Jungkook's Pov

We informed the mafia friends of Namjoon hyung to check around the area quickly yet discreetly so that Jungsoo wouldn't know about it.

Feeling the stability of finally having evidence to form a solid plan, we all moved to our meeting room. Mina and Mark also took seats around the table.

"Okay so guys." Namjoon hyung started. "My friends told me that the tracker was found on the ground near an apartment building. But the thing is it was on the road. So they checked around the place and for the ring to be thrown there, there are 5 buildings that could probably do that. Each building has around 5 storeys and roughly around 12 apartments each."

"But we also don't know if the tracker was thrown or fallen?" Jin hyung pointed out.

"It could also be a trap. Like last time." Jimin hyung mentioned.

"Last time, he didn't know how we worked so he wanted to see us in action. He wouldn't do a trap again. But it could be that the ring was fallen." Namjoon hyung said while thinking.

"So there are around 60 apartments that could throw the ring from?" Suga hyung asked.

"No 30. Because only a half would be facing this side of the building." I pointed out.

"It's all a rough idea."

We all got into thinking about how to look through the place without wasting out time going through all the apartments around.

We can't afford to waste time.

V hyung who was silent this whole time finally spoke up. "I might be able to connect the cctv in that area again if we could go closer."

"Can't we get the whole area connected then?" Mark asked.

"We can't. If they find my system imprints on their's, they might block everything which could leave us with nothing. Jungsoo knows how I work when he hacked into me so it wouldn't be hard to know my actions. That would also make it hard for me to access the cameras without risking letting them know that we know where she is hidden." V hyung mentioned.

"Okay so Jimin and Taehyung with Mark will go and try to do that. My friends are also keeping an eye around the area so they will help you." Namjoon hyung said to which we all nodded. "Others, pack everything we might need. Right when cctv are connected we will form a plan and quickly get on with it."

Everyone got up to leave except for me, Suga hyung and Mina who stayed behind.

"Wait so why didn't we try cracking the CCTV block before?" Mina asked from hyung when others all left.

"Because then we have to crack all the cameras without a proper idea where to look. The area we had suspected was huge.  Also if they knew we had an idea as to where she might be, they would change her place." Suga hyung aswered.

I remained silent letting my mind go wild. So in order to form a plan we should have an idea about the place. CCTV is useful but I gotta see it mysrlf.

I quickly got up and went to talk to Namjoon hyung.

"Hyung, can I go with the other 3 to check around a little?" I asked. He was leaning against the kitchen counter watching Jin hyung quickly prepare a meal for the leaving party to snack on for energy.

"It could be dangerous cause his men knows you more than they know these three." Namjoon hyung said.

"But I wanna look around. Maybe I could be of help."

"Or you could get their attention and mess up the whole plan." Jin hyung said then.

"We don't even have a proper plan yet so maybe I could go and get an idea." I suggested then.

"How are you gonna get an idea when there's nothing to see their except the buildings around?" He asked me again.

"How do you know that for sure when you haven't even been there?"

"Isn't it onvious? Jungsoo isn't a fool who would keep Y/n on a balcony for everyone to see. But if they see you in the area it won't be long when they change her place and she is beyond our reach. Again!" He said then with a hint of anger in his voice.

I was getting angry too. All I wanna do is help because I have been at home this whole time not even doing anything and now when I have a chance to help, he is stopping me.

"But-"

"Jungkook. I think Jin hyung is right with this one. It would be risky to have you there." Namjoon hyung said, patting my back.

I looked down at the ground feeling defeated. I could go alone and on my own without their permission if I wanted to. But it's never pleasant going without their knowledge. The guilt would eat me up.

Jin hyung then pulled my head up from my chin and smiled at me dearly. "It's not that we don't trust you Kookie. It's because we don't want to complicate things. But if you really wanna go then I'm coming with you." He then said with his eyes soft and a small smile curling the corners of his lips.

"If Jin hyung is going, I'm going too. At least I can keep an eye on everyone." Suga hyung said entering into the kitchen area.

