(A/N) hey guys! so this is the last Chapter in 'I Ship Us' sorry this book was so short it was my first anyways...so this chapter takes place 6 years later so that means Dan is 24 and Phil is 25...ENJOY!

~*~DANS POV~*~

January 29th 2022

it was 11pm... Phil's birthday was in exactly 1 hour...

Dan and Phil have been together for over 5 years and every single birthday has been better than the last, and Dan is determined to make this one the best.

Dan tip toed down the hallway to Phil's bedroom and peeked inside, Phil was sitting in is browsing position with is laptop, probably on tumblr.

"hey babe" Dan said as casually as possible walking towards Phil's bed

Phil shut his laptop and looked up at me "oh so i see i have a new nickname?"

"yes baby" i playfully poked at his side.

"maybe i should give you a new nickname, huh Dan?"

i chuckled and pecked him on the cheek, "alright Phil whats my new nickname?"

his face lit up and he smirked moving his face to my neck as he peppered kisses along my jawline, slowly making his way up to my ear and seductively whispered "daddy"

i pushed playfully pushed him off of me, i stood there smiling like and idiot and laughing and Phil bursting into a fit of laughter, his tongue poking out of his teeth as he giggled like a maniac. we were both laughing our heads off.

"Phil you little shit!" i said between giggles

he just kept laughing. when he was done with his giggle fest he laid down on the bed and happily sighed.

i laid down next to him.

"So Phil your birthday is tomorrow, aren't you excited?"

his face fell. "um yea sure i guess..." he replied sadly.

"whats wrong Phil"

Phil just stared at the ceiling "its just I'm getting so old, i feel like I'm growing up to fast..."

"says the man who has over 300 stuffed animals in his room" i scoff, chuckling to myself.

"i  just don't want to get any older i want to stay 25 forever..."

"Phil don't think of your birthday as you getting old, think of it as another year on earth"

Phil gave me a soft smile "your right Dan thank you for that, god i love you so much"

"i love you to Phil, more than life itself" i smiled pecking him on the lips, which soon turned into a passionate make out session...

"its almost midnight and i need you to get some sleep so you can be awake for what i have planned for you tomorrow" i said with a cheeky grin

"okay goodnight my love"

i kissed Phil's forehead before tucking him in and walking out the door.

tomorrow was going to be a day to remember...

January 30th 2022

i woke up around 10 and the first things that came into my mind was Phil, of course.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HA-"

"Dan! stop singing you sound like a cat in a garbage disposal!" Phil exclaimed loudly hold a pillow to his ears.

i immediately jumped on him and began kissing him roughly "happy birthday babe!"

"thanks daddy"

my cheeks went bright red

"PHIL!"

"sorry" he blushed

"get up get dressed i have a big day planned for you today!"
i said whilst running out of his bedroom to make some final touches on my first surprise...

*~*~PHILS POV~*~*

"god i wonder what Dan has planned for me this year" i mumbled to myself. excited and scared at the same time.

On my 25th birthday Dan took me skydiving and i was terrified! but at the same time i thought it was sweet because a moth earlier i was telling him how i wanted to be able to touch the clouds.

when i was all dressed and ready i made my way downstairs, i wasn't even halfway down the hall when i was stopped by Dan handing me a bright red shoe box.

"we are going to change things up a bit this year, every time you enter another room i will give you a gift"

i turned bright red and smiled, he was so thoughtful, "Dan you don't have to do that for me!"

"i want to Phil, i love you and i want to make your birthday special"

"thanks Dan" i hugged him.

when i opened the box my jaw dropped to the floor, it was a brand new pair of red high tops

"D-Dan i don't know what to say..."

"don't say anything Phil i know you love them, i can tell by your facial expression... and your welcome"

he ran down the stairs without saying anything else.

i went back into my room and set the shoes down on my bed and began to walk down the stairs.

As soon as my feet hit the bottom step i felt tears prick in my eyes at what i saw, it was incredibly beautiful.

there whole apartment was decorated in streamers, balloons, glitter, bubbles, anything you can dream of. and above it all was a huge banner that read 'Happy Birthday Phil'

Dan immediately came out of no where attacking me into a hug. Then suddenly All of my YouTube friends jumped up out of no where.

"SURPRISE!"

you could probably imagine my face right now...

"you scared the crap out of me!" i said through fits giggles

everyone started laughing with me and hugging me.

~*DANS POV*~

it was around 1:00 when i saw Phil go into the bathroom so i quickly ran upstairs and grabbed another present. when i got back downstairs he was just coming out of the bathroom

perfect timing

so i ran over to him and hugged him, pushing a small box in the back pocket of his jeans. he knew i put something in there so i just winked and walked away.

