No words to describe this peculiar beast

Happiness can dawn anytime

For a moment you forget

You don't have the need for letters and words anymore

The simple joy

But than you return again

So swiftly

You ignore it for a day or two

But you start to wonder

What is different?

Could this be my own fault?

Keep on walking 

Don't look back

Do not stand still on the railroad track

Do not look at others 

Do not ask

Please, do not ask

You felt alive again

A happiness you did not remember

You simply could forget

And in a matter of hours, if you're lucky, days

You look back, enjoying the view of progress

Bam! 

Bloody nose, black eye

A wall higher than you can see

Tears in your eyes

The same figure there to beat you up again

You didn't see it coming

Happiness prevented you from getting ready

So you roll on your side and pray for forgiveness for a fault you haven't made

And the scared boy realises he is ready to give up again

To be numb again

To be sedated

So

The words we might give to these sorrows is unimportant

They are simply letters in a certain order

Numbing the crowd so they won't have to look at the beat-up boy

They walk by with the same words on their lips

Leaving the taste of insanity on their tongue