Just then hobi hyung came in as well. "I gotta go help the guys with the gadgets around the van and implanting the new ones I made to hack the signal loss in the area. Namjoonah is it okay if I go with the other 3?"

Namjoon hyung burst out laughing at that. With his eyes in half moons, he signalled everyone to go back to the meeting room. We even called the other 4.

"Okay so change of plans. We except for Mina is going there."

Everyone nodded except for Mina who exclaimed. "Why not me?"

"It's dangerous for you there baby." Suga hyung said while rubbing her head smoothly. Mina pouted and slumped back down. Her anger radiating in waves yet she kept silent not wanting to go against Namjoon hyung's words.

"Mina. You won't be alone. I called Yoona, my girlfriend to come keep you company. And no you don't have to sit still and do nothing as well." Namjoon hyung said with a smirk. "Yoona is also good with computer work. So in case we need any help with the main system here, we will contact you. You and her can help us being at home. Okay?"

Mina's eyes lit up then at the mention of being useful in the plan. She excitedly exclaimed "Okay!" making others chuckle. Suga hyung kissed her forehead with a gummy smile.

"Okay guys. Let's get it!"

We got ready and filled into the van. Yoona came right before we left and after small introductions between Mina and her, we left the 2 girls to save mine who is out there alone.

My heart is always shadowing this pain behind it. But whenever I think about Y/n, her being there away from us all alone, it just kills me. I wonder whether Jungsoo is treating her right. Or whether she is okay, she ate or even if he got hurt.

But if she got hurt I would feel that right?

But I didnt see her after she went there. I didnt feel anything about her ever since she was taken which concerned me. Why can't I see her?

We always saw each other when we slept far away. But when we slept together we would dream like normal people. So now that we are far, why can't I see her?

Did our special ability somehow vanished?

Or did something happen to our connection? No that can't be true. She is mine and mine only.

But then what if she is.... no no. Nothing happened to her. She is fine.

She will be fine.

The van moved slow through the busy roads and as we entered into the area, we all got tenses. Parking the van on the inside of the area where no cctv are working, hyungs all got out one by one until only the makneas were left.

Jimin hyung drove the van again towards the area we have in the map. Where the ring was found.

"Guys be discreet and careful. Jungkook you specially."

Namjoon hyung's voice ran through the in-ear piece that Hobi hyung specially made to make sure our signals won't be detected or messed up by others.

Suga hyung is suppose to go to a high place he could get and keep an eye on us. Namjoon hyung went to meet his friends. Jin hyung and Hobi hyung would also be around just amidst the crowd, alert for any sign that could cause danger to anyone and implanting the new gadgets Hobi hyung made to crack the cameras without letting anyone know.

As we reached the place, I looked at the other 3.

"I'll go around a little and be back soon. Mark don't go out alone. And guys take care of him."

They nodded. I got out of the van hoping against hope that nothing would happen to any one of us.

Getting details about the place the ring is at from V hyung, I moved through the somewhat crowded place. The buildings around me now are apartments. All of them have a shopping mall on the ground floor which causes a small crowd to linger on the roads and around. This could be used as as advantage as well as a disadvantage.

Gathering information about the surrounding, I went forward only to stop when the shiny ring caught my attention. It was on the floor near another apartment building. The ring looked new except for a few scratches but it still shone showing how it's newly bought.

I bought this a week ago when Y/n was with Mark in a gaming shop. The ring caught my eye and since I haven't really given her many things during our relationship, I wanted to give her a promising ring. I know it's such a cringy thing to do but it still warmed my heart when I saw the ring and thought of her wearing it that I couldn't help but buy it.

I was gonna take her out for a dinner on sunday and give it to her. I installed the tracker in it too cause I knew she would always wear it so we can keep an eye on her all the time. Didn't know we would have to use it this soon.

But now when I scan the ring, it doesn't look that special. It had meaning, that special glow in it but now it feels like it just lost it's all importance.

Pocketing the ring, I started the go through the shopping malls in the buildings that I mainly suspect to get a glipmse of any people that look suspicious.

I'm dressed in casual clothes that are baggy holding all the armors and guns inside. So no one will know my true intestion cause I appear like another guy who is doing shopping.