~PHILS POV~

whilst Dan was hugging me i felt him slip something into my back pocket.

when he walked away i felt around the back of my jeans and pulled out a little white box.

and what i found inside was incredible...

it was a gold chain necklace with a locket at the end and when i opened it there was a picture of Dan pecking me on the lips and on the back he engraved.

'every moment spent with you is like a beautiful dream come true'

i started tearing up, that was so sweet Dan really is the best boyfriend ever.

i looked around the room trying to spot Dan i finally found him over in the kitchen talking with Louise and Alfie.

i walked over, hugged him from behind and whispered in his ear "thank you bear"

the party was fun, we played loads of games and every room i walked into i got a gift better than the last.

towards the end of the party we decided to play 7 minutes in heaven (spin the bottle version)

On the first spin Zoe ended up in the closet with Alfie

On the second spin Chris ended up in the closet with Pj

it was Louises spin, i wonder who she was going to make out with in the closet.

the bottle went around once

twice

three times

slowly coming to a stop....

oh no

it landed on me...

"er...um..."

Louise gave me a look of sympathy, i could tell she didn't want to do this anymore than i did...

"Oh would you look at the time! it almost half past 6! sorry fellas i have a train to catch, Dan take my place why don't ya!" she grabbed her coat and quickly ran out of the door giving Phil a hug before she left.

Dan smirked at me before pushing me into the closet behind him.

Lousie is such a great friend, i owe her big time

as soon as the closet door shut behind us i was pinned up against the wall, lips attached to mine in a heated kiss.

no matter how many times i kiss him i never get tired of his lips on mine...

somehow i wish i could stay like this forever...feeling Dan close...felling him in my arms... his lips pressed against mine... everything is perfect

he pulled away for a second only to make the cheesiest  comment i ever heard...

"hey Phil its funny huh? we started off in the closet and now we are back in one!"

we both laughed at his stupidly hilarious comment...

i laughed so hard i couldnt breathe..it was then that he cupped my face and crushed his lips against mine...and man oh man did it take my breath away...literally

it was then we heard a knock at the door.

"uh guys 7 minutes is up...its been 30"

we pulled away laughing and came out finally

"sorry mate we didn't keep track of the time"

he nodded and walked off into the kitchen

"that was amazing Dan" i said still out of breath with a slight smirk

"its only just begun love." he pecked my cheek and walked off... disappearing

~DANS POV~

Phil had no idea what was coming for him this year...

i loved seeing him so happy... i cant wait to make sure he is happy forever...

Phil basically entered all the rooms in the house, receiving a present from me every so often.

When everyone finally left i found Phil sprawled across the couch on his phone.

i ran and jumped on top of him straddling him before pecking his lips.

"go get dressed baby i have one more birthday surprise for you this evening" i say wish a slight smirk.

he giggles and gets up off the couch

"yes sir" he said with a slight smirk

"PHIL!"

after an hour passed i saw Phil come downstairs in a blue dress shirt and black skinny jeans

he looked absolutely perfect

"PHIL i said dress nice not kill me! bloody hell you look hot!"

he just giggled in response

"you look hot too daddy" he kept giggling

"oh my god Phil your not going live that down are you?"

"never"

i made him close his eyes the entire car ride... i wanted to keep it a surprise.

"okay Phil you can open your eyes now" i said guiding him out of the car

~*PHILS POV*~

i quickly opened my eyes too see what was in front of me when they were suddenly clouded with tears

i was standing in front of a beautiful fountain with blue lights all around it and in the middle a sign hang that said 'happy birthday Phil'

Dan knew that this was my favorite lace to go as a child, growing up i would always sit by this fountain and write in my journal.

"D-Dan i don't know what to say... its beautiful...i love it... i love you!"

i leaned into his embrace and kissed him passionately'

he then walked me to a lovely Italian restaurant around the block

when we were finally seated and ready to order, Dan just started laughing out of the blue. it was so adorable

"What is ti Dan?"

"P-Phil...the menu is in french!"

i started laughing with him

"how is the menu in french if this is an Italian restaurant!"

then a waitress came over and asked us for what we want.

we had no idea what the menus even said so we just ordered the 4th thing on the menu

We chatted for a while until the waitress came back with our food

apparently the fourth thing on the menu was chicken-parm. i love chicken parm but Dan hates it

"Dan why aren't you eating your food?"

"not hungry-"

"come on Dan eat it or i will"

he took a couple bites before pushing it over to me.

"Hey Phil have you ever been to the beach?"

"no i haven't, you?

"yes, a lot of times actually. the same beach every time"

"really where?" i asked concerned

"every time i look into your eyes"

i blushed and smiled "aw Dan your so sweet i love you"

"why haven't you been to the beach Phil?"

