they had shared such an intimate moment had his brain short-circuiting.
Vaggie, on the other hand, seemed much more composed—though her own slight blush betrayed her. She casually ran a towel through her hair, glancing at Y/N, who was standing there awkwardly, staring at the floor like it had all the answers to life's mysteries.
Vaggie: Hon, you're acting like we just did something illegal.
Y/N fidgeted with the towel around his waist, avoiding eye contact.
Y/N (mumbling, flustered): I-It was still... kinda a lot.
Vaggie chuckled, rolling her eye before nudging his arm.
Vaggie: Relax. You survived.
He let out a small, nervous chuckle, but his face was still burning.
They moved further into the room, and Y/N grabbed a fresh set of clothes from his dresser, still avoiding looking directly at Vaggie. She noticed this immediately and giggled.
Vaggie: What, suddenly shy? You weren't that shy a few minutes ago. Especially after washing me.
Y/N squeaked, nearly dropping his clothes.
Y/N (panicking, face even redder): Vaggie!
She laughed, clearly enjoying watching him squirm.
Y/N quickly turned his back to her, focusing on getting dressed while muttering under his breath. Vaggie, still smiling, pulled on a loose tank top and shorts before flopping onto his bed, stretching out comfortably.
Vaggie: You know, for someone who's been dating multiple women at once, you're awfully easy to fluster.
Y/N groaned, running a hand down his face.
Vaggie laughed again before grabbing a pillow and tossing it lightly at him.
Vaggie: Just messing with you.
Y/N sighed, finally finished dressing, and turned around—only for Vaggie to sit up, grab his wrist, and pull him down onto the bed next to her. He tensed for a second before relaxing as she leaned against him.
Vaggie: Seriously though... that was nice. You didn't have to invite me in, but I appreciate it.
Y/N, still flustered but now more at ease, gave a small nod.
Y/N (softly, sincere): Yeah... it was nice.
They sat there in comfortable silence for a moment before Vaggie smiled again.
Vaggie (grinning): Still, I definitely won that little water fight.
Y/N groaned, shoving a pillow over his face.
Y/N (muffled, whining): Vaggieeee...
Vaggie laughed before shaking her head, grabbing a hairbrush from his nightstand.
Vaggie (smirking, playfully nudging him with her foot): Alright, alright, I won't tease you too much... Come here, let me help with your hair before it gets all tangled.
Y/N hesitated but eventually shuffled over, sitting on the bed in front of her. Vaggie gently ran the brush through his hair, her movements slow and careful.
Vaggie (softly, amused): Damn, you've got soft hair. It's unfair.
Y/N's shoulders relaxed a little under her touch, the gentle sensation helping ease his nerves.
Y/N (quietly, still a little shy): T-Thank you...
The room was quiet for a few moments, the only sounds being the brush moving through his hair and the occasional soft sigh from Y/N.
Then, without warning, Vaggie leaned in, pressing a quick, playful kiss to the back of his ear.
Y/N (stiffening, flustered squeak): Ah—!
Vaggie laughed, wrapping her arms around his shoulders from behind.
Vaggie (grinning, smug): Relax, sweetheart. Just getting in a little affection.
Y/N's hands fidgeted in his lap, his face warm, but a small smile tugged at his lips.
Y/N (softly, shy but happy):...Okay.

Nancy Drew
Y/N lay curled up beneath a thick blanket, his wings tucked close to his body. Vaggie sat beside him, her arm draped over his shoulder, holding a well-worn copy of Nancy Drew: The Secret of the Old Clock.
Y/N (murmuring sleepily): Nancy's really smart... I like how she pieces things together.
Vaggie smiled, glancing down at him.
Vaggie: She's definitely sharp. No way would she let someone like Alastor get away with anything.
Y/N let out a soft chuckle, shifting slightly to get more comfortable.
Vaggie (murmuring): I bet she'd even figure out why you weren't allowed in Heaven...
Vaggie paused for a moment, her fingers gently running through his hair.
Vaggie: She'd probably have it solved in, like, two chapters.
Y/N smiled, his body relaxed as she continued reading.
She glanced down at Y/N, who clutched his Mickey Mouse plushie to his chest, his eyelids heavy but still fighting sleep. His breathing was slow, relaxed, but she could tell his mind was still spinning. She gave him a gentle squeeze, shifting slightly to get more comfortable.
Vaggie: Alright, where were we...? Oh, right— Nancy was following a lead about Josiah Crowley's missing will...
She flipped the page, her voice calm and steady as she read aloud, letting the words flow like a lullaby. Y/N's fingers idly traced the edges of his sketchbook, his focus shifting between her voice and the steady rise and fall of her breathing.
Vaggie: Nancy hesitated. The creaky old floorboards beneath her feet groaned as she stepped forward, peering into the dimly lit attic. Dust swirled in the air, illuminated by the pale moonlight streaming through a cracked window. Then—'
She paused, glancing down at Y/N. His eyes were half-lidded now, his body slowly sinking into relaxation. She smiled softly.
Vaggie: You still with me?
Y/N gave a small nod, though he didn't open his eyes. His voice was barely above a mumble.
Y/N: Mhm... I like the mystery... but... m'sleepy...
Vaggie chuckled, shifting to rest her chin lightly on top of his head.
Vaggie: That's kinda the point, hon.
Y/N let out a quiet hum, pressing a little closer to her warmth. She continued reading, her voice softer now, slower, each word pulling him deeper into rest. His grip on the sketchbook loosened, his breathing steadying into an easy rhythm.
Charlie walked in.
Charlie: Vaggie? I-
Vaggie: SHHHHHHH!
She reached the end of a chapter and glanced down again— his eyes were fully closed now, his face peaceful.
Smiling to herself, she closed the book and set it aside, careful not to disturb him. She adjusted the blanket over both of them, sighing softly as she settled in.
Vaggie: Sweet dreams, detective.
With that, she flicked off the lamp, letting the quiet of the hotel wrap around them as Y/N drifted off to sleep.