Going through the second building, I heard V hyung's voice run through my ear.

"Cracked it. Damn it took me an hour."

"Good job V. Now check the pass few hours and days." Namjoon hyung said.

"That would take a lot of time." Jin hyugn voice out.

"Not if we all work on it." Jimin hyung said.

The line then got silent and we all started to get into what we were doing.

The fourth building gave me a little suspicion because it was unusually crowded. Not with people. But with random boxes. I tried opening one only to flinch when a loud voice screamed. "Who are you kid?"

I turned around to find a big guy who has a stern features on his face, wearing only a white vest and trousers. He was coming towards me.

"I'm just here to get something." I mumbled quickly. I cannot be exposed.

"Get lost from here boy. This isn't your playground." He screamed. But he kept coming closer.

When he was close enough, he whispered. "Please leave here my son. There are bad criminals roaming this building."

My eyes widened.  Did I just find the building?

"What do you mean sir?" I asked faking an innocent boy act.

He shook his head while looking around and then his wide eyes found mine again. "I heard a girl scream last night. It sounded so painful. I live in this building but all the other floors are empty but never being sold for anyone. A mafia owns all of them. I am their hide out." He said everything as if it's something casual to say.

My blood ran cold hearing about the screams. Is it Y/n? Or does he have other girls locked here as well?

"Jungkook don't lose your act." Namjoon hyung strict voice came through pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Why are you telling me everything sir? That could danger your life." I quickly pointed out.

"I live alone my son. I don't care about my life. I just want someone to save that poor girl. But I dont want you to get hurt as well so inform the police if you can. Now go! Get lost!"

He shooed me out of the building before closing the door.

"Good job Koo. We got a lead."

"Guys. That is the building. I check the time she was taken and yea she was taken into the building. There are 3 guys entering in. None of them are Jungsoo." V hyung said suddenly.

"We can't assume there's only 3 but we can say there is a minimus of 3 there. So get ready. We have to go in soon." Namjoon hyung said. "Jin hyung, Hobi come to the building. I'll be there with my friends."

"The location is already sent to your phones." Jimin hyung said.

"I have to move one building from where I am so I'll go there soon." Suga hyung said then.

"Good. Now Jungkook. Wait for us."

With that the line went silent.

I was waiting for them watching the night sky now going darker and darker with each passing minute. There were no stars lighting the sky as if it knew that we needed the darkness today. That we need the shadows to hide. That we have to become the darkness ourselves.

My attention snaps towards the said building when a loud, painful scream echoed through scaring me to my bones.

I froze. Scared as I started trembling. Anger, fear and pain all radiating inside and out my body in waves when I recognized the voice. Her voice. My love. My Y/n.

Taking deep breaths or holding my breath, I dont really know, I put my attention on the building where the scream came from. If I just run inside I could danger both of us and the hyungs so even if I'm impatient, I have to weight my actions carefully.

Scanning for a minute, I found a window or more like a small opening with only a grid panel securing it. Looking from it, if anything is thrown through it, then it can safely reach the spot the ring was found.

That place has a possibility of having her inside. But seeing as how other floors of the building has proper windows and even balconies, this one really stands out.

I guess I found where she might be kept.

This time with no hesitation I went inside the building not getting the attention of the man who warned me off.

"Jungkook where are you going?" Jimin hyung asked me which I ignored.

"No jungkook. Stay where you are. We are almost there." Namjoon hyung's voice ran through.

"I heard her scream hyung. I found where she is kept. I can't stay and listen to her scream anymore." I mumbled while making my way up the staircase to reach the room that might be connected to the window.

I removed my baggy clothes to get my gear out and pulled a gun to my hands.

"Jungkook. Just wait." Jin hyung exclaimed.

I'm sorry hyung. But I gotta go.

I disconnected the ear piece.

I ran to reach the floor where the room might be and started running alone the corridor. My tracks stops adruptly when I heard whimpers.

Painful whimpers coming out through an iron door.

Slowly pushing it open, I was surprised when I found it unlocked. I quickly open the door with a loud bang distracting anyone who is inside.