"i don't know i guess the feeling of sand between my toes just gives me cringes, and the rocks i hate stepping on rocks"

he smiled at me and began to talk

~*~DANS POV~*~

"you know Phil rocks are very important

they could be ugly or pretty

rough or soft

heavy or light

indestructible

its always there

in a way Phil, a rock is like a promise...

...and...this is my rock to you"...

i pull a small black box out of my coat pocket and get down on one knee

"Phil before i met you i never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason. people say you can only fall in love once but damn are they wrong because every time i look at you i fall in love all over again... you never know your in love when you cant fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams, Phil you never fail to amaze me every day there is something new that makes me love you even more than i did the day before which i didn't think was possible"...

"so Phillip Michael Lester, would you be my rock and... marry me?"

i looked up at Phil, his hands were covering his mouth and tears were pouring out of his eyes

"YES I WILL MARRY YOU DANIEL JAMES HOWELL!"

he said that so loud the whole restaurant looked at us and started cheering and clapping

He stood up and threw his arms around me, kissing my sweetly on the lips

we sat back down and i slid the gold

ring  onto his slender fingers

"i love you yesterday

i love you still

i always have

and i always will"

"Phil that was the cheesiest thing that has ever come out of your mouth, and you say a lot of cheesy shit"

"Oh you love it"

"that i do"

when we were finished with our food and ready for the bill a group of waitors came by our booth and gave us a giant chocolate cake with candles

"oh we didn't order-"

i was cut off by them singing 'i will always love you' in 4 part harmony, they sounded beautiful

"here's a little congratulations gift for you and your fiance, oh and your meals on the house"

"oh thank you but i will p-"

"we insist"

i didn't want to argue the bill was probably going to be over 50$ anyways and who doesn't love a free meal am i right?

"thank you so much"

they nodded and walked off.

"Dan i really want to eat this cake now"

"same"

and so we did.

when we got home Phil collapsed on the couch.

"Best. birthday. ever"

i smiled and made my way over to the couch, sitting on his legs and straddling him

"best. day. ever." i said pecking his cheek

he then pulled me into a deep passionate kiss

i pulled away leaving him confused

"oh i forgot i have one more gift for you, follow me" i said with a slight smirk

we got up off the couch and began to make our way upstairs

"whats the gift Dan?" he said in a hushed tone

i turned around and pulled him into a hot lustful kiss

"just call me daddy" i said with a huge smirk on my face

he knew what his surprise was...

"yes daddy" he said giving me a peck on the cheek before running to my room

"yea who doesnt like birthday sex am i right?" i said chuckling

~FEBRUARY 11 2022~

it has been 12 days since Dan proposed and they already got everything sorted out, they were planning on getting married on Valentines day, they had already made the invitations which they mailed out to their friends a week ago and almost all of them are coming...

Zoe was going to take Phil shopping for his tux and Louise was going to take Dan. this was going to be a nightmare considering the girls wanted them to look absolutely perfect.

"Louise does it really matter what color my tie is?"

"YES OF COURSE! your bow tie has to match Phil's eyes!"

i roll my eyes at the thought

"and why do i have to wear a white tux?"

"because your basically the bride of the wedding your going to walk up the isle"

"why cant Phil be the bride?"

"Dan these are questions you should be asking your spouse not me" she scoffed

she stepped back to admire my outfit,her eyes were wide and her lips parted

"i-is it really that ba-"

"PERFECT" she danced in a circle letting tiny squeals escape her mouth

"Dan take a look in the mirror!"

when i turned around... i was speechless, i looked ravishing

"whoa"

"i know, i have the magic fashion touch" she said with a cocky grin

"L-Louise i look..."

"yes yes we get it you look sexy now take that off so we can pay for it, I'm so excited!!!"

once i took it off Louise practically snatched it out of my hands and ran to the counter

"hold on Louise let me get my wallet"

"nonsense Dan im paying"

"no Louise its my suit i pay and plus its over 200 pounds!"

"Dan don't argue with me I'm paying and that's final, save your money for your honeymoon"

i knew i wasn't going to win the argument so i let her pay

When we got home Zoe and Phil were already done shopping and watching Buffy in the lounge

"HONEY IM HOME" i call out laughing hysterically after i said that

Phil came in moments later laughing just as i did and pecked my cheek

"only 3 more days until i can officially call you mine" he said with a wide grin

"i cant wait" i said pulling him into a tight hug

~FEBRUARY 14 2022~

it was the day of the wedding... i was nervous as hell...

i didnt get to ee what Phil looked like because of some family tradition of his. so i was just a nervous wreck.

then i heard a knock at the door

"Dan can i come in?" a small girly voice said, it was Zoe

"yes come in"

Zoe came in and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw me

"you look breathtaking Dan" she said throwing her arms around me

"thanks Zoe"

she sat down in a chair on the opposite side of the room.