Universal and Disney
Y/N sat cross-legged on the hotel couch, completely immersed in a stack of travel books and brochures spread out around him. His toes twitched slightly as he flipped through a colorful guidebook, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Vaggie sat beside him, arms crossed but smiling as she watched him mumble to himself while jotting down notes in his sketchbook. Charlie, curled up in an armchair nearby, peeked over with interest.
Vaggie: You're really into this, huh?
Y/N: "Mhm! I like planning trips... even if we never go, it's fun to imagine."
Charlie: Ooooh, do you have a whole game plan? Like, if we did go, what would we do?
Y/N beamed, tapping his pencil against his notebook.
Y/N: Okay, so let's say we're doing a full week at Disney and a full week at Universal. That means two different hotels, two different itineraries.

Charlie clapped enthusiastically, while Vaggie gave him an impressed nod.
Charlie: That sounds amazing! I wanna go so bad now!
Vaggie: Alright, hon, you put way too much thought into this. But I gotta admit, it sounds kinda perfect.
Y/N grinned proudly, hugging his travel book close. Even if the trip never happened, just planning it made him happy.

Overwhelmed
The hotel was louder than usual tonight. Angel Dust and Husk were arguing at the bar, Niffty was darting around cleaning things that didn't need cleaning, and Charlie was excitedly chatting with Sir Pentious about new room renovations. The overlapping voices, the clinking of glasses, the occasional burst of laughter—it all started to pile on, pressing down like a heavy weight on Y/N's chest.
He sat on the couch, gripping his arms, breathing a little too fast. His fingers and eyes twitched uncomfortably, his head lowered. The lights seemed too bright, the sounds too sharp. It was all too much.
Vaggie, standing nearby, noticed immediately.
Vaggie: Hey, babe, you good?
Y/N didn't answer right away. He just clenched his jaw, his fingers digging into his sleeves. Vaggie frowned, recognizing the signs. She stepped in front of him, gently crouching to his level.
Vaggie: Hey, look at me.
He hesitated but slowly lifted his gaze. His eyes were a little glossy, his breathing uneven.
Vaggie: Too much, huh?
A small nod.
Vaggie: Alright, let's get you out of here.
She took his hand—firm but careful, giving him a reassuring squeeze as she led him out of the common area and into one of the quieter halls. The noise faded behind them, replaced by the distant hum of the hotel's old pipes. She guided him to sit on a plush bench in the corner, away from all the chaos.
Vaggie: Deep breaths, okay? In for four, hold for four, out for four.
She did the breathing with him, counting softly. Y/N followed, though shaky at first, until the tension in his shoulders slowly eased. He settled, his grip on his sleeves loosening.
Vaggie kept her voice low and steady.
Vaggie: You're alright. It's okay to get overwhelmed. Happens to me too.
Y/N blinked at her, still quiet but listening.
Vaggie: You don't have to push through it alone, alright? We can step away whenever you need.
She gently nudged his shoulder, offering a small smile.
Vaggie: Besides, I needed an excuse to get away from all that noise anyway. Charlie's been talking about paint swatches for way too long.
That earned a tiny smile from Y/N. Just a little one, but enough for Vaggie to know he was coming back to himself.
Vaggie: There's my guy.
She leaned back against the wall beside him, letting the quiet settle between them. No rush. No pressure. Just calm.
Vaggie: Wanna just sit here a bit? Maybe I can read to you?
Y/N nodded, leaning into her shoulder slightly. Vaggie pulled out her worn copy of Nancy Drew, flipping to a random page. She started reading, her voice soothing, grounding. And little by little, the weight pressing down on Y/N lifted, until he felt safe again.