There were 2 people. 1 was towering over the other.

The person who turned his head to look at the noice had a fearful expression on his face but it soon masked into confusion seeing me. He expected someone else it seems.

Behind him, I saw Y/n. Her face red and tears streaming down her face.

That was all I needed to see red.

The gun hoistened again into my gear as I made my way closer to the jerk and punch him hard across his face in an instant, not letting him to even lift his hands up for protection. I started hitting him rapidly even as he fell down. My mind was blank and the only thing driving my action was the tears in her eyes.

"J-Jungkook. S-stop." Her weak mumbled came through to me putting me out of my daze. My hands stopped. The person lied beneath me unconscious.

My hands were bloodied so I quickly wiped them in my own clothes before getting upto reach Y/n.

She sobbed seeing me come to her. I quickly pulled her in for a hug, letting my face bury on the crook of her neck, welcoming the sweet scent she always has.

"What happened love? Why did you scream? Did he hurt you?" I asked rapidly, pulling out from her neck and scanning her face.

"He-he tried to h-hurt me cause I didn't e-eat." She said through rapid stuttering.

"He was trying to force feed you?" I asked scanning her tear streaked face.

She hmmed softly. "He s-said Jungsoo scolded them so I s-should just eat and started t-to-"

"It's okay. You're okay now. You're okay. I'm here." I chanted disturbing her sentence while stroking her face to stop her from crying.

Just then the door to the room was closed and locked making us startle and turn around.

My blood boiled seeing Jungsoo walk in.

"Hello my dear brother." He said with a small smile. "How did you find her so quickly though?"

His smile and his stance gave away the fact that he is surprised and also scared seeing me here. Seems like he thought I wouldn't be able to find my girl if he kept her here.

I pulled out from Y/n's embrace and stood in front of her protectively.

"Why do you have men like him guarding her?" I asked with venom at the mention of the jerk.

Jungsoo cocked his head towards the unconscious man. "What do you mean?" He must have noticed the red marks on Y/n's cheek. "Did he do something to you, Y/n?"

I scoffed. "Why? Wasn't you the one who sent him in to do it?"

His jaw clenched with anger as he made his way closer to the man.

I moved closer and covered Y/n completely with my body when I saw jungsoo pull a gun out and shoot the gun twice. Right on the other guy's chest.

"He was always a jerk to begin with but was good on tasks at site. But now he crossed a line." He mumbled.

He called a few other men and made them drag the body outside.

Once the place was just occupied by the 3 of us, he sat down in a chair facing us.

"Sit down Jungkook."

"Why? Wanna have a tea party now?" I asked with sarcasm dripping my voice.

"Sit down Jungkook." Y/n mumbled from behind me.

Jungsoo signals me to grab a chair from the corner and I bought it closer to Y/n and sat down right next to her.

Without a word spoken, I quickly untied all her ties and freed her wrists and ankle that are red and scratched.

"How did you find her?" Jungsoo asked.

"None of your fucking business. If there's anything you really wanna say, say it now. Or I'm taking her away from here." I said harshly.

"What makes you think I would let her go so easily?" He ssked me.

"What makes you think you can stop me? I came here for her and only her. Even if I get killed, I won't stop until I see her safe and sound. Away from you."

"Why is she not safe with me?"

"Other than the fact that your own men tried to hurt her, you are a fucking mafia and a jerk. And she is my girl. Not yours."

"I might be a mafia but she is better with me than with your hyungs. I can protect her better than you or them ever could." Jungsoo said getting on my nerves.

"You jerk-"

"Jungkook." Y/n called out stopping me from making my way towards jungsoo.

"Why are you so calm Y/n?" I asked her. Watching her as her eyes were focused on the floor. Away from me.

Even when I untied, not once did her hand grab mine in her touch. It was as if somehow she is distanced from me.

"Why does it feel like you believe him?" I asked. My voice barely a whisper.

She then looked up at me. Her eyes swimming with tears.

"Jungsoo agreed to tell us everything about our past. I want us to know." She said in a mumble.

I looked at Jungsoo then.

"Yea. It's time you guys know it seems."