"Dan you look nervous as hell would you like me to tell you a story to calm you down?"

"yes please" i said sitting down on a couch and throwing my head back with a sigh

"so you know the first time i met you i thought 'damn this guy is hot as hell' and you still are but i really wanted you to be my boyfriend. and when you helped me up after i fell i thought 'oh my god i need to ask this guy out' but when i saw the way you looked at Phil i knew that you were not straight and the last thing i wanted was to get in the way of true love, and I'm so glad i didn't ask you out because you probably wouldn't be where you are today and i couldn't be more proud of you Dan"

"tanks Zoe that really means a-lot" i went over and hugged her

then the door opened

"Daniel James your on lets go!"

Dan got up and followed the man out to the runway, where he was accompanied by his dad

once the music started and he turned around the corner, his eyes locked with Phil's he looked incredible. ther was no where else he'd rather be than marrying Phillip Michael Lester a this very moment all his fears melted away once he looked into his beautiful blue eyes..

##IM GOING TO SKIP THE BORING CEREMONY##

"i now pronounce you husband and husband, you may now kiss the groom" the man announced

Phil laced one of his hands in mine and the other around my neck before dipping me and kissing me while everyone cheered.

Phil was finally mine and i was finally his... forever...

MARCH 1ST  2022

Dan and Phil had gotten back from their honeymoon in Japan

it was so amazing, they did a-lot of things such as

-a cherry blossom tour with strawberry picking and lunch

- a private city tour on a open top bus

-shopping and buying weird Japanese candy

- eating a shit ton of sushi

- an all day tour to Mt. Fuji

and so much more.

it was perfect

"hey you know Phil we never decided on who gets the last name?"

"well what do you want Dan, Phil Howell has a nice ring to it" he said with a smirk

"yea well so does Dan Lester" i said intertwining our fingers

"hey Dan have you ever thought about combining our last names?"

"No, wouldn't that be.... Howlter?"

"yea Dan and Phil Howlter"

"i like that"

"then its official, Phillip Michael Howlter and Daniel James Howlter"

i pecked him on the cheek and smiled

"perfect"

~NOVEMBER 11 2022~

it has been 9 months since i married Phil and i thinks its finally time to have this talk with him...

"Phil could you come into the lounge for a second" i said in a calm voice

"yea Dan be there in a minute"

i made him a cup of coffee and sat in the lounge, moments later her came and stood in the doorway

"yea what is it Dan?"

"Phil i think you need to sit down for this" i said gesturing for him to sit down next to me

"oh no did someone die?" he said giving me a frown

"no Phil no one died"

"okay good, so what is it"

i held took his hand in mine and intertwined her fingers, looking deep into his eyes

"its time" i said calmly, running my thumb over the back of his hand

his eyes immediately filled with tears and he rested his head on my shoulder sobbing

"Do you really thinks it's time Dan?"

"Yes"

Phil looked up at me and smiled, throwing his arms around me, kissing me passionately

"We are going to finally have a son"

The next day we went to an orphanage just up the street and had a look at some of the kids, it wasn't until they were at the very end of the row when they saw it.

"Dan look at how pretty his eyes are" Phil said with a smile
He pointed to a baby boy with chocolate brown hair and lovely green eyes he looked to be at least 2

It was then a lady came over to us and started talking
"Ah yes, his mother died during child birth and his father hung himself shorty after to be with his wife in heaven, we found him in the park laying under a tree in a basket, he didn't have a name so we just called him X so if you adopt him you can name him whatever you want.
She smiled and walked off

Phil then rested his hand on my shoulder
"Dan, I think this is the one..."

I looked at him and smiled trying to hold back my tears of joy

"It most certainly is" I pecked his cheek and made my way over to the lady

After filling out the apparent work we went shopping for our new little member of the family, since we would be able to take him home at the end of the week. We bought him way too many Pokemon plushies and a green and black checkered duvet in a green race car bed a picture of fruit which they nicknames melapples and a computer

"You know Dan we never decided on what we were going to name our new child" he said handing me a cup of coffee

"Yea I know let's decide that, how about Jason?"

"No that's too skater boy"

"How about Zachary?"

"No that sound like a Korean Doctor"

"Hmmm maybe we should do what we did when we decided in our last name? How about Dil?"

"Dil... Dil Howlter... I like it! It's got a nice ring to it as well!"

"So it's settled then, Dil Howlter"

"Dil Howlter"

It has been 3 months since we brought Dil home and he seems to have adjusted rather quickly, he is so cute and loves to play computer games whenever he can get his hands on them.

"He is so much like his father" Dan chuckled

"Which one?"

"Both"

I smiled at him, my beautiful husband and our adorable little son. Life turned out great, and I couldn't be more happier in my entire life...
