So I found this in an really old notebook and I think it's interesting to see the difference. I did edit it a bit but anyway. 

Sometimes I wish you were a girl

It would make everything a lot easier

I wish I felt those butterflies when seeing her instead of him

I wish I could control who I liked

I still think I can

So I will kiss her not him

But every night I see your eyes

Every night I think of you

Every time I want to hold your hand

Not the dainty one currently in mine

Maybe I wish I were a girl

So I could love you easily

So you could really love me

Sometimes I wish you were a girl 

But than I see you as a boy 

And I adore you even more