Vaggie picks a movie
The hotel was quiet for once, a rare moment of peace. The usual chaos had died down for the night, and in the lounge, Vaggie and Y/N were curled up on the couch, a warm blanket draped over them. The soft glow of the TV flickered across their faces as the movie played.
Vaggie had picked the film—an old black-and-white detective noir, full of sharp dialogue, smoky alleyways, and trench coat-clad figures solving mysteries. Y/N didn't mind. He liked the way Vaggie's eye lit up when she got invested in a story. And he liked the sound of her voice when she whispered little comments to him about the plot.
Vaggie: See? I told you she was the femme fatale. You could see it in her eyes the whole time.
Y/N nodded, resting his head on her shoulder. He wasn't really watching as much as he was just enjoying the moment. The warmth of the blanket, the steady rhythm of Vaggie's breathing, the way she absently played with his fingers as she focused on the screen—it all made him feel safe.
Y/N: You always guess the endings.
Vaggie: Because I'm good, babe. You gotta pay attention to the little details.p
He hummed, not entirely convinced, but also not about to argue. Instead, he just snuggled a little closer. Vaggie glanced down at him and smirked.
Vaggie: You're not even watching, are you?
Y/N let out a soft laugh, shrugging.
Y/N: I like listening to you talk about it more.
That made Vaggie pause for a second, her expression softening. She squeezed his hand before turning back to the movie.
Vaggie: Well, in that case, you're lucky, 'cause I've got plenty to say about this one.
And so she did—whispering little theories, pointing out background details, getting mock-offended when a character made a stupid choice. And Y/N just listened, content in the warmth of the moment, letting her voice fill the quiet.

Dream
Vaggie stood in the middle of a beautiful outdoor venue, the air filled with the sound of a gentle breeze rustling through the trees. The sky was a perfect shade of blue, and white flowers lined the aisle, their petals dancing in the wind.
At the altar, Y/N stood, fidgeting slightly but smiling—his soft, shy smile that always made her heart flutter. He looked so handsome, dressed in a simple yet elegant suit. His wings twitched nervously, and Vaggie couldn't help but smile at how adorable he looked, waiting for her.
She felt a tug on her arm and turned to see Charlie, beaming as she adjusted Vaggie's veil.
Charlie: You ready, babe? He looks so nervous.
Vaggie: Yeah... [She let out a breath, feeling a mix of excitement and warmth.] I think I am."l
The music began to play, and everything else melted away. As she walked down the aisle, all she could focus on was Y/N—his soft gaze, the way his hands fidgeted at his sides, the way he looked at her like she was the most beautiful thing in the world. And for the first time in a long time, Vaggie felt completely, undeniably happy.
She reached the altar, and Y/N took her hands in his, squeezing them gently. His touch was warm, comforting.
Y/N: You look... amazing.
Vaggie smirked, playfully bumping his shoulder.
Vaggie: Duh. But you— [She paused, tilting her head, taking him in.] You look perfect.
The officiant spoke, but Vaggie barely heard the words. Her mind was too focused on Y/N—the way his expression softened, the way his wings fluttered when she squeezed his hands, the way he just felt like home.
When it came time for their vows, Y/N hesitated, his cheeks dusted pink. But then, he took a breath and spoke.
Y/N: I know I'm not always good with words... but I know that being with you makes everything feel easier. I never thought I'd have someone like you—someone who makes me feel safe. Someone who makes me feel like... like I don't have to be afraid. And I wanna spend forever making you feel the same way.
Vaggie's chest tightened, and for a moment, she was sure she was going to cry. Instead, she let out a breathy laugh, shaking her head as she wiped at her eye.
Vaggie: That's not fair. You're supposed to be the nervous one.
Y/N smiled at her—soft, genuine, his.
Officiant: Vaggie, your vows?
She took a breath, looking into Y/N's eyes, and somehow, the words came easily.
Vaggie: I've always been the one who has to be strong. The one who has to fight, to protect, to stand her ground. But with you... I don't have to fight alone. I don't have to be strong all the time, because I know you're there. And I swear, I'll always be there for you, too. No matter what.
Y/N's grip on her hands tightened, his wings giving a small, happy flutter. The officiant smiled.
Officiant: Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you—
Before the sentence could finish, Vaggie woke up.
She blinked, her heart still racing from the dream. The golden light was gone, replaced by the dim glow of the hotel room. Beside her, Y/N slept peacefully, his face relaxed. She let out a quiet breath, staring at him for a moment before reaching out, brushing a few strands of hair from his face.
Vaggie: You have no idea how much you mean to me, do you?
Y/N stirred slightly but didn't wake. Vaggie just smiled softly, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to his forehead before snuggling back down beside him. She closed her eyes, hoping maybe—just maybe—she'd dream of their wedding again.
